Thanks a ton! Much appreciated to get such a feedback from an „expert“. I started two years ago with the videography and I think there’s so much more room for improvement in case of editing and co :-)
Thanks Felix! Really great video! Thanks also for being so transparent! I love that about you and your channel and I'm certain that plays a large role in your success!

Fantastic video for me! I’ve been collecting watches for 20 years, but only fixing and servicing my own watches for 5 years. I’m always looking for the next bargain for me. I’m in the UK near London and go to the Heathrow watch fair, I also buy on eBay and from contacts. There is a Birmingham fair I’d like to go to, but I know no others near me. If you know any, please let me know. I also used to go to Basel World, great weekends away! I’ve bought a few new watches this way. I’d love you to do a video for someone like me who is more into buying watches to fix/service themselves.
Thank you for your detailed comment. So far we only have experience with watch fairs within the EU and are mainly at the WTA in Munich. We have not yet dared to go to England because it is no longer part of the EU since Brexit and we would then have to pay 19% tax on every watch when entering Germany. But next year we will try out a few fairs outside the EU. These include America and Hong Kong 🇭🇰
So first of all I have to say that I am not a watchmaker and would not be able to take apart a movement. But in my opinion a good start would be to learn how a movement is built and works and of course which parts have which task. Once you have all the basics down pat, the next good step would be to watch RUclips videos of famous watchmakers. The next step would be to buy the basic equipment of a watchmaker (cheap), buy an old Seiko automatic for 100$ and just start to take the movement apart, clean and oil the parts and then put it back together. If you feel some kind of fulfillment and joy, you should think about starting an apprenticeship as a watchmaker - because it's never too late!
Can u make a video on how u film the b roll, over headshots setup, lighting, etc. for RUclips? Ur videos are incredibly crispy. I would love to learn from u.
@@GoldammerVintageWatches what a bummer, I love filming myself unboxing watches. I enjoy watching it back and feeling the moment. I would love to film it with quality like ur b rolls for future watches.
5:21 the Museum director did exactly know what „Product“ he was about to suggest to his former employer „Omega“ as he was allegedly part of the crime crew. If there are no compliance processes in place, like the 4 eyes principle it is an easy endeavor for criminals doing an inside Job like that. Its bananas.
I go to watch fairs, but most sellers are professionals not “private”. They know exactly what they are worth and want your future assuming rise of sale prices profit also. Finding the good old eBay, trash for me- riches for you, is waaaaay gone. Same on flea and watch fairs…
I know what you mean but we’re still successful with this business model. It’s all about finding the rare birds on this fairs. Which fairs do you visited already?

your b-roll is incredible. Probably the best on youtube
Much thanks man! Means a lot to me 🙏
Love the honesty and transparency which shows how you bet on quality products and customers.
Thanks so much 👐😊
One of the best quality watch channels on many levels. Content, production and delivery - all first class. Congratulations 🎉
Thanks a bunch man!!
Really enjoyed this video. As a videographer/ photographer I appreciate the unique underexposed aesthetic and lighting 🙌🏼

I want to learn to make services and repair watches, i am engineer and i have mechanical experience, what do you recommend me? Where do i start?

I think there’s not a big interest in this topic, our follower are watch enthusiasts and think many don’t care about it 😅

Why the hat? It is raining inside your office?
Very good video with hat or without hat.
And first of all…why is so dark in your home?🤔😆
I hang curtains around the desk so the sound is better. But at the same time I love the dark mood and the light is always the same 😄😄💫
