Donalto! Thanks ffor your extra lessons on top of my lessons and in wing chun, from Ian Qld Australia, Kepp up the great work, Bruce Lee would be proud to have met you.. Cheers
Hello GM Nardizzi, I have a question: How do you name this technique using Korean terminology? I can't seem to find this one in the Encyclopedia. My instructors use something like "tora rejong", but I don't think it is correct. They also use this term, "tora", to describe any technique that involves spinning, like the bandae dollyo chagi, they say "tora dollyo". Thank you very much in advance, Taekkwon!
In ITF terminology it is called Twimyo Dollyo Chagi - Flying Turning Kick. The Taekwon-Do encyclopedia does not give any formal name for the amount of spin. WT Taekwon-Do may use special names for 360 degree spinning kicks but I am an ITF practitioner so I don't know for sure.
Fantastic Tutorial
That was brilliant kicking, I've been trying to achieve this kick, thanks for the tip about spinning around first, this could be the solution for me.
Thats the point with good teacher, they come the important point. Saves time like anything. You Tube is lovey.

Sometimes when I do this for a headshot I don't turn my knee out enough and it becomes a crescent kick. Still lands but not what I intend lol
I can just aviyt do this, mad thing is 20 years ago flying kicks were among my best moves, but now I'm older and less supple.
