My wife and I were on that American flight in when you were getting fuel in exuma. I recognized the plane and have been waiting since January to see this video. 😊
This is such a great video, and helpful to those of us who are contemplating flying over water. I love the flight and a 150 and island hopping to boot. Definitely a lot different than my plan to fly from Philly to Martha’s Vineyard! Nicely done, and I learned some things to consider in my current flight planning to Martha’s Vineyard. Fly well, brother!
Great video. Brought back memories of my early flying days. I trained for my PPL in a Cessna 150 with tail no. N22306. I did my training on the east central coast of FL. The type of flight you two took was always on my bucket list. Never did it. Glad you had fun. Looks like a blast.
Haha! I remember this day and flight! I wasn’t about to lose communication with y’all when that weather came in. I sure was glad when PROVO called and told me y’all landed safely. Awesome video!
Man, your Cessna is beautiful! I’ve lived near Briscoe most of my life. I did my first discovery flight at the flight school for my birthday this year. It’s my dream to get my PPL. I love seeing your videos. You inspire me to continue my love of flying!
Awesome trip! You're literally living my dream right now! We vacation in St. Martin almost every year, and every time I am at SXM I swear I will fly my 172 there one day. My trip would be a bit longer - from the San Francisco Bay Area, but man - it will be a trip of a life time! Great job and great edit!
I just did my first Bahamas flight to Staniel Cay in an RV 12. (Similar speed and capacity to your 150). Your videos and article (in the AOPA guide) were extremely helpful! Thank you for sharing.
Great flight! You helped bring back a great memory. I flew my 1976 C150M from LA to southwest Florida. I was delivering 3723V to the new owner. I flew solo for the 22 1/2 hour flight. In 2006 AOPA Pilot was running articles on great budget airplanes and used my plane as the example aircraft. The day we did the photo shoot the weather was great over Long Beach. Then the marine layer came in. I have some great aerial pics of the plane on top of the marine layer. Sadly the plane was later sold to an FBO and rented out. A few years ago I learned the the plane crashed on landing and was totaled. Thankfully no one was hurt badly. I miss her! I should never have sold her.
I recommend getting a personal GPS locator and putting it on your life jacket. If you have to ditch, set it off. They’ll know where you’re at in less than a minute. Cheap insurance. I keep one in my plane close at hand all the time.😁😎
At this point I’m assuming she’s swinging that phone around the entire trip. I’m not sure there’s a clip in this whole thing where the phone ain’t swinging around haha
You stopped at my home base on the way down! Suwanee County 24J. Well kinda, our plane’s actually based at Kitty Hawk Estates Airpark about 5 miles west of there, but we spend quite a bit of time at good ol’ 24J!
Really enjoyed the video. Any chance you can share some of the FBO/immigration information along the way? We have flown to the Bahamas several times but are hoping to branch out a little further into the Caribbean this winter. Thanks and looking forward to the next one.
That you did this all in a 150 is impressive, esp. parked next to all those exec jets. Also, how is it possible that she doesn't have a ring on the 3rd finger of her left hand? A keeper for sure.
Love the video, thanks for sharing! Planning to make a similar trip some day but starting from MN. Quick question though, why not pick up an IFR clearance instead of remaining VFR and ducking under the could layer?
I see that your wore PFDs, do you also have a small inflatable life raft? How long were you over open ocean, beyond gliding distance on your longest leg?
The controller is just indicating he is done communicating with the first a/c and is now directing his instructions to another a/c….in the flow of the same transmission.
spirit airlines is going to send you a bill for that relay
🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

No way!!! That's so cool hahaha
Relaying messages through corporate jets must have been both nerve wracking and exciting!
Yes commercial jets
*COMMERCIAL JETS
mind blowing
Are you kidding me? Y’all nailed it with this video. Great job. I love it. Keep ‘em coming. 💪💪💪💪💪
Thank you! Will do!
i am very happy that you included the radio talk, i gotta get better and my radio communication

you could hear the relish in the Spirit Capt's voice as he relayed " at 70 Knts..."
Greasing those landings mister. Hope you two have had a great time. Thanks for the video.
Glad she filmed in front of the GoPro the entire time. Really needed that shot.

That dude held for a 150 on a 7 mile final? I would authorize a full length runway inspection with a 150 on a 7 mile final.
Was thinking the same.

Wow. I never knew pilot relay was a thing. Good to know. Cool pilots to do that.

Oh my gosh I love all that pilot to pilot communication!
Beautiful. I am ridiculously jealous. Keep the videos coming.

We did just that with a Garmin InReach Mini 2!
Cool
Thank you for sharing this! This rejuvenates, my love for flying! What an awesome trip!
Just a beautiful sweet classic ride you two are exploring and experiencing with! Thanks for sharing.
Very cool! Bucket list item to fly in the Caribbean. Loved ya’lls presentation at Oshkosh, looking forward to following the channel!!
Broooo… MY DREAM!!! I am 13 and have 10 flight hours! Hope I make it!!
Nice job..Been down there a few times so nice to see others make the trip
Great adventure! Well done!! Keep it coming..
This HAS to be the most Beautiful '68 Hotel model I've EVER seen!!!!!!
I see you carried the Garmin “mini 2” locator with you. Smart move.😎
Great video. And what a beautiful C150.
I find joy in watching y’all’s videos
Just bought a C150J. Added Gnx375 and some other avionics to make it IFR. Can't wait to start flying it.
At this point I’m assuming she’s swinging that phone around the entire trip. I’m not sure there’s a clip in this whole thing where the phone ain’t swinging around haha
Haha yep, we’re used to capturing for Instagram and TikTok!
I always wonder the same thing.

this is crazy, but I get more enjoyment from watching flying videos than flying.
Nothing better than a easy plane to fly the Cessna 150
This trip looks like it was a lot of fun. I should take this trip one day soon.
why record on the phone when u have the cabin cam ?
Really enjoyed the video. Any chance you can share some of the FBO/immigration information along the way? We have flown to the Bahamas several times but are hoping to branch out a little further into the Caribbean this winter. Thanks and looking forward to the next one.
0:33 Nice rap 😂. Great video editing. Thumbs up 👍
Nice flying 😊
I just got my license in Sept....I'm working with one camera right now but probably need one or two more cameras. Thanks for the great video!

This has been so cool to watch. How much footage did you have from the cameras?
Outstanding work 👏
Loved this series!
Great video! How far in terms of distance do you usually plan each leg with a full tank?
Love the video, thanks for sharing! Planning to make a similar trip some day but starting from MN. Quick question though, why not pick up an IFR clearance instead of remaining VFR and ducking under the could layer?
That's a long over water flight for a Cessna 150 ! I don't think I would be able to make that trip looking a miles and miles of nothing but water !
You guys are at 1A5!!! Welcome!!
Great stuff y'all
Its a dream to fly on my own plane to so beautiful places...
This is awesome ! Glad I found you channel 😊 question with radio relay to Miami.. how expensive is it to upgrade to be able to transmit further ?
Love this !
I see that your wore PFDs, do you also have a small inflatable life raft? How long were you over open ocean, beyond gliding distance on your longest leg?
So cool the airlines relayed for Miami center
Wow I like the sunglasses attachment you have. What are those?
You should fly to Bonaire / Flamingo Airport / TNCB
Very cool views & video. I got extremely distracted with the cell phone in the way all the time though
Do those small airports charge for landing other than refueling?
Great video ! 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I'd love to know how much did you spend on this trip ... and to compare if it's worth flying commercial
Orange stick man vanishes just like in MSFS.
So many lols with the relays 😅
The odd thing about flying a single engine Cessna over an expanse of water, you hear things….and when you again are over land they go away.
Not sure why shes always using the phone to record while you still have the gopro recording. Seems weird and annoying.
Probably recording the landing and takeoff with no people in the shot
TikTok maybe
My 150 would go to endless automatic rough over all that water, lol
How was customs and immigration at provinciales? What kind of fees did you have to pay at each location to land or use the FBO?
Cool video!
Cool video thanks but why does control US ATC provide that over other country? Laurie. NZ. 😊
Interesting video
How was comfort level for that long?
I’m starting my ppl. I’m 6’3” , what are your thoughts on being comfortable in 150 or 152?
Love your content!
awesome!
One day you guy have to make aa tripe here to grand turk were just like 20 mint fron providecinales airport
She’s charging her phone as soon as you set off! Lpthat lady needs to be escorted off that plane.
Awesome
Very nice video.
Where is the rest??? Wanna seeeee 😂😂😂
how yall go to the bathroom???
How do you get visa for so many countries tho?
Cool
What are the landing fees like at these airports?
Hope you can swim and carry lots of 🦈 repellent!!!
Hi Reggie Denis A Jr!
What the cruising speed of this plane
Nice video. Doesn't she ever fly?
That movie
Horizon Line
What does it mean when they say break break ? I've never heard that in the US atc.
The controller is just indicating he is done communicating with the first a/c and is now directing his instructions to another a/c….in the flow of the same transmission.
What does break break mean?
try and land or takeoff at saba
I'm sure the pilots of the commercial aircraft were thrilled to relay for you. Generally, they're a miserable bunch!
Found u in flight radar
Do you have autopilot?
Don’t you have to be certified to land into St Barts?
Yes
@@MinneapolisSpotting I missed his video prior to that. Please disregard!

all that shits going on and she's playing with that stupid phone. cell head to the end
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 I wish I could fly a plane like yours but I’m 10 😢😢😢😢😢😢I love your videos ❤❤❤❤❤❤
What’s with the constant filming with the phone???
We got our start on Instagram and Tiktok haha, gotta keep the vertical clips coming 🤳🏻
@@flymetothefun That you can monetize these trips is smart thinking :)
Idk it's just me I can't stand a single engine plane love your videos
Pretty ridiculous that miami center has to cover another country's airspace!
