The Blurry Boys!
When the Bible tells us that, in the end times, that our knowledge would be increased, it wasn't playing!! I'm a 53 year old woman who has put all my trust in the one true God at a very young age, and not until 2017 ever even imagined these things. I'm so grateful to have been made for a generation like this!! So exciting!!

These topics need to be discussed in the church more! It enhances the gospel and puts all the puzzle pieces together. Yes, some things may be speculation but it still makes total sense. I feel like the devil has done a really great job of using people to erase our true history. People are waking up to the truth finally.
Sealed unto the time of the end comes to mind. For those who are willing GOD will reveal. Also another phrase comes to mind "my people perish from lack of knowledge". These are the last days and yes we can't know the day nor the hour but we can know the time of the season.. All things are being revealed I believe and mankind has no excuse.

A blurry church? No. Focus must always and first be on Jesus, Creator of the universe.

If a person's standard for Good is something other than God's Holiness, you'll have more trouble with the hard passages of scripture (the Flood, invasion of Canaan, etc.)
If you look at it from the POV of God who is the Standard for Good- then the question isn't "Why did he kill those people," but rather, "Why does he spare us?"
The word "sin" (to miss the mark) loses its meaning when you don't interpret it in light of what the "mark" is - that is, God's Holiness.
A need to know applies with God too. If God wills it then he will let us know. Otherwise I agree, read your bible and keep it moving.
You mention Hugh Ross (OEC). Are you aware of Tim Chaffey, a young earth creationist who has written on the Nephillim?
Chaffey is a content creator for the Ark Encounter and Answers in Genesis.
Also, at the Ark, is a reference to the giants who were on the earth at the time of the flood.
