    To everyone that is scared about these: the first time I tried to insert it it hurt but only for like 2 seconds. When it was completely in I couldn’t feel it at all and every time I removed or inserted it after that first time was painless !

    • @cyanidesidesalad
      @cyanidesidesalad 4 года назад +12

      Do you think it hurt cause maybe your hymen is slightly still intact? I mean I can’t think of any other way it would hurt you unless it needed more lubrication to slip in painlessly 🤔

    For anyone on the fence, I recently tried the Flex cup and it’s a GAME CHANGER. The Flex disc never worked for me (I tried it for about 6 months and it leaked all the time, but I attribute this to user error) but the flex cup has been WAY better for me personally. It doesn’t hurt at all during insertion and I’m a virgin 😁

    This was my first week using the Flex Cup .... WHAT A GAME CHANGER.
    I normally use a combination of tampons + pads but I wanted to give menstrual cups a shot since I wanted to be more conscious of our environment, my health, and my wallet. I was extremely nervous for my first insertion so I just propped myself back on my chair and followed the detailed instructions provided in the packaging. Honestly.. it just feels like how a tampon feels going inside. It wasn't painful for me! I definitely noticed the cup being "inside" me but as the cup warmed up to my body temperature - I forgot it was even there. I'll go to sleep with it, wake up and change it, then re-insert before I leave for work in the morning. I will say it's pretty awkward when you have to go #2 in the bathroom but it's definitely doable.
    I haven't experienced any leaks and I'm really happy with my purchase. It was expensive but it was so worth the investment! This is meant to least 1-2 years so it's definitely saving more money than buying pads/tampons. Give it a try Y'ALL!!

    So I’m new to the world of menstrual cups. Literally bought Flex Full fit yesterday. (Due to having heavy flows)..and I LOVE IT!! Not going to lie, it took me around 10 minutes the first time. It’s honestly not so hard though. It’s more so just learning a new technique. Once I got it, I didn’t even feel it. I honestly feel so clean, so protected, and overall so happy with this purchase. Today is my second time using it and I got it properly inserted in under 3 minutes. Flex Cup is awesome. I highly recommend.

    I ordered my first cup and I’m currently on my first period using it. I was nervous as tampons tend to hurt me due to cramping. I LOVE the cup. I’ve never felt more comfortable, clean and worry free on my period! I have light, medium and heavy flow days. I don’t feel it at all and was able to insert it pretty easily! I even worked out with it and used it over night. This is life changing. I will never go back to tampons or pads.

    Ok, purchased and cleaned. Waited 2 weeks for this moment... I’m older and a mom, very comfortable with my body. Went in there and slid right in! Don’t feel a thing. I didn’t know how to “check” it prior to leaving so I’m wearing a pad too just in case. I’ll do the finger sweep next time. Game changer! Wish I did this years ago 🥳

    My first day (Jan.27, 2020) with the cup was actually… Surprisingly… A success. 👏🏾 🤸🏽‍♀️
    The next day was another success but my third day I didn’t have that much luck 😔 I think because I was trying to put it in and I wasn’t relaxed and I was also going through some anxiety so when I did it insert the cup it wasn’t inserted properly… I tried several times and gave up. Luckily I was at home so I didn’t have an accident 🤗
    Your instructional video is amazing I watched it several times and it’s so clear and concise. THANK YOU VERY MUCH for the clarity. 😍🥰🤗
    I am going to try again today because after speaking to my friend Who uses another menstrual cup and she did some research and many people say it takes a few months to get used to… I do not want to give up on the FLEX cup because so far this is the BEST one on the market 😉

      It’s not bad at all! Use water or a water based lubricant to help it slide. I actually like laying down to insert it! The punch down fold is easiest for me.

    Finally got mine, testing it out all week. Pros: the remover is PERFECT, works quick and mostly mess-less. The softness of the silicone is super comfy, it doesnt give me that subtle “full” pressure feeling on my heavier days if that makes sense.
    My biggest con-ish complaint ..still dealing with some leaks. Other cups are rigid silicone so opening back up is pretty easy, this one its so soft that no matter what I do, i can still feel it not really opening/ the whole thing stays pretty folded since its so soft. I’m currently 50/50 on mine actually opening. I’ll keep trying 😔
    To cup noobs; i’d def reccomend this one because unlike other cups, the material is extremely light and soft, so its extremely easy to insert! Just still dealing with it opening 100%. I think its worked the best for me in the shower, where i use a scentless soap to clean first, rinse.. then use the water and angle (standing or squat). seems to work best.
    Hope this helps! Despite the trial and error, i havent needed to buy a single tampon all year. I would suggest getting a light to mid liner on the heaviest days.

      I usually have very long natural nails. They're currently short. I plan to grow them back out but dunno how that'll go over with insertion. How did it work with you and long nails inserting previously?

    • @TheFlexCompany
      @TheFlexCompany  3 года назад +1

      It depends on the length, but tons of our users have long nails. We recommend being extra careful during insertion and removal. You know your body best.
      Pro-tip: some users place a piece of tissue paper or a cotton ball under their nails and then place a glove over their hand this creates a bit of a barrier between the disc and their nails. 🙂

    I used the Diva cup for 3 months and eventually threw it away cause it wouldn’t create a seal. Then on days I managed to create a successful seal, removing it was so difficult and no matter how slow I was at removal it would friggin POP out like a cork coming off a champagne bottle and splatter making a big mess on the toilet seat, giving me MORE to clean up besides myself and the cup. I hated that POP effect the most. This one looks like it would be way easier to insert and easier to remove. I might give it a try but I just purchased a ton of tampons in bulk from Amazon so it might be awhile.

    Just tried the flex cup! I was hoping I could wear it the day I was suppose to start my period since I never know EXACTLY what time in the day on the 3rd Wednesday of the month but my cervix wasn’t having any of it. I tried for 30 mins trying to insert it using different fold and nada.
    Day 2 of my period, it was much easier to insert! Took me only 2 tries. I’ve had luck with the punch down fold but leaking on day 3.
    My question is, how far should I be inserting the cup. Does the pull tab need to disappear inside my body like the diagram or hang out nestled between my uhh..lips?

    • @beemcd7198
      @beemcd7198 4 года назад +13

      Tampons hurt for me sometimes so I thought the cup would be uncomfortable but it didnt hurt and was easier to get in than a tampon for me. I think the reason is because tampons absorb everything as the go in so it's dryer and creates mote friction but the cup just collects. Also the cup just kinda found the right position on its own, like as long as I put it upright it's fine. But if I put a tampon in slightly wrong it sucks. I also just started so maybe I'm lucky so far.

    • @destinynavarro7976
      @destinynavarro7976 4 года назад +2

      if it’s uncomfortable it might be because it isn’t in all the way so a part of the tampon might still be on the outer area which makes it uncomfortable when walking around, don’t be afraid to push it in a little further, there’s a pull string for a reason! hope this helps (:

    • @TheFlexCompany
      @TheFlexCompany  3 года назад +2

      The stem stays in place once pulled to give you full control over removal. You may get a drop or two of blood on your finger, but that's about as messy as it gets. Since you can where it for 12 hours, you can also opt to remove the cup in the shower.

    I had gotten the full fit because I have a heavy flow and I know the slim fit wasn’t going to work. I managed to get it inside but it definitely hurt. It’s my first day so I’m still not entirely sure how I feel about it. It kinda feels like I constantly have to pee lol

    I got it today, and since I’m supposed to try it before my next period, I did. I had a little difficulty getting it in, but I looked up other videos for more methods, and I eventually got it with the punch down and another one. Is it supposed to hurt to take out? Or is that just because I’m not on my period, and it would not hurt if I was bleeding? I removed it slowly, and I got the slim fit.

    • @TheFlexCompany
      @TheFlexCompany  4 года назад +4

      Hi Clara! There might not have been enough lubrication. You can always use a water-based lubricant on your cup to assist with insertion or if you try it again before your period. When your cycle starts, it should be much easier.

    I just bought one and am going to use it in like, a day when my period starts. But I have a question and can’t find the answer anywhere- is the removal ring supposed to hang out a little bit like a tampon string? Or should it all be completely inside? Someone please help if you can, thanks in advance!

    • @TheFlexCompany
      @TheFlexCompany  3 года назад +1

      Where the ReleaseRing™ sits really varies from person to person since everybody is different. However, we recommend starting with the base of the cup within 1/2 an inch of the vaginal opening, with the pull-tab external like a tampon string. You can adjust the length of the Release Ring and the position of the cup to suit your comfort but it really doesn't need to be any higher than one knuckle to perform at its best. If you have any additional questions, please reach out to us at hello@flexfits.com 💕

    What if you needed to remove it in a public bathroom. Do you need to clean it or can you pop it back in?

    • @TheFlexCompany
      @TheFlexCompany  3 года назад

      Since the cup lasts for 12hrs, you shouldn't really have to empty when you're on the go. If you do end up needing to empty it in a public restroom, some users like to bring a reusable water bottle into the stall with them to give their hands and the cup a quick rinse. This is a great way of getting around walking to the sink with your cup. You can also check out our new biodegradable wipes, safe for your cup and hands. You can then just give it a proper wash when you get home. 🙂

    Would the bigger size be better for women that have had multiple children even if the flow is lighter?

    • @TheFlexCompany
      @TheFlexCompany  3 года назад

      Either cup will work for most people. The Slim Fit is smaller, great for light-heavy flows or beginners who are new to the cup world.
      The Full Fit is larger, it's for menstruating humans who have had multiple vaginal births OR those who have very heavy flows.
      You can't really go wrong with either choice--if one size isn't working out for you, we'll send out a replacement for the other size at no additional charge (with proof of purchase.) 🖤

    so, i normally use tampons and just bought the slim version so i’m super stoked to try it! but since she said it’s kind of like tampons, is the flex ring supposed to stick out of you or should the whole cup, ring included be completely inside?

      Hi Amada! That's rad, we hope you end up loving your Flex Cup! The great thing about it is that the stem is extendable so if you'd prefer to leave it hanging outside of the vagina, you can! It can be adjusted to whatever height feels most comfortable for you. ❤️

  • @kittyharris95

    I normally use pads, and I tried this for a few days. I noticed I have discomforts and cramps, and the pull thingy itches between my lips. I have to tuck inside so it doesn't itch. I went straight into the big one cause I have irregular periods from light to heavy, but unsure if I am doing it correctly. It doesn't leak, just puts pressure inside me which is uncomfortable can't tell if cramps, gas or the cup.

    • @TheFlexCompany

    • @TheFlexCompany
      @TheFlexCompany  3 года назад

      That really depends on your own unique anatomy. Some users prefer to position the base of the cup within 1/2 inch of the vaginal opening with the adjustable ReleaseRing worn externally, like a tampon string. Other users might find it more comfortable positioned slightly deeper, like in the video. Our FLEXperts would be happy to answer any insertion questions if you reach out to them at hello@flexfits.com 😊

    2 questions...1. How far in is it supposed to go? 2. Do you rinse then reinsert for the next part of the day? Or do you need to have 2 so you can wash the first one while using the other?

    • @TheFlexCompany
      @TheFlexCompany  4 года назад

      That depends on your comfort level. Flex Cup can be placed in the same spot you'd position a tampon or it can be placed a bit higher in the vaginal canal. Your cup should be removed, emptied, and washed every 12hrs. 🙂
