Unscripted With Matt Crane

- In this episode, we had planned on interviewing Matt Crane, author of "Eden's Fate" and Final Fight Bible Radio host. However, as we were doing a routine sound check, our conversation took an interesting turn towards the topic of modern Christianity, with a focus on the independent fundamental Baptist church, the end times, and other relevant issues. While we look forward to having Matt Crane return to discuss his book in detail, we hope you will appreciate this unscripted and authentic dialogue that unfolded unexpectedly.

I want to thank both of you Godly gentlemen for sharing this video. These are a lot of questions I have had and things I've thought about. I've felt completely suffocated in the past by having to follow certain rules, doing things to please men rather than God. I really learned a lot about what you're talking about from Watchman Nee's Sit Walk Stand based on Ephesians. We need to focus on who we are in Christ and "sit" in the knowledge and understanding of this glorious truth. Thank you, so grateful for you both.
I’m only a half hour into it. This is so good one of the best interviews so far, and so much truth with the state and standing. I will have to finish it up after work. Thank you I always look forward to your soul trap and messages. I’ve been listening to Matt Crane for quite a few years
Wow. First time ever listening to Matt Crane. I had a preconceived negative view of this brother due to an old friend who's been subverted into the Ruckman dispensationalism who began to uplift these commentaries higher than the person of Christ, the Spirit etc. I am happy to learn that Matt's spirit is nothing what I had perceived him to had. I'm glad I watched this video.
Keep up this great work of exposing these faults within the Baptist side of the camp, to help reignite the love of Christ.
Five minutes in and best show ever. Putting on Paul's glasses to really understand the grace God has given us in Christ Jesus and the new creature we are in Jesus
The most interesting thing Matt Crane noted was that the Laodicean church was a church that was rich, not persecuted. Hmm.
Rightly divided. A peace maker without the true Prince of Peace.
This was a great interview to watch. So much for me to chew on, I got a lot of help.
Tying to finish this before church, need to get ready to go praise my God. Love this ... God Bless you both for doing this. ❤🙏
Very interesting conversation. I subscribe to Matt too. He's a great Bible teacher imo.
👏👏👏 This conversation was so good. I will listen to this again! I have since repented of the belief of cessationism because it does limit the Holy Spirit. He can move how He wants.
Thank you for this, enjoyed!
I think this video was very good and edifying this is why i love this channel keep up the good work guys
I’m reminded that the Pharisees had the right Bible and even the right doctrinal interpretation of many passages, and they were obsessed with “doing more”, which desire was not wrong in itself, but
Matthew 23:23
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
Galatians 3:5-6
For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
You have given me some new things to think about. We are commanded to study but it has been something that has bothered me for a while, when we "study" are we missing the personal love letter sent to us from The Lord?
This is such a great episode!
I think this is what Paul had in mind here:
1 Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
Great conversation! Amen brothers!
Very insightful. Thank you both for sharing your thoughts.
Yes, be a vessel for God to work through
I enjoyed this interview w/ bro. Crane very much. It gave practical insight and struggles that true bible believers are and need to face. While also going into the soul trap topics. Cheifs kiss!
1:17:00 so true, dispensations overlap the best way to rightly divide or one of the best is by covenants.
This is so good!
Awesome conversation.
Great interview.
Great stuff!
Watching from Citrus Springs, Florida.
Well, I for one totally agree with everything you have said.
I have about 30 minutes left. I was just reading the comments. Pastor Joel was correct. Well, let me tell you I am a King James only rightly dividing dispensationalist Ruckmanite 🤷🏻♂️😂 but I agree with brother Matt 100% on this, some of these people on the comments need to read Proverbs 6:19 a few more times. Brother Matt can’t even be closely compared with a Nathan Cravatt. 😂
Matt Crane's pastor im assuming got his interpretation from Michael Heiser from his books Unseen Realm and Reversing Hermon.
Amazing books.
One thing I really don't agree with bro Matt's point of view is:
If you see the churches that are not in the US specifically, there was no prosperity but under very cruel persecution, i.e. churches in middle east, in China, etc. What I learn from the book of Revelation 2 & 3 is, it is never a simple one-fold application of the sever letters to the seven churches.
They are early time seven churches, they are also seven church ages, and they are seven kinds of churches throughout the entire church age as well.
Please don't try to cause confusion mixing the doctrinal application and the spiritual application together, doctrinally, it is always dispensational, otherwise you will get a lot of heretics, that's the reason in the seminary we are always taught to be dividing the word of truth doctrinally. But spiritually, we are able to be benefitting from all the Bible, even from what Jesus was teaching the Jews too. It is not conflicting.
We have to avoid such simple-minded thinking, especially in the spiritually perilous times like today.
Doctrinally, we are saved by grace of God through faith only, regardless of what we do, but we are still going through the judgment seat of Jesus Christ when we are raptured to the heaven, based on what we did.
Again, thank you both for this interview, you are still brothers.
Watching from Idaho Falls.
Hello there!
Wouldn't that be an ultimate test of the heart?
Minnesota here
That's interesting!
New Hampshire here
John 13-17 is given in the future tense, it is Jesus forecasting doctrine for the Church Age.
Wow!
Yes, I questioned it and got cut off like a hot potato.
1:24:35 Amen
I was just in a BBBaptist church for a year...it took me the whole year to figure out exactly what you just said here. It's works, a yoke and performance makes you right..and yes, you suck. And make sure you're there every time the door opens or you aren't right with God. Nothing was spirit led or compassionate. If that had been the first place I went when I got saved, I never would have made it.
1:07:47 Amen I agree
Yes!! They were all ready to fight with their verses! There was no relationship with God or other Christians!!
Something is definitely missing
1:18:37 😂👍
Crane needs to fix his beef with Donovan.
That’s on Donovan. He alienated himself from Dr Grady and James Melton too
@@fordhughesBrother, can you direct me to any source whereby I might get insight regarding the alienation you reference? Thank you.
@@sidrow11 James Melton stated on Facebook that the BBB would no longer carry his materials because he is too hard on repentance. Dr Grady stated that the BBB refused to carry his new book because it was “too political.” Similar reason why they don’t carry Matt Cranes stuff too I’m sure. I guess they are just kinda wanting an echo chamber down there now
Great stuff!!!
