So based on new Gen 2 with pressure sensor and screen. If you get a CEL pop on… you need to check and if showing debris, need to change or clean screen? If not, screen blockage bumps pressure and risking breaking screen allowing debris to travel to tank, back up to injectors.
Makes more sense to just get the DCR and never have to worry about it again. With the DPK kit you will eventually have to replace the CP4 anyways when it goes.
its a preventative maintenance thing. a lot of people dont want to eat the bill of a dcr conversion if they don't have to. a DPK still gives you the same peace of mind that your fuel system won't ever be destroyed and at most all you'll need to do is replace the pump. 400 dollars is a way smaller price to pay. Besides, if you maintain your truck regularly and use a fuel additive, your CP4 should last a decent while. Ive got 150k on my stock one and its not showing any signs of degrading.
@@patriottony3892 $2,000 + $1,400 labor (what my guy charged me) is nothing when you spent around atleast $50k on a truck. My truck makes me money and that is paid off in a days work. I have peace of mind knowing that is one part that will never fail and leave me stranded somewere.
Thank you so much 👍👍

400$ vs 2000$ just for dcr w/o labor

False sense of security has been ingrained in the dcr fans. Wait till it pumps contaminated fuel to all your injectors. Either way, you're paying.
What is the rim and tire size on that truck
26x16 with 38x15.50
