The Story of Zusha | Meaningful People #25

- Опубликовано: 25 окт 2020
- Throughout the years, Zusha has gone through numerous phases of self-discovery and creative experimentation. The band itself, led by singer Shlomo Gaisin and guitarist Zacharia Goldschmiedt, is appropriately named after an iconoclastic 18th-century Hasidic master, whose teachings of radical humility and irrepressible positivity resonate deeply with the duo.
With their lamplighting message of personal honesty and spiritual authenticity, Zusha seeks to sing the world awake. In their own words, their music is meant to inspire each and every person to: Be yourself, no one else can.

I think what’s amazing also is that Zusha provides for Baalei Teshuva the sounds of the music that they used to love but don’t want to listen to anymore. I felt genuine relief when I first heard Zusha. I felt such relief that I can listen to the sounds and style of the music I loved (literally all the artists they mentioned) but have it be holy and meaningful. Music is a big part of one’s identity so I felt like I didn’t have to give up everything of myself anymore. I could find myself within Yiddishkeit also through music that I love.
So true.
"I gotta say Mincha so... But you guys keep going" lol. That's awesome. Good for him.
Also, it was actually singing to myself Zusha‘a version of Ani Maamin over and over again because I loved it so much that made me realize I really did believe in moshiach.
These 2 kind Chasidim combine 2 Super Important aspects of my life- Jewish Music & Spirituality. Glad to be better introduced to them. Thank You!!🙏🙏
Zusha caught my attention immediately as they expressed their devotion to Hashem and the desire to have a meaningful life. Wow!! What an awesome opening to an extraordinary interview. Of course, their music is very beautiful. Thank you for having them!
My favorite musicians. Zusha.
Zusha is the best BAND❤️💫⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I think it would be amazing if you had Dov Ber Pinson on the podcast. There’s so much attention on him in this episode, so hearing him and learning about him/his Torah on the podcast would be such an interesting experience.
HaShem is great 😢 that He would put His music in to these two young men ..This reminds me of the last two weeks Parasha where Bezaleil and Olab are annointed to build the Mishka as HaShem has annointed these two to bless those in the mishka. ...Love Elijah

Great to hear more of the background of Zusha!
However I think it's quite nonchalant and disrespectful to be making a fuzz about his height, not cool.
Hi Samuel, thanks for the feedback! Woah, absolutely not making fun of height. Sorry if it comes off that way. Not at all the situation.
Comments on people’s physical appearance so not cool.
