Just curious why the host was using a 8x scope for targets like 20 yards away? He was absolutely amazing but genuine question.

Real life: Buy a good, sturdy gun made to last and lets you know that you even have it on you. Hard trigger, hardest hitting rounds!
3gun: Light gun, light trigger, tight tolerances, lighter slides with a softer spring and match-grade bullets that have enough power to just cycle the action. Lol.
Oh and dont forget to slap a 3000 dollar markup and call it a "competition grade" firearm.
The excellent commentary really made this video interesting. The personal background and the play by play made me want to keep watching. In fact even as I spent the time writing this comment I enjoyed listening to what was happening in the video without even watching! Haha

atown7587 safariland has a wide assortment. Their belt is top notch. The E.L.S is nice to add and remove gear for certain stages. Shooters connection is a good place to look also. OpticsPlanet is OK but watch the descriptions and shipping times are horrible

i wanna do this so bad but have no experience. i dont even know how to join one of these matches or clubs etc. hell i haven't even shot my ruger ar 556 yet. 😭😭😭😭 lol
Go to 3 gun nations website and search for clubs near you. Find a match or two to just go watch and meet people. Practice, practice, practice, even in your home you can practice mag changes. Find a pistol and shotgun new or used and have fun. I'm getting into it myself and don't have the best gear but I'm having fun.

do they use light ammo so it kicks less ?
All ammunition must be loaded to a minimum power factor, which is more or less in line with "practice" ammo rather than self defense rounds, and reduced recoil slugs and buck are common, but most of it is trigger time to learn to handle recoil, and the rifles are all running compensators, as well as the open(unlimited) division pistols and shotguns.

Apparently all you need to participate is lots of time, lots of money, and not live where I do. Too many restrictions. I could maybe do two gun with shotgun and pistol. Maybe.

Probably cross dominant. I'm a righty but left eye dominant, so I shoot rifle and shotgun lefty.
Some people are right hand or left handed but are right eye or left eye dominant, I'm a right hand but i shoot left handed cus I'm left eye domiannt
