Nice, I have a 2002 Trans AM. I did something a little different, I went with the chrome C6 wheels(staggered 18F 19R). I purchased my tires from American Tire. I went with the Michelin Pilot Sport S 4, non-run flats. They look awesome and the ride is smooth.

I have a 1999 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. I have had it since 1999. It was 8 months old when I bought it from the original owner. My car has the original rims, but the original owner took the 17 inch chrome rims option from the factory. i drove the car to work when I lived in Baltimore. I now live in North Carolina and I cannot find a place that will chrome plate the old rims. I guess I will be getting new rims. I hate to take the original rims off, but they look bad now.

Yep, I feel the same. There are folks that will restore those rims but it will not be cheap. You might find some on eBay. Thank you for watching.

I have a 96 WS6 also White, for a moment I thought that was my car in the video 😄... I got the American torque thrust ll's.. 17×9.5's out front 17x11s out back.. The wider tires out back sure made a difference. I have no problems planting 460rwhp to the pavement.. if one decides to go 11s out back I highly recommend upgrading the subframe connectors and torque arms.

The roads in Dallas are terrible. I would like to find some higher profile tires that will fit and soak up some of the shock better than the stock size.

I have a 1998 Camaro Z-28 convertible that is in bad need of new wheels. The ones it came with aren’t my favorite and they were silver and painted. They weren’t cared for greatly and are rough and stained bad. Would the same measurements work for it? I was hoping to move up to 18s but don’t know what I’d have to do there for fitment.

They shot you a load of crap. I have a 99 and have 18x9.5 54 mm offset. 275 40 18 tires and don’t scrub at all.

I didn't want a 18" tire so we didn't consider anything in that size. Thanks for the comment and for watching.

The spacing on the rims when you add the seventeens or incorrect because the WS6 is and transams came with 17 by 9 your update does look good though.... Whoever measured the 1st set of rims to fit your car didn't know what the h*** they're doing
