I also have an Aeros looper along with the RC-5 and Beat Buddy. The 1stop playback and stereo 32 bit sound made me upgrade from the RC-3. My live play is in my studio where I can get the complete song Produced and recorded for one press playback at gigs.
Does the RC-5 have quantize function which can be used with beat Buddy? I need a looper to work with the beat Buddy and this looks like pretty good solution, thanks
Ok I have a Boss RC 5 my rhythm guitar amp and my bass amp run through it it’s my rhythm section another amp for jamming or recording real time live solos over my loop
I connected the BB to RC5 using correct cables, but the tempo on BB is increasing on its own until reaching the max (300 bpm). I did reset on both pedals, is there any setting that needs to be change? please help. thanks

BEAUTIFUL ALSO I HAVE THE BOSS RC500 AND THE BEAT BUDDY WITH CABLES BUT HOW MUST SET IN THE MENU TO SYNCHRONIZE
Do you get any glitchy fluctuation sounds when you playback loops you've recorded on the RC5, while the midi clock is synced/slaved to the BeatBuddy? My DAW, Digitech SDRUM, RC500 and even my other RC5 have all given me this problem when I use them as midi clock masters. Fluctuations are less frequent when syncing one Boss RC pedal to another but they're still there sadly
Hi what midi cable you used to connect these two please. The beatbuddy looks like 6pin female.. please correct me if i am wrong.

How do you sync the two? My Boss and Beat Buddy won't sync, so recorded loops can't keep time with beat buddy

Great video, thank you! Question: you ran your Beat Buddy output to a different amp than RC-5 just to highlight what the BB triggers and doesn't trigger on RC-5, correct? Does this mean I can plug the output BB into the RC-5's input, and have BB sounds running through RC-5, while having it sync tempo via Midi? Is this correct? Bit of a looper and drum machine newbie here. I just bought an RC-5 and am considering the Beat Buddy. Thank you.
