I ride a '21 RGS and really seriously considering these LP6 headlights upgrade after I complete my front fat tire kit 180x5.5x18 upgrade... When the time comes to install these LP6 headlights, I will be installing a couple of light control switches so that I can turn on & off either the amber or white headlight if there are LEOs lurking in my neck of the woods here in San Diego, CA...lol...but considering how crazy "cager" drivers are out here, if they cannot hear your you , they will at least see you especially that Amber LP6 makes it visible in the sea of white led lights on the freeway/highway... Thanks for sharing and I like that you recorded some night light tests and that is really what counts is how good are these LP6 vs the factory stock and it it worth the cost/expense...what is amazing with these LP6 lights is the great amount of wide angle lights it throws to the ground...my factory stock lights are so narrow that taking corners at night is like scary at night.
Just let them both run at once no need for a switch. Just use your high beams when you wanna be super bright. I am jealous you get to ride. Cali roads tho
Certainly seems like it’s worth the price and they look great! I just got a 2007 street glide and the first this I want to upgrade is the lighting! Halogen lights are absolutely terrible and I live in the sticks with no street lights so night riding with the original lights sucks.
I want to do more riding at night but the OE headlight sucks so bad on a 2020 Road King Special. Going to order one of these and try it out. That light is so bright it would make riding at night a no-brainer!
This is a single headlight and it is so bright, imagine on a Road Glide with two of these...my goodness it might melt whoever gets in the path of these lights...lol
I just installed the LP6 on my 2020 sporty and I’m having the same problem you are. The bottom 2 LEDs are supposed to be the low beams but when you start the bike the high beams are coming on automatically. All 6 LEDs should be on for high beam only. I’m just finding this out and calling the manufacturer of the harness used on Monday
@@deadstockflaco that's correct. A cutoff is basically the line where the light is cut off from shining. It's like an edge to the light pattern. Low beams are required to have a cutoff so you don't blind oncoming traffic. High beams often don't have a cutoff. If you're in a car and say you pull up to a gas station facing a wall, you can see an obvious line where the lights don't shine right across the top of the light pattern.
I run two of those on my Kei truck as headlights too when I did a vw bus front appearance conversion. Bright as heck!

Did you have to modify the fairing?
@johndavies6152 not at all plug and play

It took me a while to pull the trigger but when i did it was worth it forsure. I used LED bulbs at first cause the stock ones were horrible
This light is crazy bright, kinda worries me with my road glide how there is 2 of them. Can’t wait for mine to come in
I think you’ll be good ! It’s super bright but on low beam its still safe imo. You doing the same color on both or are you doing 1 amber 1 clear
@@deadstockflaco I’m doing both white light and if I don’t like it then I’ll buy a amber one and try one and one.
Neighbor: Day time exhaust night time LP6 😂
Poor neighbor😂
You're neighbors be like "Brah. Wtf.". LoL sweet lights dude!
LOL just trying to help them light up the streets 🤣thanks for watching 🙏🏾

Honestly wasn’t expecting it to make that much of a difference it really did worth the money even if it’s a little pricey

Yes it’s super bright I can’t lie two on high beam has to be nuts
That's a nice looking bike!
Great video! I was looking at the light and saw an amber version. Any info on this one as to which is better?
Same output just color difference you can always change the color of the lense later tho
That’s freakin bright! 😎⚡️🤙

I don’t remember but my light worked fine while I had it
👍👍👍👍👍
The LP6 is by far superior to the OEM light. It's worth the price if you ride at night.
100 percent worked out good for me
is it too bright for oncoming traffic?
No I DoNt think so no one flashes their lights as me since I had it
What kit? Prior?
Yes prior
Where do I order it from..
Prior performance
How was the install?
Pretty straight forward not hard at all just have to remove the tank to run the wires to the batter y
Looks like it has no cutoff though...
Not sure wym like the spread doesn’t stop ?
Yea I was trynna see if there was
I looked up what you guys are talking about not going that light just goes everywhere
@@deadstockflaco thanks I’ma try to park in front of a wall & point the lights down to see if it helps

Is it legal?
Yes
I’m not trying to blind people haha
It’s not that crazy 🤣🤣 high is really bright tho
Bro your low beam is not street legal. You are blinding oncoming traffic.
It’s wasnt that bright tbh brighter then stock for sure but not blinding bright
@deadstockflaco not talking about brightness. I am talking about a horizontal cut off line in the beam pattern.
@@franzschreiber1646 oh yea it does have a wide spread
