- This video is aimed at intermediate level to explain how to practice a dodging back kick against an advancing opponent.
This is the second video in the series on sparring drills, where I suggest practice drills to improve sparring techniques, combinations, strategies, footwork etc. The sparring drills are mainly focussed on Taekwon-Do free-sparring but can also be used for kickboxing or any similar martial art.
Presented by GM Donato Nardizzi

Disclaimer :
I recognise Grand Master General Choi Hong Hi as the true authority on Taekwon-Do. The information in my videos is based on my interpretation of Taekwon-Do as taught to me by the Founder General Choi Hong Hi and as referred to in his book ‘TAEKWON-DO’ (5th Edition 1999) Published by ITF and printed in Canada.
Other Taekwon-Do Masters and Grand Masters may have a different interpretation of Taekwon-Do theory and practice, so if you are a Taekwon-Do student, it is important to check with your instructor if you are not sure about which interpretation you should be following. Спорт
You teach and carry out the kicks as a true master! Thank you!
I have to say the switch back kick has been one of the most revolutionary changes in sparring technique for ITF TKD. If I remember it was the Polish and Argentinian teams that really popularised and perfected this as a technique. Really nice video :)
Thanks. Can you add in the next videos after presenting the drill to add some practical combinations?
Thanks for your videos!!I've learned a lot watching them. Kind regards from Uruguay
