I am rather old and female...many years ago I was a top woman archer in the Society of Creative Anacronism and I used a medieval bow and extra long arrows to shoot at 100 yards as if in the Middle Ages. There is a technique for this sort of shooting. Some recreators online post videos of these old style bows and extra long arrows with armor punching tips that are much bigger than modern arrows...You don't need all the fancy dancy stuff to shoot accurately at great distances.

I like it. Been a long time since i shot in a 3rd tournament. The added pressure of the steel challenge at the end was always my stress. This seems like a fairly fun way to try harder amongst a few buddies.

The lady shooter champ put some scoring rings on the iron elk and shoot one legged-bare bow-after a bunch of jumping jacks-opposite handed etc would be fun to watch crazy archery shoot and make everyone dress up that would be deadly
I shot a bow for the first time ever yesterday. A Hoyt I bought from a friend. Less than 25 shots ever and I was shooting groups at over 50 yards slightly downhill. I thought bow hunting was hard but honestly shooting a pistol at distance is probably more challenging.

i’m curious what sights you guys are all running? i use a G5 and i love it chris bees looks real adjustable anyone know what he’s running? i had the garmin xero pro for a few months but i took it off, it’s an awesome product but for hunting it makes me nervous of something going wrong

When someone's trying to concentrate on the shooting...why is there so much obnoxious chatter going on. I know this is a fun shoot, but let the man Or woman concentrate. The shooter is trying to focus on the target and everybody's making all this racket talking and such. That's probably more distracting than the wind. I know again this is a fun shoot, but everything's a competition, so stop chattering. I found the chattering annoying and I wasn't even a part of the shoot. Maybe i'm wrong I don't know.
