Finally someone who is worthy playing this masterpiece besides the beloved Zeppelin... Exceptional work boys!
Go see Lez Zeppelin.
😂
ever hear of virtual Zeppelin?
Check out the original with Page and The Yardbirds
@@Scott-sx1bf This is a Jake Holmes song.
Led Zeppelin's music will forever be timeless.
Is this led zeppelin? Or is it a Willie Dixon song. Pretty sure they stole it. Love the zeppelin. But look it up
Steal no, cover yes and the rest is history.
More timeless than the songs they ripped off.
Did u notice this isn’t Led Zeppelin and that these mother fuckers slay this cover
I quite like Led Zeppelins music, I'm a huge fan. But it's an insult not to acknowledge the stuff the outright stole. You can argue that they weren't thinking about the ramifications of their actions, but the fact of the matter is they didn't give credit and they were a massively popular rock band covering the music of black artists, who commonly did not get their dues, especially not when compared to the ones some young white guys got for covering their work. If you claim to care about music really then you should acknowledge that there was some injustice there. You can only start expressing respect for those artists from a basis of truth, or you're being insincere, I think.
First live music I EVER heard was Zep, and by accident. Got front and center tickets to see Taj Mahal in an acoustically perfect classical concert hall - 20 feet from the stage, with my leg hanging out in the central aisle (the ushers objected repeatedly.) The promoter came out and apologized that Taj's truck had broken down, so we could either have four hours of Led Somebody or Other, or get our $5 back at the door. We stayed. This song changed my life, and you guys are bringing that all back! 🙏
sweet
the bassist and keyboarder did such a perfect job tying everything together in this one.
when guitar and drums became so unhinged in this one, bass and keys were there to hold it together.
That is what stuck out to me the most! Like at 6:00 how in the hell were we still on rhythm?! Absolute legends this lot!
How in the F@&$ do these guys have less than 300k subscribers??? They are exactly what rock needs right now!
I was a very young 18 year old when I saw Led Zeppelin perform Dazed & Confused at the Fillmore East in May of 1969. While nothing will compare to the excitement of that show, this was an terrific rendition! And FWIW, more than once during the concert, Page played a few segues/medleys, mixing together snippets of a variety of other songs, just like The Main Squeeze did with this version!
There’s a great bootleg of that show on RUclips. What an experience that must’ve been!
@@Dan-zq5wt A video? Or just the sound?
@@geneobrien8907 just sound. But when I went to listen to it, it was muddy sounding. Check out 4/27/69 Fillmore West or September 1970 MSG.
@@Dan-zq5wt Thanks! I saw them four more times after that Fillmore show, at MSG twice, the Boston Garden and the Shaffer Music Festival in Central Park. All good shows but none of them were better than the one at the Fillmore East.
@@geneobrien8907 amazing
The Kashmir-riff in the end takes it over the top! Great work!
THAT, is certainly on my top 10 Dazed and Confused covers! Fabulous!
This is by far the best cover of this song I’ve ever heard. Honestly, calling it a cover is an injustice because you guys always make every song your own. Hats off to all you master musicians.
❤ какое бережное, как обычно, отношение к классике. И вместе с тем, творческое. Браво, ребята! Бис! 🎉🎉🎉
The most soulful zeppelin song in their catalog
I thought for sure I'd hear a crowd losing their collective sh*ts after this. I was transported and forgot they were in their own studio. Rock on, boys!
I DEADASS DREAMT ABOUT YOU GUYS COVERING THIS SONG LAST NIGHT I WAS LIKE "WHAT IF THE MAIN SQEEZE PERFORMED DAZED AND CONFUSED IT WOULD BE SO EPIC" THIS IS ACTUALLY INSANE???

Thank you guys for one more piece of pure art of rock’n’roll!
I would die to hear you guys perform a vocal version of Funkadelic's Maggot Brain one day.
Dude, same. That'd be excellent
🤘agreed 🤘
Yes I agree 💯...#Eddiehazel
Yessir
What's wrong with the original..?
Who's up for an Awesomely..Kick Ass.... Amazing....Out of this F'n World.... Guitar solo..... Hell Yeah...Mr Dilly..is !!! Nuff Said !!!!👍🎸😎❤️
Dude this guitarist always delivers the best, spectacular. I love you, great guitar master, love to all the band too.
That bass too ❤
Good lord, guys. It's like every member of Zep's soul temporarily seeped into y'all. Incredible.
ever hear virtual Zeppelin?
Proper rock and roll, of the highest order.
Holy Sh*t! That was amazing! You guys are beyond calling these "covers"......more like "inspired by....."
Great call on ‘inspired by..’
How i feel about Joe Russo's Almost Dead.
@@lancej1777 Exactly! My favorite GD "Cover" band, because of this.
It is a cover as they did LZ '69 - '73 note for note... However it is the best version I've ever heard, especially the Kashmir outro
Sweet baby Jesus, oh Lord!!!! I could not stop bouncing and rocking and smiling. A big smile on my face. That was incredible and much needed. Thank you so much, Main Squeeze.
I believe the point of this song includes a lot of improvisation, you all do that well. Especially your guitarist. Sounds great. 4:44
Ah good call, LZ used to go nuts on this one iirc. And the violin thing.
As stunning and amazing as the guitar and drums sound in this fantastic cover, I gotta give some love to the bassist here, who absolutely kills it during this entire piece!
Boys, that main lick agony, y’all nail every damn song.
Ufff great combination... Kashmir riff and Rock and roll drum solo. Perfection!!
Finally someone who played this with the correct amount of reckless abandon. Fantastic Cover.
I can’t stop watching this. This isn’t a musical performance. It’s a seance! I think is saw the ghost of Bonzo hovering back there.
Man these guys really rock! The singer is an animal!
OMG guys... This is the best live version of this song I've heard since LZ did it from '69 to '73... They changed it up a bit after that.... Absolutely musicianship especially the bass!
I cannot believe it! I eargasmed 5 times! How much effort and practice must have been put into this beauty. Incredible! So, so incredible!
I got a notification the main squeeze was doing a zeppelin cover and I came right over
The bass player is damn good and very talented i' ve watched almost all the vidieo's and he' s got it, Thank's for the music
The passion in the faces during this song just makes this all the more better love to see such full enjoyment. Blessing ears again guys LFG
Love those sparkly Bonham-sized Ludwigs. Big thunder in that kick drum.
This band has "it". Please do a show in Minneapolis, we need healing.
Ce groupe est le seul à réussir à reprendre ces chefs d'oeuvres de Led Zeppelin. À quand Whole lota love et Babe I'm gonna leave you...
Un grand bravo à vous 👍👏
Anytime these dudes pull off a Zeppelin it's a treat indeed! They bring it! It was proper that the camera focused on the guitarist during his blistering solo, and I know the keyboards weren't prominent in this song, but the keyboardist blisses out very entertainingly as well, so it would be cool to see more of him "getting his Zep on"! Nice Kashmir sample at the end, too!
The song comes to its full circle, what cometh from the blues returns back to the blues. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust....you grace the song with all its glory. It's like a glass of whiskey on fire going down my throat. I salute you
I’ve share this with 10 friends in the last days! I can’t get enough of them and I’m still finding songs I haven’t listed to yet….LIKE THIS ONE!!!! FIRE!
That last minute was a nice touch! Made me smile at the end of a long day…
I didn't think about it until that last minute how much I need them to do Kashmir
F'n yeah!! Nice rockin' gents! This is how to rock out properly! Love from Seattle!
Soul rhythm and blues
As much as your musicianship shines so does your passion for what you play--the energy is a big part of what makes Main Squeeze unique! Thank you for another fantastic cover!
Brindo por la musica tocada por personas reales, con instrumentos reales y con sentimientos reales.
Brindo por el Rock y por LED ZEPPELIN! AMEN
Seriously, you wove Kashmir into this? You are full Gods. Thank you ❤❤❤
Best since the original, this band outright jams should be touring California and USA and Europe get some recognition they deserve excellent musicianship
This was absolutely insane. Each and every one of y'all rocked it.
I'm always impressed with those guys.
Reuben, you capture the spirit of John Henry Bonham more greatly here than anyone else I've seen. Note-for-note copying is meaningless - it's the sheer enjoyment of playing the drums, and playing like you mean it. I keep coming back to this video.
You guys got that high distant echo squeal on the main riff that is ALWAYS missing on covers! Is that the keyboard? STELLAR! Recording is IMMENSE! I have so many live versions by Zep of this memorized... it was cool to hear your interpretation of the improvs while keeping the spirit of it all!
This cover of one of favorite Zeppelin songs is just...bloody perfect!
Hell Yeah !! Love the respect you give to the songs you cover, while at the same time adding that Main Squeeze musical mastery.
I always love it when they leave a little bit at the end of the video after the song finishes. It’s like they don’t know what hit ‘em ❤ killed it!
You guys playing led zeppelin is something else
was making faces and bibbing my head at the first vocal line. NAILED IT
The most waited day of my life, the cover i needed!
P.S: please make a version of Carry on my wayward Son - Kansas or Stargazer - Rainbow
Man, Stargazer would be a killer cover indeed
As usual, Max A Million does a wonderful "tributesque" solo here, with his own flare. Love this Jam!!
Mesmerizing........
That kicked some serious ass! Great performance 😀
Fantastic job! I really like this band’s Zep covers and I think the guitarist has great tone and very tasteful chops. What I like is that a lot of Zep cover bands think of Zep as Blues+Heavy Rock+Folk but they miss the key Zep ingredient: Heavy Funkadelic. These guys really understand that Zep has a whole slab of sexy, funky, psychedelia in the heart of their music, which is why they crossover from teen white kids who love rawk to people of all color, women and even country/bluegrass folks. They have a universal appeal second to only the Beatles. This band gets it.
9:11 long! :) ... never realized Corey could channel Plant so well, wow. good to see the cello bow come out. kashmir graft at the end was cooool
I ❤ the transition to kashmir at the end
Officiellement le groupe de reprise le plus talentueux
Just started watching… can’t wait to see where Smiley is going to go with this…. Was hoping for a keyboard solo like in war pigs. Awesome job guys, but would have loved a Smiley solo. The introduction of keys in a song when it wasn’t in the original really adds a flavour.
That drummer is a machine.
Shoutout to everybody but especially that DRUMMING!!! Channeling your inner BONHAM
Back when rock was in it's heyday, Max would have been one of the great guitarists.
I literally got goosebumps with all that soul and talent
Does the keyboard player age? I just watched the Same Cooke cover "A Change is Gonna Come" and could swear to god that man hasn't aged a day in a decade, damn near. How are you all so good at so many genres? It's like you guys are a musical sand box and the literal only instructions to get a gigantic castle is add water, it just flows.
Frickin awesome!
That Kashmir segue at the end was FIRE
Not only do I love this, but the Kashmir ending was awesome. I am now inspired to actually launch into Kashmir ant the end of DaC if I ever get the chance.
Rock version of melodrama, our feelings, our despair, the opera of Led Zeppelin is no more revealed than the use of that violin bow!
GREAT Version....Dig the Kashmir ending....Gratitude for honoring the ROCK CLASSICS!!!!
Absolutely amazing and respectful cover!
Great job! Loved that bit of Kashmir thrown in at the end too!
DAMN... The part they start Kashmir!! U guys are the closest possible and the closest second (if I may) to the real deal!!! Rock Out Guys!!
Mais uma brilhante interpretação!!!
Vocês são demais!
Parabéns e obrigado por nos presentear com o trabalho!
👍 🇧🇷. 🇧🇷. 🇧🇷. 🇧🇷
Aguardando eles incessantemente aqui em São Paulo
Foda demais
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Beautiful colors in this video... and as always great execution.
That Kashmir cameo towards the end was dope
It blows my mind how much justice y'all give theses songs, it absolutely amazing
Absolut unglaublich Jungs! And that is not an easy song to cover. I thought, your 'Have a Cigar' was difficult to beat. Your Led Zeppelin covers are at least as that awsome. Thanks!
Reuben absolutely nailed this one. Beat those drums like they owed him money at just the right points. Bonham would be proud.
What a plot twist in the end, amazing!
Far out, man!!!
The Kashmir at the end was priceless
great sounds....vocals are fantastic
Wonderful rendition - you guys friggin killed it! Love seeing that SG get played like it deserves to be.
This is Great!!! Honestly think that another Zep song like "Trampled UnderFoot" especially the live version will be great to hear from u guys
Max (guitar) at 2:35
Man, he is FEELING IT!!!! 🔥
Nice to see Reuben stretch his legs and show off his chops on this one. You can tell he's doing it bc the song calls for it, not bc he's playing for his ego. It's actually refreshing to see a musician who cares more about the music than stroking his own ego, especially one as talented as Reuben. If anyone hasn't seen his personal channel, I highly suggest you check it out. Dude has some monster chops.
Main Squeeze getting the Led out ❤️❤️❤️
You guys just simply take it to another level. Splendid!
If ever a phrase was appropriate - "HOLY SHIT"! every one of you guys are amazing. Well done!!!
I used to watch the live L.Z video all the time in my teens. This song is the kind that normally covers don't do justice. Not in this case. Absolutely 💯 unreal, nuances and solos!
Wow. I wasn't ready for that at 6:45am. Love the Kashmir / Rock n Roll outro. Brilliant!
I've been a Led Zep fan for over 40 years, got the tatts, worn out (long ago) multiple T-shirts etc,
and this performance gave me goose bumps! all of them in their own way just lovin the moment.
The vocals were bang on, and they all deserve a mention but watchin the dude on keyboards made me smile, he absolutely loved that lol 😂 first time hearing u guys but not my last!
loved, subbed and ring-a-ding-dinged that bell👏Now off to watch u do Comfortably Numb 😍
These guys are awesome doing an awesome rendition of an awesome song by an awesome band!
Been waiting for this drummer to bring the bonham out in his zeppelin covers. And this was it
What in the absolute fuck 😂This is by far the best cover of this song I've ever heard. Just wow dudes😳
