Up to 45 coins can be obtained by spraying water with Elephant Mario, you can traverse a level by jumping indefinitely over bubbles, references to the classic SMB 1-1 and 1-2 levels and Yoshi's Island... Here are 15 cool things you might not know in Super Mario Bros. Wonder!
Part 2 released, check it out! :D
• 16 Other Cool Details ...
the animations are amazing, also the enemies get scared when you're about to defeat them, like jumping near a goomba or a fireball going nearby them
Yeah, makes me feel bad when they're really scared when throwing a fireball at them.
Mario is the bad guy in this game. Those goombas were just enjoying nature and taking a nap.
If two Koopas walk into each other, they give one another a little shell bump before reversing direction
Another extremely cool detail in this game's animations is that, like other platformers you have a balancing animation when near and facing a cliff, BUT also if you're near a cliff and facing away from it!
Looks like Nintendo took some notes from SEGA
Sonic did it first
If you finish a level in Elephant form and have any amount of water in your trunk, when you get the Wonderseed from the Poplin at the end, your character will spray them with water, cause their flower to bloom and a rainbow appears ♥
Noticed that on the first or second level and absolutely loved it. I wish the other power ups did something similar at the end...

In Beware of the Rifts, during the wonder flower segment, hitting the giant pow block will also damage the background giant mushrooms.
5:39 if you listen to the music you will listen to a snippet of a Sm3dw song
A fun talking flower moment I found was in Gnawsher Lair. Simple stop at the talking flower right before the goal, head to the goal but don't touch it, then head back to the flower.
heres another thing, at the start of dragon boneyard the flower says to watch your step, if you jump in the lava the flower says "Well then"
That happens with a lot of flowers, it's a cool detail
Possibly my favorite detail of SMBW is the music that plays on those multi-level challenge stages--both the start and level completion are arrangements of the OG Mario Bros arcade sounds. It made my inner child very happy.
those are called KO arenas
No, those are different@@turtleturtleturtleturtle
@@mgames3209 No they aren't...
@@albond oh wait I think I was thinking of something else…
yeah man the new mario bros arrangement sounds pretty catchy too. i liked that detail as well
It really reminds me of Rayman Origins
Especially the "dynamic stance" thing
I found Another detail in the Rolling-Ball hall! After touching the wonder flower and getting to the end of the spike ball part, there’s a flower ( the same flower seen on the end at this part 5:12 ) if you stand next to him for 30 seconds without doing anything, he’ll say something like ‘spacing out is nice too’ or he’ll say something about you being tired
I just replayed the world and I stood next to him again and he said: ‘ACHOO’ ‘am I allergic… to me?!
All the flowers say that when you stand next to them for a minute
@@tate9952Ooooohhh really? That’s so cool! I’ll have to try it out with another one
while taking the secret exit for Piranha Plants on Parade, you can see that behind the Poplin house, there’s a pipe formation that looks just like the one you enter at the start of 1-2 in the original Mario Bros game
Another cool Easter egg is when you pause the game during a level, it makes the same chime it did when you paused in the original Mario bros!
The Invisibility Badge has a weakness to Light
Well the whole concept of being invisible is that you're reflecting all light
That was in the video
not just any light, only the light that makes invisible blocks visible.
@@Tobunari No, that's just being white, to be invisible you need refraction
I never try the invisibe badge because idm wtf im doing 😒
about #14 - You can do the same thing with the grappling vine too. Im suprised it works with the parachute cap as well. Maybe there are more badges that work the same way!
It is sort of ironic that one of the few movement-based badges that doesn't give you infinite wall jumps... is the Wall Jump badge. ^^;
Yeah but one of the badge challenges actually has you do this unlike with the badges mentioned in the video
This game is very Nice. Thanks man
I love how much personality the goombas have in this game!
Missed one: the airship theme is a metal remix of the SMM SMD airship theme
Speedruns boutta go crazy with #4
The infinite 1-Up trick at 4:00 was possible way back in Super Mario Bros. 1. I can’t remember offhand which level, but I remember reading in a (printed book!) guide that there was a spot where you encounter a koopa on a staircase that you can pin it against a wall and farm it for infinite lives.
The smb mix is a really nice touch to make the level a bit more unique
Bro forgot about Grappling Vine Wall-Climbing 💀
The mechanic is even use in the Final-Final Test.
The animation detail reminds me a bit of Sonic's Genesis games.
Particularly with having animation differences be the main tell for speed, and having ledge animations.
Yoshi's Island might have had some of those as well.
This game is awesome. I just wish it was longer. I need DLC!
I wish it was in SMM2 😅
Hopefully SMM3! @@sebastianperez4461
It did feel short even after 100% it.
Sad but true. It wish it was 2x as long. I could play this game forever! It was so fun I still feel like it was worth the money but it leaves me wanting more @@leonardovela1888
The best badge to do a one sided wall climb is grappling vine
4:40 I swear I did it unintentionally yesterday during my first playthrough and I was like wtf
1:48 or you know, just spin jump on them cuz that automatically creates bubbles in front of you.
When you look at the background on Bowser´s Blazing Beats on the Wonder Flower Part, you can see Castle Bowser doing the BAH in the background.^^
04:46 I didn’t even know there was another way to break that barrier! That explains the comment from the flower about doing things in a certain order. I was really confused by that comment when I played that level.
Also, on Triple Threat Deluge, if we get the first Wonder Seed, then come back to the start by bouncing on the bumpers without the Wonder effect, we can get to the small pipes section and hit 3 hidden invisible blocks each containing a 1-UP mushroom. Y'all should check this out!
Also, if it's said in another video from Looygi, please tell me!
These videos are so nice.
Thanks, glad you like them ^^
At N.10, I did notice the first part, but not the second. Very nice.
Fun fact: If you Equip the Wall Climb Badge, You'll Be Able to wall climb once, BUT WAIT, read 'til the end. You can Wall Climb Once IF you do a normal wall jump, HOWEVER, if you instead use the R Button or the ZR Button (a.k.a the spin jump buttons), you can Wall Jump off as if you were not using the badge, difference being you wall jump while spinning. This is a thing you can normally do and exists since New Super Mario Wii if my memory's not failing me. Which if it is then probably New Super Mario Bros U. However, doing this allows you to Store your Wall Climb Usage! So if you want to use the wall climb in a place where you think you cannot reach without using it, you can try to Spin Wall Jump, then Wall Climb! A few things to note about Spin Wall Jumping is that when you do that, if you go to a wall, you'll fall. Don't Worry! You can still Spin Wall Jump as long as you have walls! It's just that Mario, or whatever character you are playing as, is programmed to only slide of walls when in the normal falling state (a.k.a Falling without the Spinning), you can make your character Wall Spin Jump and still be able to slide tough, you just gotta spin mid air! Then you'll fal normally.
Why do you capitalize random words?
@@Gnarfledarf I don't know. Just a habit honestly.
Yoshi actually does it with the Melon Plants. I knew it
Love your Videos❤❤❤
I'm glad nintendo thought of the barrier being broken beforehand. Botw does not have that planning.
It's funny to get stasis+ before you actually get the ability. :)
How get stasis + when it's not possible to leave the Plateau without the ability
@@mateus53415I subscribed to your RUclips channel
@@mateus53415breaking the game in ways that i can't explain
Well there's a difference between using intended features to sequence break and use glitches to skip the most important part of the game
4:45 I did that the first time I played that course. Funny enough, it's because I saw an online shadow going through there. Looking back they were probably in the wonder seed effect
You make the best videos ⭐️
Thank you Leesa ❤️
"you have to do things in a certain order"
nonzero chance of this making a child cry, meaning NoA's localisers are doomed to work the acid mines for ten years

That intro ate
Nice video.

“Amazing meatball!”
Lol yeah
il love new koopas walking on the wall.
they really tried to make the 1-up trick harder. there are now 2 different bounce heights for kicking and stopping a Koopa shell. now you have to actively jump for each (or every other) 1up. Previous games allowed to set the combo up and then grab a coffee.
YIPEE! A NEW LOOIGI BROS VID
Heh I actually discovered the sequence break on on my own. Fun stuff
Im still dancing to the yoshi's island music
you can also infinitely climb walls with Grappling Vine badge
Look! A cool video! 😎
0:12 I like calling them clodsire
Another cool detail is when you are transformed in a goomba. If you move the stick your Goombas eyes will move in the direction. If you are using a D-Pad its in 8 and if you are using a stick 360 degrees. Really cool detail
Speed runners are going to have a field day 😮
You Can do a spinjump to make the bubble jump easier
Luigi:here we go!
7:39 funny, times game "Megaman X" jump on wall
4:28 its actually rolling ball hall not rolling hall ball
ahah yeah, of course. Sorry 😅
🤓
@@Molten2004 i forgot to add the nerd emoji to my sentence lmao
actual 3rd: this game is so charming!
So retro😊
3:15 Mario 3 vibes
this game is awesome
1:50 well that's the end of the bubble power in future games; definitely a cool trick though, would have made that specific bonus level way easier than the normal way. I hope they do keep the art style though, it's really good on the characters!
It's definitely intended giving the fact they advertised the bubbles being used as platforms despite that never being needed in game and the fact this trick only works when moving at top speed which is too much of a coincidence if it wasn't intentional.

Mario
OK.
You came up with a Boss before Nintendo did aka the first one you showed off
Ok
I haven’t seen that intro before. When did you make it? And why’d you get rid of “gaming”?
Anyway, about the game’s details, The Maw Maw actually can’t tolerate fireballs, as they spit them right out. Yoshi’s face spitting the seeds looks even dumber than his resting face with something in his mouth. And the Jet Run Badge doesn’t make a difference with one-sided wall jumps, because you lose your momentum when you run into a wall, you only go fast on surfaces.
