- Jim Lee sketching Jean Grey (Marvel Girl, Phoenix) at the Long Beach Comic Con on October 6, 2009.
At the recent Long Beach Comic Con, I had the pleasure of sitting in with Stan Lee and Jim Lee in an exclusive signing where I even caught a few moments on video. It was an intimate few who had rare comics signed, heard cool comic stories and even posed for a pic or two with these comic icons.
I'll always remember hearing Stan doing the intros to those Saturday morning cartoons of my youth, so it was fun to hear him joking with fans while Jim was sketching away. This ranks as one of those really memorable con moments for me and it's made even more special by catching it all on camera! Развлечения
Goodbye friend.
R.I.P Stan Lee
you are the luckiest guy ever, u got to meet Stan "the Man" Lee and Jim Lee at the same time!! Both legends in the comic book universe
Legends, both of em
I love how Stan Lee is so enthusiastic about comics after all these years.
dude you are so lucky to meet stan lee and jim lee
There is power that comes with the Lee name.
stan lee is hilarious
ah stan lee hes so awesome
YOU ARE SO LUCKY!! TWO OF MY IDOLS!!!
That drawing must be worth a lot of money lol.. Gotta love Jim Lee.
Stan and Jim (*Both Lee :D *) are both great people as in artist, mentors and inspiration to the world. If they wern't here today we wouldn't have saw what they created (Like Marvel,DC
Jim was the best artist the X-Men comics ever had.
Stan Lee and Jim lee are like Best Friends Forever :3
rofl
STAN THE MAN LEE
Stan seems like such a cool and down to earth guy, such a iconic voice aswell :P, Jim Lee aint too bad either ;p
Great Sketching!
how awesome can one man be?
LOL, i love these guys
Love Jim =(
STAN LEE R.I.P
Haha, that is a GREAT picture of the two of them! Jim looks all serious.
TRULY INCREDIBLE ...this must of been what it was like to watch BRUCE LEE demonstrate martial arts.
That's awesome ur so lucky to meet them both
jim lee puts my drawings to shame. this guys a legend. love his type of style of drawings.
The precision of his line work is masterful. If you draw and know how difficult that is, you'd appreciate how bad-ass Jim Lee is.
I love this video
JIM LEE!
Excelsior
you inspire me to keep goin
they are good for doing sketches and quick ink work.
That is a great drawing from jim lee!
He made the highlight in her hair a shape of a phoenix.
he realy hasnt done any marvel work since the heros reborn project but he still does draws them via request from people
Yea, I remember hearing that, but he still is doing some parts on the Spawn 200th issue, as I mentioned. So that'll be close enough.
sweet
laugh out loud ha ha ha he he he.
@Stevofaves: draws everyone the same its like looking at people who have similar features and look the same. Jim Lee is unique and stylistic and still produces "Same" commitment
.
Love hearing Stan lee talk, hope he lives forever
Bruh
@@user-db1ub3lz7l Shut up
Man I did too. But god has other plans for him. Such a kind heart
Stan Lee never fails to crack me up. What a character! Oh and by the way, Pitt Pens>Microns :P
He isn't exclusive for dc, he is doing a guest spot on the 200th issue of Spawn.
Wish Jim would do a guest run at Marvel sometime, Marc Silvestri does it, why can't he?!
Lucky guy, cool drawing
really doesnt matter what he uses... use whatever you feel comfortable with.
I have that pen... I feel so artsy now
can i borrow you for a second........ my printer ran out of ink!!
take a look to Kim Jung gi Drawing, it's insane, a real printing machine!
@hovsec thats pretty much what it is, especially when you've had that much practice and experience!!
The prisma ink pens are great. A little more but very reliable.
wish i could draw that fast without having to speed my vids up
i want a supergirl cartoon like michael turner would have wanted, and japan look me up.
@lusher45 I think it's a Micron Pigma pen, but I could be wrong (inking over his pencils)...
FRED LEE! XD!
@lusher45 it's called...a pen. graph pen,look at steadler pigment liner...line.
I've always had problems with that brand of ink pen.
Sakura Pigma- Microns, but it's not the toold it's the artist.
what is he using to draw with
just right across the forehead. lol
at 3:34 did he just draw a phoenix in the glare of he hair?
I'm talking about the product itself not the artist. The ink pen is great to use when it works but the tip has a tendency of bleeding or drying up.
@clawger Micron :)
✍🏻
hes with DC so its more like hes exclusive to DC when he took WILDSTORM from IMAGE
Really? You wouldn't add Adam Hughes or Terry/Rachel Dodson to that list?
sniper wolf?
where's bruce lee :P
he has a contract with dc comics thats why he cant even draw for image's new comic: image united
eh, im not a huge jim lee fan. he's very good, but he draws everyone looking exactly the same
im the new jim lee ;)
no entendí
tools*
no, you are not
that laugh is so forced
+ohthasmike Why are you trying to bring negativity to this video man? Stan and Jim are old pals
+El Padrino no negativity intended, and observation
