I highly recommend an electric blanket it's a game changer sleeping in the cold your power bank may be able to power it also get yourself a propane Mr Buddy Heater when you're not sleeping it will warm your van in minutes

I recognized a couple of the places you drove through on the way to deliver the puppies. The place you stayed at and went for a swim was absolutely amazing, where was that? I want to go do some camping up around that area of northern Ontario this coming summer and that spot looks fantastic. Cheers

Hi Princess Julianna, Thank you so much for taking us along. It's always so much fun to see you and be in on your adventures. Those were such adorable puppies. I'm so glad you made video of them. The last time we saw your brother's cabin it was only a shell. He's really got it looking cozy now. About your bedding: If you go to a foam products company you can pickup a piece of rather "dense" foam about 2" thick for backing and then you add layers of softer foam until you get it just right. I did it many many years ago and I still sleep on it every night. I live west of Detroit and I got mine at Foam N' More in Clawson Mi. They shipped to my house very inexpensively and they will help you decide on the correct product. I am sorry to see the van got into a fender bender. But that's all it is and can be put back to like new easily. Thank you again for thinking about your viewers and making a video. As always stay healthy, safe and keep having fun. ben/ michigan

Juliana, I used to build out these vans for a transportation company performing long haul hot delivery. Using standard roll insulation and dynamat style insulation is perfect. We the covered all the walls and ceiling with black fleece material panels. Its a good sound deaden as warm. We then added a small Deisel heater and a roof top unit. With batteries, inverter, TV, microwave, wall panels, insulation, wood decking with z track, materials will run about $4k US.

That pink insulation is for houses. a vehicle when you sleep creates moisture that pink insulation absorbs moisture, which will create black mold, which will get you sick and possibly kill both your dogs so rip that out immediately stuff the arteries of the van with wool insulation, which is the best And put spray foam in areas You can’t fit the wool.

You need a inverter connected to another battery connected to your alternator this way the second battery will stay charged . Good luck 👍
She had one sprinter van all decked out that she lived out of for a few years and she sold it and now she started over from scratch with a sprinter van that she just bought totally empty and she started over from scratch

- hope the damage is minor as it appears. Probably not cheap, but as long as everyone's OK, that's all that really matters. Tires might be an issue? Time for good winter tires, maybe...
**As for insulating, I understand that you should absolutely NOT insulate the bottom cavities ( on the sides below the floor) as they are designed to collect and channel moisture to drain out along the bottom. Any insulation in there will invariably get wet, trap moisture, and end up causing mold and/or rust issues -- you did a good job on insulating the floor -- that's a good start, and get a diesel heater when you can afford even a cheaper one. Also might want to anchor that dresser down at a couple of points just to be safer.

Insulation ongoing the walls would be a huge help, as well as insulated window covers... just saying.
