- pretty fun but also brutal
Method to spawning:
1. Must be in a Master Mode world
2. Kill EoL
3. Kill ML
4. Place down EoL Relic
5. Wait the time to reach 12:00
6. Kill prismatic lacewing while standing besides EoL relic
7. A new EoL will appear, but it is not the ultimatum but rather like a lite version
8. Kill it and get the item that looks like a glowing soaring insignia
9. Use that item (I am not sure about the time but prolly daytime)

It’s cool seeing modded turning one of the best vanilla bosses into something that can rival the best of the best in the community
unfortunately the ridiculous spawn conditions, along with stat bloat- i mean master mode requirement AND daytime empress requirement completely ruin it. it was close to being good, but all that just fucks it up.

Man i love the Idea of the boss attacks being synced to the music, i hope they are expanding on that idea and making it even more synced.
Also the song is great.
it would be impossible to synch it since the time to kill the boss varies on the player and its never the same

For example, you also don't have to attack the first boss of "The Stars Above" mod (talking about "The Vagrant of Space and Time"), and i think it's a great idea.
@@not4realkertest129 Also as you can see in the video, his weapon doesn't always do all the damage it should do, so the full boss has to be fought. (Idk if the mod does it, or if it's a debuff from the boss)
But this is just a guess, could be that i am very wrong. I haven't seen a different video of this boss yet, so idk if other weapons would end the fight sooner.
The boss has minimun time limit. You can't kill her until the song ends, not even a very powerful weapon
@@not4realkertest129 Correct, so they probably cut the song up in some places and timed a sequence with a boss attack, also taking into account that it has to sound smooth so they probably changed the rates of attacks and made specific attacks more frequent, and at specific times during the fight (like the start), they probably made a sequence run longer than it would normally would and muted all other sequences during that timeframe. They also probably made specific attacks happen at a specific time (you see this type of thing with 'boss phases') so the song's timing sounds better. And for the same type of attacks with different sequences, they probably actually made only extremely slight differences between seemingly identical attacks and attached different sequences to them.
That's just my observation, though. Don't take it for truth

Yiyang233 always impresses me with these bosses, moreso with all but a few syncing up to the songs being played. At this point I now wonder how they manage to sync the boss's attacks to the instrumentals of given song; I heard the fargo devs wanted to do something similar with mutant's final attack
I think the boss has a locked attack pattern that he will always repeat and it matches the music

AND Yes i dont wanna lie i defeated radiance EoL not enraged and i have radient charm but i can go only 50% of enraged phase then i get stressed or tired and die.

I like how at the start the joyful music suddenly cuts out and it turns night, all the cool lights and effects make it seem like you are fighting the sun, especially at 2:40 where she literally turns into one

All of these Empress reworks are awesome and all, but they gotta give other bosses some love! Everyone keeps redoing Empress, and it's all cool and impressive, but I would like to see more bosses reworked instead of Empress again and again. Cool though!

What they're saying tho is that, aside from fargo's, there's 2 EoL rework mods so far (this and radiance) and both of them are amazing, but have you ever seen someone before yiyang make a mod that reworks eater of worlds in 1.4?

Might be too late but I want to clear two things out:
the endurance attack in phase 2 (3'01 in this video) would like you to attack EoL when the light ring shrinks near its center (about 3'12 in this video). attack EoL too early or late will let it release a powerful damage aura, filling the whole screen and deal much damage (evaded by Brain of Chaos in this video lol).
another thing is if you don't lock the time (such as function from the Hero's mod), the sun's position will represent the life percentage of EoL boss. that means the fight will start at 4.30 am and ends near 7.30 pm, and you can judge how much life the EoL rests by taking a glance at the current time in game. brilliant design personally
The lights the visuals the sounds all amazing, they really outdid themselves

my favorite part of this fight was when the empress of light went "its empressing time" and turned into the fucking sun
I like the fact that the background gets dark except for the boss and the sun

@@anygameslmao6613Yes in fact for me boss fights are way easier when they have patterns synchronized with the music. It may be cause I’m a musician myself. Btw I ain’t no hardcore gamer I struggled with desert scourge 💀

@@enriqueperezarce5485 You don't need to be a musician but it helps. I have a very good sense of rhythm and short term memory so it takes me 1-2 tries to completely memories patterns if it's basically sync'd or it always is the same through repeats. Some examples of fights that took me 1 failure at most were Sans fight, the entire game of everhood, etc. But in exchange my hand-eye coordination is very out of whack, only kept in check by me playing a lot of FPS games so it doesn't deteriorate beyond abnormal conditions, and dexterity is one of my weakest points to the point that I am very clumsy with most things that require deft movements.
It's just amazing. Developers, you have created something great, now I sincerely want to play with this mod.

This look SOOOOO much more fun than EoL radiance. I always had a problem with the fact the EoL radiance one shots you, so it's really annoying to effectively learn the attacks (I know about the practice mode, that doesn't change the fact thet the fight is over-tuned).
you can make it so she has her daytime attacks in the night in the mod settings

Honestly i like eol radiance more imo eol reworked is to easy trust me the harder the bosses are the more satisfaction u get from beating it you'll 100% get annoyed at first thats litterly everyone
Just need better reaction skill and focus which at some point grows without u noticing
And u guess if u have music just put earpods and play the game it will boost your skill but a certain precentage depends on which type of song makes you feel hype
@@reality1468 The main problem I have with the fight is the suction on the flower attack. Since I play on controller I can't move at the max speed you can glide, so that attack is way to hard lol
I like mods like these, making fights generally more challenging, but also increadibly simple and easy to memorize attacks.

this mod with all its effects and musical accompaniment of the battle with the Empress just gave me the creeps. I really admire this mod and hope that Yiyang233 will please us again with new reworks and the addition of new musical accompaniments for all bosses. and also make reworks for all weapons :)

The ring at 1:12 reads "Nine Songs·Dongjun" "Tian will come out of the east, shine on my threshold and Fusang", which is the late boss of the believer written by yiyang233 (Yiyang 233), the Chinese legend of the sun goddess " "Xi He" is said to be able to travel anywhere by riding the corona. This is also shown in the game. The sun is her HP. After the original version of Xi He is defeated, the sun should no longer rise, but there is no such setting. After all, it is just demo...(The position in the video is unchanged because the time is locked and not by me)

I find it funny how they refused to use the sword whooosh sound since that sound is one of the most delayed sounds in the game so it'd be horrible to sync
For those curious the sound takes around 1.3 seconds before the "impact" sound starts, which is one of the longest times for any terraria sound.
Impact sound is the part of the sound where it has an audible impact or start, the first 1.3 seconds are just buildup

This could be a SCal type boss, where you first beat the EoL but that wasn't the true EoL, just a clone (dispatched to see who killed the Prismatic Lacewing or something). Where the reworked one is the final hardest boss in the game, where she shows her self after deeming you a threat to the hallowed.
Love how you can still ever so faintly hear the damn moonlord star thing throughout the whole thing

Fun fact: The Sun Goddess is the name of the eol remake in the chinese version of this mod. The reason it is the The Sun Goddess is due to the fact its the name of a Chinese god.
