Easy how to make: Mexican Discada

  • Here I show you how to make Discada en disco.
    You can use any cooking tool but a disc is traditional in this dish.
    You can modify these ingredients by using less or more of any ingredient and it will taste just fine. Its all up to your liking!
    Ingredients in English:
    6 pounds of top round steak or tithe
    2 pounds of chorizo
    2 packs of Winnies or 24 ounces
    2 packs of bacon or 24 ounces
    5 white potatoes
    5 roma tomatoes
    1 white onion
    * seasoning is optional- garlic and onion powder*
    Aquí te muestro cómo hacer Discada en disco.
    Puede usar cualquier herramienta de cocina, pero un disco es tradicional en este plato.
    Puede modificar estos ingredientes utilizando menos o más de cualquier ingrediente y tendrá un sabor excelente. ¡Todo depende de tu gusto!
    Ingredients en español:
    6 libras pulpa negro o diezmillo
    2 libras de chorizo
    2 paquetes de Winnie o 24 onzas
    2 paquetes de bacon o 24 onzas
    5 papas blancas
    5 jitomates chicos
    1 cebolla blanca
    sazón es opcional- polvo de ajo y cebolla

    This looks good the only thing I would recommend is home made chorizo from a mexican meat market just taste better and more authentic then store bought and I've also done mine with breakfast sausage before and chopped up beer brats are good also with it

    If you leave your disco coated with some grease after youre done using it, & then store it indoors like in your garage, you wont have to worry about curing it from surface rust every time before using it again. I do the same with the grill from my Weber after I'm done grilling. But I scrub it to get the crusty char off while still on the Weber, then let it cool down, put it in a clean plastic kitchen bag (to keep your hands somewhat clean), & then hang it up in my garage. The Weber I just move under the covered porch

      It depends on your disco and the thickness but ours does a large flame so we do medium/ medium low

    No agarra mal sabor la comida con ese sartén que está oxidado??

      El disco no está oxidado. Cuando primero consigues un disco lo tienes que curar y el procedimiento lo convierte negro. Como cualquier olla, si se deja mojado claro que se oxidaría pero este no es el caso y la comida tiene buen sabor.

    A for effort.....but thats not REAL discada. .this is more of YOUR style of discada. Im sure its still good tho

      That’s subjective. Different regions cook with a slightly different style, this is real discada according to our region. Could definitely look different for your region 😉

      Los ingredientes están en español en la caja de descripción, puedes ver cuáles ingredientes voy poniendo con simplemente ver el video sin tener que entender el idioma.
