Great video demo. This is an amazing piece of gear with the Beat Buddy. You are to the point and have created a great reference video on the basic use of this gear!
So I just got the Aeros Loop Studio along with the Beat Buddy and have been watching a ton of videos on them. This is by far the best review so far. Great real world examples and easy to digest commentary. Thank you for doing this review.
I watch a lot of gear demos on RUclips and I'm surprised Ive never come across one of yours. VERY GOOD SIR! Watched other demos of this looper but yours is the big winner for me. You have now convinced me you buy one. Now the wait as I gather the funds. Keep up the good work.
Thank you. You're the best. You're the only one on the internet who has shown that you can continue recording the next part of a song without re-listening to the one you just recorded!
Thank you! The set-up section is what makes this video stand out from the other reviews! i hope you can make a full loop tutorial of the songs played here. really awesome to hear the song parts all come together.
Noticed you don't mention a MIDI workflow between the Aeros and Beat Buddy. Singular Sound's website has some pretty cool demos of what's possible with that set-up in terms of time synchronization between loops and beats which looks awesome. The Maestro MIDI foot controller ties it all together seamlessly, at least in their marketing demo.
Out of a host of videos, this is one of the very few that presents a clear view of how to really use the parts / tracks. Great work! Most of the others are just people dumping overdubs over overdubs over overdubs over the same piece!
Nuce! I bought last week and did not use, but I Have beatbuddy and I hope it will work together well! Thanks for your help explanation! I need a lot more of that!
I love the sound! I love the way you explain things. BB + Aeros combination is awesome. I had Headrush Looper thinking it's the ultimate looping tool but now now I've found I was wrong. Thank you.
thank you for the thorough, concise, well structured review of all basic modes. i also really appreciate the setup examples as one of my questions with this has been “how will this sound if i hook it up like...” and this the first video to explain the hook up. thank you.
Bad guy please 🙂 I've learnt dusk till dawn, the night we met, a thousand year & I'll never love again from your videos, you're so good , so I'm requesting to do a tutorial on bad guy🙂

Jealous on your guitar collection. Im still on the process of saving up for that cole clark I want. Thank you for making me fall inlove with music all over again.. ❤❤❤.. And oh I love Ed Sheeran just resting for a bit now my string snap around the G..
Nice looper and set up with BB...but it is quite pricey. Also, not sure how convenient it is with so few foot switches compared to something like the RC-500 which offers full 32-bit audio quality, dual channel stereo, and built in drums at about half the price.) Technically this looper can probably do more in the hands of a pro, but for practical, every day use, I think most players would be very happy with the RC-500 or alike. The BB is a great band in the box tool- should be a steeper discount if bundled together or better yet, incorporate into a singular pedal.
Excellent sequence and Demos. And...ROLL TIDE! :) Great Sweet Home Alabama Demo. Thanks for all the work to help us understand this, at least a little bit. BTW, great Time after Time!
Hey Dave, love your work. All your youtube videos inspired me to dig up an acoustic guitar and sign up for your course. Loving it so far (though my fingers aren't!). Just a couple of suggestions for throwback Thursday songs that might be worth doing - Reef; Place your hands, or Matchbox 20: Long day. Cheers and keep up the good work!
@@GuitarZero2Hero I decided to video record my progress on a monthly basis from zero, so maybe in 6-12 months I'll be able to send you a compilation of how I did with your course. 👍
Hi. Your videos have helped me a lot to learn how to play. And I'm always happy when a new tutorial comes out. well thank you. And I'd like to know if you could teach me anything from James Bay. I would like to play Scars acoustic version
hello, could you please make a lesson on how to play Michelle by the Beatles? The tutorials out there are really difficult, and if there's someone who could make that song easy, it's you! thank you, have a nice day
I was going to do it anyhow but wanted to let you know that, no joke, not being a shill here: I went full out and bought the Aeros, MIDI Maestro, Beat Buddy, Foot Switch using your discount code. You saved me 130USD because of that -- which is probably a better deal than most of the major websites would do and (unexpected bonus) for whatever reason SS didn't charge me VAT or sales tax?!?! That's easily another $80 so you incentivizing me to go directly to Singular Sound with free shipping saved me $210. THANK YOU and I hope that goes back to you in some way.
@@GuitarZero2Hero I think I will. Also checked out your tutorials. As a bass player who'd like to be a better guitar player, your lessons are exactly my speed so looks like you've got a new dedicated viewer. Was curious if you'd do Paul Simon's "American Tune?" It's a beautiful song I've wanted to learn for some time. Cheers! -Evan
@@wizardmix I'll have a listen Evan - can't guarantee anything though :) Great to hear you got a bass background - sounds like you'll be laying down some fun bass grooves on the looper to play on top of! When you get the looper don't be afraid to reach out to singular sound if you need help, their support is pretty good. It takes some experimenting to understand how it works but once you do, it's a lot of fun!
@@GuitarZero2Hero Thanks for considering it. "American Tune" is a beautiful guitar line very much in the spirit of "Blackbird" and "Dust in the Wind." Before I leave this planet I want to learn to play that song and of all the tutorials out there, I think you've nailed how I learn and my passion for detail. You really are remarkable in that. I've been waiting for this exact elegant looping system to be invented. I just wanted a beautiful writing tool for my bass, synths, vocals and hopefully my improving guitar skills that I could possibly take out on gigs. I'm excited to see how bass can play into it for sure! Great to hear that the tech support is solid and all the expansion features you mentioned (such as being able to copy/freeze foundational tracks into a new part) are perfect. I've always admired how Quincy Jones produced and hired musicians to create simple parts that syncopate together to make a sound sound larger than life. That's the avenue I want to go down with it. Believe it or not, purchasing this setup will be a simplification to where I once was and I couldn't be happier about it. My last project was very Ableton/live looping heavy -- not so much me but our singer/guitar/keyboard player. I wanted to get more into live looping with bass, synths and vocals but I did not want to make our live setup any more complicated than it already was (AND IT WAS).... We had so much tech on stage it felt to me like we were losing our humanity! Indeed we were. It was a real nightmare to set up and get the mix to sound good live. If something didn't glitch out at least once, it was a miracle. I cannot tell you how many times front of house saw our setup and said "just give us a stereo pair or a CAT 5 and we'll use your iPad to control FOH." As soon as they heard that bass was in stereo, they knew they were in for it! Ableton is great and robust. Using a computer to generate all of your FX is great but all of the technical issues and crashes were not worth it. We'd always have to worry about the computer overheating or processor glitching out. It was always something that caused a panic right before we started playing. I'm an old believer in purpose hardware. Something that was designed to do a set of tasks and nothing else. So now that I left that mad, mad project with tech PTSD, this system seems like a dream! TMI? -- Thanks for being, listening and all the rest! I'll certainly be watching. -Evan

Hey Dave..thats a great demo...i loved your melody as well... how can I record/loop vocals and guitar simultaneously into the Aeros? I have a focusrite 2/2..will that help?. any ideas are welcome? any idea how include a bass guitar simulator to this setup?
Hey! You’ll basically need a small mixer that will be placed in the front of the setup. Plug your guitar in one channel and your vocals into another channel. Then out of the mixer and into the Aeros. That’s a simplified explanation but feel free to contact Aeros if you want to know about what’s possible :)
