Yes, you can see the channel liner has been replaced on this model with the sleeve that fits around the striker. It is a channel liner of sorts, just not semi-permanently inserted like the previous models of Glock.
It depends on the model. A general rule of thumb is that there are a lot of parts that are interchangeable, if it is a similar design. (For example, the striker, trigger, and safties in the G42, G43, G43x, and G48 are I think the same factory specs) best way to figure it out is to do some research and ask your local armoror.
