  • GM70 Integrated Amplifier
OMA's ultimate amplifier is a Single Ended Triode (SET) design producing 15 watts. Weighing 225 pounds and built on three chassis, The Hollander provides the most powerful, detailed and natural presentation of music possible when used with OMA or other high efficiency loudspeakers. Each chassis is built by hand from solid Pennsylvania black walnut with handmade dovetail joinery, finished in oil and wax, and topped with slate. Inside heavy water jet cut steel plates support the 16 custom wound transformers.
The tube circuit features 12B4 low mu triodes driving AL4 mesh plates transformer coupled to the copper plate GM70 directly heated triode output tubes.
The signal chassis is connected to the power supply chassis and the filament supply chassis by umbilicals with military connectors, the power supply being tube regulated. There is an electronic high voltage delay circuit and an electronic relay system for selecting inputs.
We believe that there is no amplifier anywhere in the world today which can compare to The Hollander. Absolutely natural, effortless and large scale musical reproduction set this amplifier apart.

OMA is certainly a one-of-a-kind company in the audio business. Just looking at the quality of construction and parts quality is amazing in this day and age. Thanks for the peek at the amp!

Happy to see that some companies still build amplifiers witout all those commercial restraints , the way they should be build !!!!!!!
Also with the knowhow that's missing from most current production.

This is the audio art design that I love. I love the solid walnut base and the waterjet cut slate top plate. I can imagine how these sound with SOTA silver wound transformers.
I built my OTL triode amps with similar base but waterjet cut aluminum top sheets. I can appreciate the design. If I were to pull out a wad of cash to buy amps, these would be on my short list.

As someone with a background in electronics I can completely understand the reason you need three separate chassis. Your signal is completely isolated from the power supply, thus making your audio path about as absolutely quiet and zero noise as electronically possible. Combine that with your speaker efficiency even driving them with 50 watts would probably shatter the windows and all the glass in a house with your system.

Nice, would love to hear that one day! The GM70 isn't just a copy, but a much improved and higher plate dissipation descendant of the 845, and as far as I know, the specs of the copper version do not indicate it's lower powered (AFAIK, only the early iron plate version had lower plate dissipation), but they all sound different. Looks like a great design and build! Must admit that for almost the whole duration of the video, I kept staring at the left AL4 driver tube, looks as though it had air (dead getter and vacuum), hopefully an optical illusion. Love your content, hoping you'll be in Munich again as I'm bummed to have missed your room last year! Cheers!

I like the quirkinesses of it, kind of sums up the ethos of honesty and playfulness of the company rather than the greasy Uber slick presentations one sees from other companies who then don’t show us the inner workings as they have cut corners and rely more on slick marketing jibber jabber.. hello X Y and see mythical materials!
