  • If you like vintage watches and audio, Jonathan and Jed Chevalier of Watch Safari talk about analog in sound and horology, about size, quality, authenticity and design. If you ever wondered why watches got so big, why audio got so small, or what does quality even mean anymore, this conversation is for you.

Awesome vid really enjoyed your discussion I totally agree that watches are art and it's hard to explain the joy that comes from looking at them, so I look forward to future content about them take care and live long and prosper

It’s taken me a long time to get to the place in my life where stuff stops being just stuff. It becomes an extension of an esthetic. Great conversation!! Love the wood holder.

Definitely vintage watches & audiogear. Always collected both. I have several Hamilton Electric watches. Including the Ventura (1957) that you showed. Thank you for sharing. God forbid you get on the subject of collecting wine!

Love this episode. I could listen to this for another hour. I appreciate the passion that you both have in watches. I was not able to find a website for Watch Safari. Can you please provide it?

I started with modern watches but matured into 27mm vintage Cartiers and handmade independent brands.

Audio equipment and cars uses a Shared space and the design respond to that…. Watches design is a lot more individual
