This movie was almost perfect if only the dinobot had more screen time and had a bigger role. I felt like Hasbro and paramount pictures only added them in the film just to sell more toys.
Technically lock down isn't really a bad guy, he's a mercenary which sounds bad but what he's doing is being the necessary evil in his perspective. Like he said the universe is huge and there are other powers in play, sees humans and cybertronians as children. So yea he's bad to US, but we can't say he's bad according to the universe, he's basically a robot recall agent.

Best villain/antagonist in the Transformers franchise. and his car is amazing too, gotta love the aventador
I love your content and am super happy that you are doing Transformers content! When I saw that you did an almost 15 minutes video on Lockdown I assumed it would cover his few iterations throughout Transformers history. To make it exclusively about his shallow presence in AOE amuses me because Lockdown doesn't even have 15 minutes of screentime in that cinematic tragedy.😆 This was a recap of age of extinction which nobody should have to relive.😔 Although not nearly as visually stunning, Transformers animated contains the origins of Lockdown and I promise you it's worth the investment of time. There is more substance to Lockdown then anything Michael Bay can deliver. To give a comparable analogy of how vapid this video was, imagine doing a 15 minute video on Batman but your entire scope of coverage on the character is limited to his appearance in suicide squad. 🤣
Age of extinction is the best transformers movie by a long shot
@@novustalks7525 that's like saying "Cancer is the best disease by a long shot!" Also, Bumblebee is the best Transformers movie in terms of a comprehensive narrative.😆
@@phreadimus4now136 what narrative? Bumblebee doesn't even have a plot. It's shallow
@@novustalks7525 imo bumblebee is similar in narrative as E.T. or The Iron Giant. The story may be a bit basic but at least it makes sense. I can sum up the plot of bumblebee as "an outcast teenager befriends an alien robot and helps him recover his memories in order to complete his mission." If you can describe the narrative of AOE in as many words or less, I will concede that it has the more comprehensive narrative.
@@phreadimus4now136 "autobots must learn to regain faith in humanity while fighting off an intergalactic threat and fight man made vehicons "
This was an Incredible Video for My All Time Favorite Version of Lockdown and My Second Favorite Antagonist’s In The Transformers Film Series.
i think he was hired by Quintessa to capture her guardian knights (plus her staff), optimus prime, and possibly the dinobots... unless lockdown mistakens the dinobots as Quintessa's guardian knights, she would be pissed but she'll would've find a use for the dinobots.
Cap
Lockdown the cybertronian that you can understand since he has only himself
My favorite villain
I've always loved the autobots and decepticons but lockdown was the top of the food chain as far as transformers I instantly was like that's the man right there
my favorite transformer villain
Putting lockdown aside I genuinely think age of extinction is such an underrated movie
It was a 10 for me.
Best villain best soundtrack best transformer design and a good story
I noticed that lockdown doesn't have cybertronian language anywhere on him which is so weird also did anyone notice the deep cuts on lockdown's chest so he was in a fight with another transformer
Lockdown does actually speak in one scene where he said something to Steeljaws in ancient Cybertron language
The scratch was from sideswipe after when lockdown was hunting him
New matter which transfirmers continuity he's a ruthless and profit hunting as ever
I liked lockdown I feel like if he was paired with Megatron around part 2 they would have been the deadliest duo ever
Lockdown's a loner
In my own imagination regarding Lockdown, I'm seeing him as a bayverse Deaths Head.
In transformers animated he was a student of yokatron (who trained prowl) who he killed. He then became a bounty hunter like his movie counterpart
Do one of these for Side-Swipe
He was so badass, shoulda had him be the villain of a trilogy
Yup..they fucked up the franchise after Transformer 2007
Hell, I thought that this video was about COVID-19. The character reminds me of Fauci.
Too soon?

Attinger: on earth we have a saying; the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Lockdown: I also have a saying, I Don't Care.
❤😂
Not to mention he captured grimlock and the auto bots under his command
8th year anniversary of TF4🙌shame I was hoping for a better, longer and more focused fight between him and Optimus but of course they had to throw in Bumblebee and humans. I was a kid when I thought that, and I’m an adult now but I still think that way.
I don't really think you can do origins, lore keeping, history, etc with Michael Bay's Transformers. Each movie he forgets or ignores key events from previous movies.
Nah
I know a lot of folks didn’t like the transformers movies, but I remember watching them in the mornings cartoon so I love all this transformers Star Wars, even if there not as good as they can be
0:04 imagine turning your face into a gun 🔫
That sentinel I thing- Optimus was fighting in the beginning of the 3th movie was a beast that thing he had that just destroyed everything - towns skyscrapers anything…was OP ! ( I remember went after sam and the ex marines that went with him to the city - yea it was 3 …And I think he never died if I’m not mistaken? … that guy was his own army if they had him and lockdown I’d say the auto bots and the decepticons would be no more lol 😂
If they hadn’t killed him off, the franchise wouldve still be running😔
Great video Lockdown was no joke in transformers age of extinction great character great
I didn't click on this for a movie recap
This movie was almost perfect if only the dinobot had more screen time and had a bigger role. I felt like Hasbro and paramount pictures only added them in the film just to sell more toys.
I heard that Lockdown got his scar from Sideswipe and the chest scar from Canopy.pls do more Transformers, maybe Prime,Armada,IDW etc.
No he got them from the creators
@@novustalks7525he got from Sideswipe not creators
@@phantomhd7889 no he didn't.
@@novustalks7525 yes he did

Imagine such a bad ass even the decepticons don't want anything to do with you
Lockdown could’ve been one of the greatest autobots alongside with Optimus.
“We all work for someone”
-Lockdown 2014
I like Lockdown most villain
Lockdown vs Thanos
Megatron vs Doctor doom
Galvatron vs Onslaught
The Fallen vs Apocalypse
I hated Michael Bays transformers with the exception of lockdown which has to be his best design. Goes to show when they do an original character design it's great when they try to reinvent a loved character like Star Scream or Devastator not so much.
Awesome do more transformers content they don't get enough love
He was also the true villain of 2020.
I'll be damned. Finally, a transformers video from Marvelous Videos. Please, please don't let this be the last one. 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Megatron will still be the best enemy optimus has ever faced ,
Would like to see a Lockdown movie.
A prequel to Age of Extinction, set leading up to that, but no Earth involvement.
How he got his "particular talents"?
Why he went rogue?
How he catches the Dinobots???
Ends with him getting the Age of Extinction job.
I always assume lockdown was a movie creation
Transformers Animated begs to differ
@@Karlos1234ify ah gotcha
He was actually introduced in the IDW comics.
(Nevermind it was actually animated when he was introduced)
@@_midddnight_ interesting

Thats actually funny, optimus said erlier in the movie "I know we don't kill humans, but when I find out whoevers behind this, they're going to die." And when saving cade he killed he who was behind it all! Good attebtion to detail!
Lock down:I've have a saying I don't care😎
Lockdown is basically the Transformers version of Boba Fett, Deathstroke, and the Yautja Predator combined!
he kinda reminds me of deathstroke
