    I never would have expected other enemies to have a special animation for being stuck, especially since you have to go out of your way to get them in that situation.

    7:31 I wonder if these were alternate versions of the character specific blocks in the final game. It's red to match Mario and disappears pretty quickly, but maybe thats just how you have to find them and it still opens when Mario touches it.

    Fun Fact: The color of those buds and wonder flowers change based on the color of the wonder seeds in said level thus meaning that at some point in development the color of the buds in that level were red.

    It's a testament to something that you're still practically making a healthy career out of pointing out all the fun little details and nuances of the engine. SMBW is truly special and clearly lots of love and care went into this game.

    THe balancing animations as the elephant power look like Sonic's balancing animations. To be honest Nintendo doing that could be a clapback at SEGA for using a Mario-like jump during the victory animation for Sonic when he beats a level in Sonic Mania, but idk.

      To be fair Mario Wonder was made with charm regarding innovation and revival for 2D Mario, and Sonic Superstars is just “another classic sonic game”, and is “made to compete” with Wonder, So Nintendo had every right to brag with that Sonic balance animation.

    3:16 No, that’s not what happens, Woohoo! Is his default text if you don’t collect all of the blue coins he will still say Woohoo! He only says a text if triggered by the wonder seed, but they forgot to remove that text I guess
