Solo Overnight Wild Camp | Fire Pit Cooking a Moroccan Lamb Tagine

Whilst Storm Hannah is heading N/W over central U.K. some high wind speeds have been forecasted for this evening. The location for a wild camp seemed obvious as I return to the Hazel woodland I visited recently, a sheltered river tributary with Hazel, Holly and a few Pines. The ground is still damp but sandy making an ideal location for a fire pit. Firewood was damp although I found some dry punky hazel and used the last of my pine resin with some birch bark and fatwood as tinder, anything I had to hand. Then time to relax and cook a Moroccan Tamb Tagine.
