In the early development of the Gen 1 Animated Series, the creators didn't need to think that indepth about the origins on Cybertronians. However Gen 1 did explain why there aren't as many female Cybertronians. It was brief, and as kids if we really needed to know, that's all we needed to know. To paraphrase Megatron, he explains that Cybertronian females that were Autobots targeted in an extinction mission. If Autobots couldn't reproduce, their numbers would count for nothing as their wars on Cybertron progressed. Decepticon females died as casualties of war, and the few that remained fled Cybertron, so neither side could reproduce effecively. As for reproduction: All theories presented in the video from the cartoons, comics, stories, and movies make some sense. However, try this: The One is Vector Sigma (as he says "Before Cybertron was, I was."). Vector Sigma was an AI created by an alien race (that's the real mystery). Vector Sigma creates The Prime, and Unicron. Unicron leaves. The Prime creates the 13 Primes, Vector Sigma imbues them with life, and together they build Cybertron around Vector Sigma. In the construction of Cybertron, The 13 Primes create the means for proto-form Cybertronian replication (a self sustaining robot factory). When Cybertronian males and females want to experience parenthood, they will give a piece of their all-spark, each (containing both of their CNA), to a dormant proto-form in a pod. The pod "Hatches", however the new Cybertronian has no independant thought or self until Vector Sigma imbues them with life. The dormant Cybertronian will develop a personality based on Vector Sigma's AI kickstart, and the CNA of the parents. Meanwhile, the Quintessons (a Cybertronian mutation) essentially evolved and infested in Cybertron like a virus. They found a means to control the production of Cybertronians, and used it to make a quick buck by selling them as slaves and soldiers. This spread, as uncontrolled infections do, creating the Autobot and Decepticon factions. And the rest is history.
The scene you're using from Rise of the Fallen is NOT the hatchling scene. Those kitchen appliances were turned into full transformers, they were just small due to the size of the machines they were made from. The hatchlings scene is only ONE scene showing Starscream explaining to Megatron that without more energon, "the hatchlings just keep dieing." Those hatchlings weren't yet transforming, as they hadn't scanned a machine (like Bumblebee did in the first movie to change his car type when Mikaela called him a piece of crap camero)
@@JayFlyer5929 You can be made to bread. Like God creating Man, or Man creating monsters in Jurassic Park. Lockdown's line could simply just mean that the Primes were built, but the race of Transformers can in fact "bread" like is shown with the hatch-lings.

THat's for me half the fun of discovering a new Transformers universe, is finding that universe's origins for the race. In all universe Primus has some hand in creating the Transformers, whether they were made products of robots by the QUintessons or naturally born of the metal of Cybertron, Primus in some way is always the one who give them Sparks that allow them to live and be a sentient species.
In my personal head canon, that thumbnail says it all. Maybe people with an insanely specific kink would prefer a bit more in the detail department, but it's quite succinct and amusing enough for me.😂😂
I don't know where I read this so take it with a grain of salt, but I read (Somewhere) that the way "sexual" or two bot reproduction worked was that each partner shares a part of their spark in order to create a completely new spark. The new spark still needs to grow a body in the spark fields, or be inserted into a new constructed-cold body, but it would be a new spark that did not need to be created by Primus himself.
The UK comics told us explicitly that the Transformers we knew were directly created by Primus to defend the Matrix. If I’m not mistaken, I saw a video where in the comics they were literally born of the blood of primus and unicron. They have an asexual reproductive cycle similar to budding or splitting
Yah that's one method that happens. By default just assume that somehow Transformers are formed from the living metal of CYbertron and the Allspark sends them a Spark to become alive.
It's this being known as (The One) who created the all spark cube & both Unicron & Primus. Batteries Not Included, (1987) is a great example of Transformers procreating next-gen progeny, who must later acquire further materials to sequester as body-mass; each little sphere then suffices to allocate material to increase its own chassis-mass, developing a battery of weapons suited to its size, accoutrements of tools, and a reproduction routine.
The thing that made the transformers was that 3 face thing. It was the thing that made prime come back to life in the cartoon and save them from the metal eating virus. And the guy that came up with the transformers also said who made them. So you just need to look alittle bit more and you can find out everything. I’m close to 50 years old and remember when the cartoon first came out. I don’t remember every show but I remember the ones that had a hit in the show. But keep doing what you’re doing it’s great and I enjoy watching.
The transfomers were created by Quintessons, Not Quintessa or Quintessence!!! Quintessa is a villain from the live action movie who's species are Quintessons. A simple google search could've easily provided you with the correct information.
Yep, the Autobots were the slave labor force and the Deceptions were their military line. Primacron created Unicron as a doomsday device and Primus didn't exist. Cybertron was just a production factory with Vector Sigma being the computer to program the newly produced robots.
If we climbed out of pg13 and went full adult, I would say we eventually created them which also was our demise, and add that humans naturally evolve on multiple planet's. this could work.
All outcomes are possible in the Transformer Multiverse. Like the Power Rangers, most Rangers who didn't get their powers from Zordon were from different realities. Hence the show with nothing but Red Rangers, or the final show with all the Rangers. Personally, I'd like to see an animated movie with every version of Optimus Prime, including the one off T-shirt of the TARDIS morphing into Prime. Consider if you will...Optimus Prime (tractor (G1) and fire engine), Optimus Primal, and "Tardimus" Prime.
An explanation for why all bots created from the All Spark energy on Earth in the live action movies are Decepticons or "evil" is that they say that microchips and tech in general were advanced by studying Megatron's body. So all Earth tech is basically Decepticon tech and will be evil when animated.
The 80's cartoons actually did say who their creator was actually, and also why they were created. They probably change it now though, way too many reboots.
Despite being a little kid I never really understood the comic version's origin story. I preferred the cartoon version, at least until they introduce Primacron. There is a reason for their transformation ability in the cartoon as well as a struggle for freedom, whereas the comic, while very imaginative, is really kind of airy-fairy metaphysical and doesn't take advantage of the transformation aspect or the sci fi elements of the story.
So if im understanding this right, Atechnogenesis occurred from machines while performing their functions just one day became alive? The only way I can see this happening is if for example machines in something like an automobile factory had integrated Ai in them and then one day the factory became sentient and started making robots instead of automobiles. This doesn't really answer the question of where transformers came from because we don't know who created the machines that triggered atechnogenesis. Its just another "organic civilization F's around with Ai and finds out" story.
I don't think you quite understand it. If you follow atechnogenesis, then no one "Created" them. It's just the spontaneous formation of life in machines from inorganic material. So machines from wherever just one day spontaneously formed into life and evolved into transformers over time. If you believe this theory that is.
@@williamstellmon7565 yeah it just sounds like something is coming from nothing. Like a giant sentient robot came from tools and other simple machines rubbing against each other over long periods of time.
@@williamstellmon7565 It was long thought to be the theory but it's largely been turned into a myth. But in comic book logic, I see nothing wrong with life spontaneously arising in machine parts.
my head cannon is that the Transformers are linked to cybertron and send there memory back home losing it, this is the only way to get through plot holes for me
It’s crazy how they can feel breathe eat etc. they are autonomous metallic organisms so not necessarily a robot it’s just weird how we don’t know how they are created or born. In the movies there were eggs, then we get told they are built and now I just don’t know
If you're looking solely at the live action movies, it's not really as confusing as you think. Yes, there's a Cube that can be used to give energon to machines, turning them into Transformers. That doesn't mean it's the only possible way more Transformers are made/born. The hatchlings in T2 are not explored further than they need energon to live outside of the egg. It didn't tell us where, when, or how the eggs were made. It's possible they were engineered to be an alternative way to reproduce (we humans have already been working on artificial wombs and using stem cell research to reproduce asexually..science) In T4 Lockdown tells Prime that he was made...because the evil Quintessa told him so. Quintessa was also called "the great deceiver" by the other Knights, so her claim of creating the Allspark is not confirmed to be true.
So basically, do you know how the ornament on a rolls royce car can conceal and reveal itself when locked? Yeah, so one woman decided it was a good idea to unlock the car while sitting on the bonnet. Nine months later, the first transformer was created
In the live action they said that allspark were the reason they born...but in last knight they said that quintessa made the knights and also prime...so in movie maybe both can be canon
lol. they used both canons. quintessons was how i first learned from the old show. but then going deeper into the lore i prefer the retcon of all spark and primus being the source of the transformers race.
I think a race of organic guns and trucks driven by transcendence disembodied their conciousness. Combined with the the all spark can gain grasp over matter. If they wanted they could probably embody a bag of pretzals but seriously would you rather transform into that or a pistol sending an FU to conservation of mass?
Every civilization has it's own creation myths and actual creation. I believe the story of primus and unicron being the creations of some higher being and then cybertron creating the transformers is their creation myth/religion while the Quintessans are the actual creators of Cybertron, Unicron, and the Transformers. In most stories that reference them, they talk about how they created the transformers as a sort of mechanical slaves not too dissimilar to us creating and using machines for things except ours aren't sentient...yet....Think of how Earth has creationism and the many religions that follow and evolution.
I wish the transformers would just stick to the lore and stop changing it, first movie when they land on earth they look way different but as it goes on they have earth themed forms when on thier home world.
Their creation is associated with the creation of the Borg. Also... Les claypool created Primus which created more transformers. Winona's big brown beaver was actually part of transformer's beast wars. Lol
yeah i dont think there is one answer i like to think that the allspark could create them and transformers can have offspring of their own but not sure between by building or having them "born". And they start as like a young one or kid I find it odd for a species just to be born/built to be an adult as soon as they come alive.
06:06 religious?! No, that's exactly the opposite, the atechnogenesis origin is akin the Natural Selection. It's the Primus/Unicron origin story that's the religious version.
Wrong with statement made about not having an origin in original cartoon. There is an episode where they go into great deal of how they came into being.
Anybody else ever read the *Live Wire* story arc? It’s an amazing trilogy of novels that cover (obviously) the war between the Autobots and Decepticons, but introduces a new alien species that claim to have been the creators of the first transformers; Anyway the story begins during a hardcore battle involving Optimus Prime, Megatron, and a couple others on each side and all of a sudden they (and the few hundred humans trapped inside the “battlefield” in Hong Kong) are all kidnapped and eventually forced to fight each other and/or other alien creatures in gladiator style battles! I don’t want to give the whole plot away but I highly recommend people who are into transformers content to read the trilogy because once the twists start happening the story is even better, and you would not be disappointed!!
Primus aka Cybertron created the transformers originally to take care of Cybertron while Primus was in the deep state of hibernation, it was in uk marvel comics in the 80’s therefore canon!! Although the American comics may have a different explanation
A lead writer, whose name I've forgotten, made each origin story continuity by seeing them as "interpretations". Like how Primus and Unicron existed in the astral plane didn't necessarily exclude them from being created by another being. It's a mindfuck of writing and I lost track of the continuity because it's "neither are wrong". So, I'm just happy with how the G1 comic ended before it got worse.
Simply put the Multiverse exists and all of these are true. At it's most basic the Omniverse comes to exist, an being called the One as with other Multiverse splits into 2 aspects of good (Primus) and evil (Unicron), they fight as most forces of good and evil do, and as the Mutiverse is born Primus and Univron enter it, splitting into many smaller versions of themselves, often Primus becoming Cybertron and Unicron his own body roaming the universe or the Earth forming around him as he lay dormant. Primus often uses the Matrix of Leadership carried by the Primes to dispense wisdom, the ALlspark containing the repository of a Cybertronian life or Sparks, and often a cumputer called Vector Sigma exists and acts as a conduit of some kind to comune with Primus or re-energize the Matrix, with Primus becoming Cybertron it's self or simply residing in the Core as just part of the planet, sometimes the QUintessons fully have a hand or part of a hand in creating the Transformers but it's always Primus somehow giving them true life and sentience through Sparks, fragments of his own life force. Half the fun of a new TF universe is seeing which origin it follows.

I loved that movie
The thing that made the transformers was that 3 face thing. It was the thing that made prime come back to life in the cartoon and save them from the metal eating virus. And the guy that came up with the transformers also said who made them. So you just need to look alittle bit more and you can find out everything. I’m close to 50 years old and remember when the cartoon first came out. I don’t remember every show but I remember the ones that had a hit in the show. But keep doing what you’re doing it’s great and I enjoy watching.
Thumbnail looks like a cover of heavy metal magazine.
The transfomers were created by Quintessons, Not Quintessa or Quintessence!!! Quintessa is a villain from the live action movie who's species are Quintessons.
A simple google search could've easily provided you with the correct information.
Exactly! I don't know why people can't get it. As it was explained in the G1 continuity Five faces of darkness.
It's always the thumbnail it gets me every time.
I remember i watched the dino charge show dozen times😅
Im just ready to see a transformers, G.i joe crossover.
The rock will punch metal
An explanation for why all bots created from the All Spark energy on Earth in the live action movies are Decepticons or "evil" is that they say that microchips and tech in general were advanced by studying Megatron's body. So all Earth tech is basically Decepticon tech and will be evil when animated.
So when humanity created Skynet they used old Deception tech, thus putting Terminator in the Transformers universe?
Ohh man...
Not whole the "Chicken or the egg thing again?" ....
My minds just finally only gotten over that 🥴
They were a quintesson creation. The military hardware and the consumer goods.
When a daddy bot and a mommy bot love each other very much... They do things that they can't sho in a kids cartoon😂
The 80's cartoons actually did say who their creator was actually, and also why they were created. They probably change it now though, way too many reboots.
Gay
im still confused who created them? the creators, quintessa the all spark, primus, or the all spark?
i can't take him seriously, you hear how he pronounces Quintesson
Bravo!🙏🏼
Can someone tell me what the source is for the clips featuring the classic G1 designs with the nayberse level CGI?
Despite being a little kid I never really understood the comic version's origin story. I preferred the cartoon version, at least until they introduce Primacron. There is a reason for their transformation ability in the cartoon as well as a struggle for freedom, whereas the comic, while very imaginative, is really kind of airy-fairy metaphysical and doesn't take advantage of the transformation aspect or the sci fi elements of the story.
Your research is lacking.
Atrchnogenesis is not that simple. Imagine evolution - only for machines.
@@williamstellmon7565 yeah it just sounds like something is coming from nothing. Like a giant sentient robot came from tools and other simple machines rubbing against each other over long periods of time.
@@chrisstanton70 to be fair, we don't know how they operate. Honestly, that is the theory of evolution. Sorry?
It's possible they were engineered to be an alternative way to reproduce (we humans have already been working on artificial wombs and using stem cell research to reproduce asexually..science)
In T4 Lockdown tells Prime that he was made...because the evil Quintessa told him so. Quintessa was also called "the great deceiver" by the other Knights, so her claim of creating the Allspark is not confirmed to be true.
Transformers were made by the quintessons
In the Words of Knockout " the thought of you fleshys interfacing" says a lot
Wish they made the movie about transformers origins
So basically, do you know how the ornament on a rolls royce car can conceal and reveal itself when locked? Yeah, so one woman decided it was a good idea to unlock the car while sitting on the bonnet. Nine months later, the first transformer was created
"First, there was the CUBE..." Optimus Prime
Kevin?
In the live action they said that allspark were the reason they born...but in last knight they said that quintessa made the knights and also prime...so in movie maybe both can be canon
lol. they used both canons. quintessons was how i first learned from the old show. but then going deeper into the lore i prefer the retcon
of all spark and primus being the source of the transformers race.
TLK will never be canon to me, lol.
Transformers were created so we could buy the toys !!!! Childhood with gen 1 transformer toys was LEGENDARY
I think a race of organic guns and trucks driven by transcendence disembodied their conciousness. Combined with the the all spark can gain grasp over matter. If they wanted they could probably embody a bag of pretzals but seriously would you rather transform into that or a pistol sending an FU to conservation of mass?
In the very first issue it says they were formed from naturaly acurring gears levers and pullies! I swear! Look it up!
Obviously it's that square thing from the Marvel movies.
Pretty sure the Thumbnail isnt an accurate depiction of how Transformers are made, but what do i know.
Well we do here about a being called vector sigma that is said to give them life it was used to give life to airial bots and Stanton’s life
i assume they began as organic and left flesh and blood for immortal metal
How was male and female auto bot ?
Lets summon it up, everyone speculating and the original artist hasn't even decided yet.
soooo the constructicons loooove each other?
Is the asian samurai transformer ( can't remember his name ) more dangerous in his car form?
I think his name is drift
@@hitz4754 That's the one.
:D
His car form is a toyota corolla
@@hpdpco6634 it's a joke about asian people being bad driverss haha its poorly constructed tho :D
@@hpdpco6634 thought he was a black and blue Veyron
well when a Toy company and a TV Studio lover each other very much.......
Since the g1 cartoon said it was vector sigma and the g1 comics where based on the g1 cartoon then for me that's cannon.
Well when the daddy robot loves the mommy robot so much then they have a baby
How many people saw the thumbnail an had their mind immediately go to the song Love Machine by the Miracles?
That thumbnail is an abomination
Their creation is associated with the creation of the Borg. Also... Les claypool created Primus which created more transformers. Winona's big brown beaver was actually part of transformer's beast wars. Lol
They were originally created by the quintessence... They say it in the original transformers movie... And then they constantly change it every reboot.
There is a Bay movie that has baby dinobots
I smashed a blue Porsche bring rise to the cybertronians.
their creator is the planet itself primus
they were created by humans just like how kryptonians and martians were
There are humans that turns in to transformers in the comics
They were born from the all spark … and the transformer god himself legit is was said in G1 transformers
How do I undo the thumbnail? It's in my mind.
"Quint-tess-on"..........like "More-on"
I was gone for seven years.....
yeah i dont think there is one answer i like to think that the allspark could create them and transformers can have offspring of their own but not sure between by building or having them "born". And they start as like a young one or kid I find it odd for a species just to be born/built to be an adult as soon as they come alive.
If you ever feel dumb
Know that some people clicked on this video seeing the thumbnail 🙂
10:28 did I just see a human there??? BRUHHHH!!!!
06:06 religious?! No, that's exactly the opposite, the atechnogenesis origin is akin the Natural Selection. It's the Primus/Unicron origin story that's the religious version.
Well you see, what a daddy Transformer loves a mommy Transformer...
the Quinteesions made them all for work labor
Wrong with statement made about not having an origin in original cartoon. There is an episode where they go into great deal of how they came into being.
the origin of transformers appears in net series The Prime Wars Trilogy in the third part The Power of the Primes
Anybody else ever read the *Live Wire* story arc?
It’s an amazing trilogy of novels that cover (obviously) the war between the Autobots and Decepticons, but introduces a new alien species that claim to have been the creators of the first transformers;
Anyway the story begins during a hardcore battle involving Optimus Prime, Megatron, and a couple others on each side and all of a sudden they (and the few hundred humans trapped inside the “battlefield” in Hong Kong) are all kidnapped and eventually forced to fight each other and/or other alien creatures in gladiator style battles!
@@Ohem1 was it not budyanski?
Transformers impregnate human females with a lot of energon and a lot of luck, no matter the cost. "You got the touch, you got the power" 😂
The first trasformer was created. none of them are born. They are made from parts and programmed. They then learn from experience.
All these theories where do tha robo alien lady com into my play as shown in tha movies
