To listen to these questions & having read them online over & over again makes me so very sad. If you're a parent, this is EXACTLY why we need sexual education in India !! Hi there, we hope you have the best experience with menstrual cups and they work as fabulously for you as they did for us. Compared with single-use products, a cup is more eco-friendly, doesn’t have to be changed as frequently, and may be less prone to leakage. Menstrual cups also hold more blood and because they collect rather than absorb blood, you're not at risk of getting toxic shock syndrome (TSS), a rare bacterial infection associated with tampon use. Having said that, every woman's body is different and goes through its own period journey, therefore, they should use the hygiene product they are most comfortable with ❤️ Sending you love & light -Team Glamrs

Thank you for putting this wonderful video- it has covered majority of the questions I had in my mind. Just one more question- how can you pee with the menstrual cup? Remove it and put it back? I usually pee a lot and change the sanitary pad every time so how would this work?
You can check female anatomy. Urethra is a small hole near to your vagina. You don't pee from where you get mensuration. It is a completely different hole. You can check it.

Hey! I have a question.... I heard some people telling that teens shouldn't use menstrual cup because it affects their body and growth.. is that true??
Another important aspect to choose cup is if you play outdoor games or exercise you will need medium to hard cup depending up on how much active you are, or you are doing less activity you will need soft to medium cup. I'm saying this from my personal experience. 1st cup I bought was She cup C and it was hard as well as big in diameter and I felt pressure on my bladder while wearing it as well as I couldn't pee, now I'm using Diva cup size 0 it's soft as well as noticeably small in diameter. And its perfect.
I tried the menstrual cup today for the first time after much hesitaion and anxiety.. but to My surprise it was quite easy to insert and remove the cup.. I can't believe how comfortable it is.. It doesn't feel like I am on my period at all.. there is no blood, no leakage, no ordour and best of all. Am pad free 😊... Now I can enjoy my daily activity even on my period.. so glad I decided to try the menstrual cup

For the first time i bought this i don't know that it have its own different size i bought large from nykaa i unbox and realize that it's too big for my vagina 😂😂 i read the description and it is made for women who give birth to 2 or 3 children so i ordered small size again its fit and easy to use ...love menstrual cup ♥♥
Insertion is easy. But when i try to take it out, the cup is really high up, so i have to push quite a bit and I'm afraid of a prolapse due to that. It pains like heck too, while taking out, even with trying to pinch. I don't want to give up yet, but it's scary
To all those who can't insert it properly or who have problem opening it inside- Sharing my experience- 1st day of using (I wasn't on my period, just tried inserting the cup to practice) - insertion was smooth as I have used a tampon before.. I thought that it opened up, but later when I removed it, I realised that it actually didn't. 2nd day of using - Both insertion and removal were smooth and I thought that it opened up at that time but a few days later I figured out that it still didn't. 3rd day of using (got my periods) - Didn't open up but there was no leaking as the flow was very very less. 4th day of using (2nd day of periods) - At this time I thought that I was used to the cup and thought that it had been opening up inside me. But, on this day the cup was leaking.. that's when I realised that it hadn't been opening properly. 5th day of using (3rd day of periods) - There was no leaking and finally figured out the right way of insertion. Realised the following things- 1. Previously when I used to remove the cup by pulling the stem, it used to come out very easily as no suction was created. But on this day, it wasn't coming out easily which means it has been inserted properly. 2. Earlier I didn't feel the base of the cup rounded when it was inside me but on this day, I finally felt that round part which again means that I opened up as there were no folds. So, that's what I felt I did right during insertion on the 5th day of using it- After doing the punch down fold, I held the cup from the middle but slightly closer to the upper part and then inserted it in. When it was about halfway inside such that the folded part was in, I stopped for a while. The rounded base of the cup was still out. So I very gently held the base and pushed it in. During this process, I actually felt the cup opening inside. Now to further make sure that it opened up, you can go about the base with your finger. You'll feel the rounded base very very prominently. Now just push it in further by holding the base so that you don't feel the stem sticking out. Then, I also tried to pull the stem but the cup didn't start slipping out easily. (You may FEEL that the cup is coming out, but it is actually not. You may feel it because of its MATERIAL, but you would be able to feel the actual resistance so that you know it doesn't come out.) So hope all of this helps, all the best!
I'm 14 and I've been using a menstrual cup for about a year and it did take me time to get used to it but now I can use it without a problem

And now finally I mustered up courage to use this. Whatever issues I am not afraid. But my mum like every other typical Indian mum's reaction would be tree stopping, waterfalls freezing, flying birds freezing. So I'll use this after one and a half years when I am in college.
Do let us know your feedback! -Team Glamrs
What are tree stopping, waterfalls freezing, flying birds freezing supposed to mean. I don't understand

Haha i have an indian mum too but i bought mine off Amazon because i bought a gift card from the store and then used it to buy my cup, i never told my mum and its been over a year and i have no plan on telling her beacuse i know shes be extremely judgemental and because we're Christians. Sometimes she asks if i need to buy pads but i just tell her I'll buy it or i already have some

To listen to these questions & having read them online over & over again makes me so very sad. If you're a parent, this is EXACTLY why we need sexual education in India !! I mean women don't even know the difference between a vagina & urethra. And to hear women scared of losing their virginity by using a cup goes to show how the society has oppressed women into this kind of thinking. SMH. Great video, very informative 👍🏼

Having said that, every woman's body is different and goes through its own period journey, therefore, they should use the hygiene product they are most comfortable with ❤️
Sending you love & light

@@mariaraj160 it depends on how low your cervix is and what you are looking for in a cup. I am an athlete so I personally move around a lot during a day so I went with the lunette cup. It’s like a half way point between a super firm cup and a flimsy cup
I still feel my cup after putting it in.. When i sit also.. And when i push down, i still feel it coming out and leaking too.. Need some advice
@@todayzzzz4329 this could be because of a few reasons, you aren’t putting the cup in high enough, you are putting the cup in wrong, or the cup is too big. there are a few fixed i can think of off the top of my head, you could try to practice putting the cup in while you are in the shower to try and find a better technique that works for you as well as watch informational videos to make sure you are using the correct technique, or you could try to find a new cup with a smaller size. I used to have a similar problem when I first started using my cup, but with some trial and error i was able to get it right for me.

I am medical students and want to use menstrual cup as it is chemical free eco-friendly and much more..
But don't know how to convince her...
She's not that educated she has studied till 10th only ....
What should I do...?
My all queries are resolved through this video thanks❤
As an indian I understand ur situation... Start giving hints about this cup to ur mom.... Share her how it is so beneficial randomly.... Don't say u wanna use it just give her all the knowledge bout it and I'm sure there will be a time she will ask u to use it or maybe if not u will be confident enough to tell her by yourself
Try telling her that commercially available pads contain dioxins that can cause cancer in the long run.

Pee comes out a separate hole

Hey! I have a question....
I heard some people telling that teens shouldn't use menstrual cup because it affects their body and growth.. is that true??
Hey there! that is not true! - Team Glamrs

Insertion is easy. But when i try to take it out, the cup is really high up, so i have to push quite a bit and I'm afraid of a prolapse due to that. It pains like heck too, while taking out, even with trying to pinch. I don't want to give up yet, but it's scary

To all those who can't insert it properly or who have problem opening it inside-
Sharing my experience-
1st day of using (I wasn't on my period, just tried inserting the cup to practice) - insertion was smooth as I have used a tampon before..
Realised the following things-
So, that's what I felt I did right during insertion on the 5th day of using it-
After doing the punch down fold, I held the cup from the middle but slightly closer to the upper part and then inserted it in. You may feel it because of its MATERIAL, but you would be able to feel the actual resistance so that you know it doesn't come out.)
So hope all of this helps, all the best!
