lmfao waking at 5:00 is really common in some countries because school starts at 7:30 even though your an elementary student most countries are like that.

Hi, I'll be studying in South Korea this summer for 6 weeks. I have the essentials, such as my luggage, plane ticket, etc. I was just curious how much spending money I should bring with me. I have financially supported myself for the past 2 years and so I will be financially support myself for this trip. It hasn't been easy, but this opportunity came to me and I took it. I'm open to any advice. Thank you!
Food wise, I ate out almost everyday (usually convenience store/lunchbox places for breakfast, average priced restaurants for lunch and dinner). Accounting for those three basic meals, food wise, I allocated about $20 USD, more or less. Transportation was pretty cheap with about $1.50 each ride and any shopping money is really up to you! Hope you have lots of fun xx
pretty difficult actually. If I had taken finance back home, I would have been taught to input the formulas through a financial calculator but the class taught at KU taught us to compute by hand. Professor was really nice and knowledgeable but I personally had a bit of trouble with this class (not very good at math btw). I think this is definitely one of the tougher classes in the business school overall. The professor even stated that you either do really well in this class or you do poorly. FYI, I did get a B in this class so it wasn't IMPOSSIBLE :).
This was so pleasant to watch, as I'm currently working on applications for a bilateral term here as an international business major! It looks so exciting and like a nice environment to study in, thank you for filming this even if I'm three years late! :)
Thanks Jennie ^_^. Unfortunately, I won't be making a video on that as it was year ago and I have super poor memory T__T. As for applying, I did it through my home university since it was an exchange program. I just remember submitting my transcript, an essay, and a letter of recommendation for my school application. I'm not sure what the standards are for KU are on accepting exchange students but it didn't seem too difficult on the applying end :).

Sorry for the late reply ahh! I would say it varies, for the most part I did have a lot of free time since I specifically only took 12 credits (4) classes and only had class Monday-Thursday so I was able to chill A LOT! When I had midterms& finals, it was a bit busier but it's all about time management. I feel like even if I didn't have a lot of free time I think I would still rather experience school in another country for a period of time over staying at my home university. Anyways, thanks for watching and taking the time to write a comment !! :)

It's so good how the universities in Korea give 15 units credits ususlly maximum. Meanwhile here in Philippines, I had 35 units in my very first semester in university. No wonder why it's so stressful.

I heard KUBS foreign exchange students generally DON'T have a high chance of getting the Korea University Dorms. If they do, they live in CJ international Hall!
Congratulations ・ KUBS is a top-notch business school and has some nice buildings ・ For accommodation, you can get a private studio next to KUBS. Meals are inexpensive in the school cafeteria. When you come in May, the campus will be beautiful.

Prionty Zaman I would think so I mean KU is a pretty BIG University so it offers a lot. There's definitely courses other than those the business school that are taught in english. For example, my boyfriend took an ecology class in English and I had a psych behavior/data class in English. However, the variety of classes you can take in English will be limiting no matter what major you are since ultimately, it is a Korean university where the main language is korean but the university in my opinion, is generally pretty flexible for foreign students.
@@stefanie1636 i applied through my school! There were definitely a lot of parts involved but the best way is to talk to a counselor specializing in study abroad/exchange programs at your university and they will help you with everything you need !!

can anyone complete the whole courses in English?Actually I wanted to study CSE abroad(As I took science in college and my grades are also average) and didn't know if KU offer courses in English(I know I need to learn korean language for the sake of communication but I wanted my courses to be in English )
Prionty Zaman I would think so I mean KU is a pretty BIG University so it offers a lot. There's definitely courses other than those the business school that are taught in english. For example, my boyfriend took an ecology class in English and I had a psych behavior/data class in English. However, the variety of classes you can take in English will be limiting no matter what major you are since ultimately, it is a Korean university where the main language is korean but the university in my opinion, is generally pretty flexible for foreign students.

@@stefanie1636 i applied through my school! There were definitely a lot of parts involved but the best way is to talk to a counselor specializing in study abroad/exchange programs at your university and they will help you with everything you need !!
