    He's the guy who made Marvel before Stan Lee had a job with Captain America then came back and SAVED Marvel and Stan Lee in the early 60's creating, co-creating or co-designing every great character they now make billions off of. That is why Stan Lee calls him THE KING OF COMICS!

      Totally. Have all 11 issues of his run and while I love his work with DC and feel that he has actually gotten better by working on DC titles. That being said, I would love it if he could do one more run on either All New X-Men or Uncanny X-men.

    Stan did a GREAT job of writing DIALOGUE for characters that JACK KIRBY CREATED, like THE X-MEN (including MAGNETO), IRON-MAN, THE HULK, THOR, CAPTAIN AMERICA(created BEFORE STAN LEE EVEN HAD A JOB), The Black Panther, The Fantastic Four, The Avengers and THE SILVER SURFER(INDISPUTABLY CREATED BY JACK) to name A FRACTION of the KING'S OUTPUT! You know who FIRST called JACK KIRBY 'THE KING'? IT WAS STAN LEE!!! I love Stan Lee also but the facts remain... JACK KIRBY MADE MARVEL! 'NUFF SAID!'

    @ATENakaATON What runied comic books is comic stores. People were paying big bucks for old comics that their parents had thrown away and started seeing comics as an investment. Now a CS is the only place to get comics. But those old books were rare. Jim Lee's X-Men was good, but that multicover thing was just Marvel's way to cash in on the comic investment craze. I like X-Men vol 2, but you can find those #1's for 25 cents. I don't like how X-Men now is more like those mediocre at best movies.

    JACK KIRBY is the true main figure for Marvel. If you think Kirby was just drawing Stan's ideas you need to look at the facts. Kirby saved Marvel. Kirby joins Marvel and shortly after, they have a thousand new and inventive characters. Kirby leaves Marvel and creates an entire universe of characters for D.C., many of which are still huge. Stan, at this time, QUITS WRITING. Jack comes back to Marvel and creates more characters that are still quite big. The facts are undeniable.

  • @Stepper11

    Wow. A tutor at the age of three. Cool.

  • @itzjoeymac
    @itzjoeymac 16 лет назад

    A good example would be all the early Marvel compilations such as 'Origins' only say 'BY STAN LEE'. That is an insult and a LIE. One must assume that Marvel did not want to have to pay more to other creators, LIKE JACK. Marvel is a disgrace for the way they treated Kirby. They even tried to STEAL his original art. In fact, considering how much went 'missing', 'somebody' stole quite a bit. Stan, NATURALLY, did not come to Jack's defense. Stan is a company man. A CORPORATE MAN. Jack was REAL.

    @ telewatcher89 (cont'd 2)story back when were saying Sabretooth was his dad (until SHIELD's bloodtest proved otherwise) 2 Origin in Nov '01 (which I hope will remain the real deal canon origin o'Wolvie) which was kind o'dark & did'nt have (I think) any o'the very action oriented gestures/poses o'the 90's.I mean that stuff was awesome but honestly I think it was bit cheesy when other cartoons & stuff tried 2 imitate that.I agree with u that what Wanda Maximoff did with "Dissassebled" & "HoM"

    @ telewatcher89 (comment cont'd) after all in the 90's their were some good comic book based cartoons (ex.the Marvel animated U) & they prob. did gimmicks in the comics 2 appeal 2 like kids who were new 2 this stuff when they saw the toons.I'll admit 90's artists like Lee,Liefield & MacFarlane definately had a very original dynamic very stylish art style which was also very serious.However 2b honest I like the mid 2000's & onwards serious storylines.Ex.compared a 90's Silvestri drawn Wolvie..

    @ATENakaATON That scenario would decribe the Clone Saga of the 90's and yes, some fans are part of the problem. Most fans nowdays want everything in a dark nior style like Batman, but not everything needs to be dark to be serious or somewhat realistic. Look at the Avengers, Quesada and Bendis ruined it by making in dark as well as making Scatlett Witch crazy. And they added Spider-Man and Wolverine to the team just to sell books to attract fans who only like those two characters. I just hate it.
