Hey man private pilot here - if you are interested, go to your local small airport and ask the office manager if there are any pilots there you can talk to. You'll start out in general aviation airplanes for your training and the guys that fly those LOVE to introduce people to aviation. Chances are you'll get an offer for an airplane ride if you help clean the plane up afterwards.
I grew up in a 1968 Cessna 150. Me and my brother sat on dad's briefcase in the right seat while dad smoked away to our left. Throwing up in a plastic bag was a common occurence.

Speaking of mountain flying and Cessna 150s, I was a flight instructor based in Helena, MT, and my students and I would do a dual XC from KHLN to KBTM to KU05 to KMSO and back to KHLN. I think you might enjoy flying in western MT with lots of beautiful scenery and some nice airports to fly in and out of. You might also enjoy the challenging density altitudes that are common here 🙄. And no, you don't have to fly at 12,000 FT either. Just my ¢¢.

Ohio for the coasters ! Kings Island .. some nice airports surrounding & the Queen of them all .. Cedar Point ! Can’t speak for any airports around there but amazing park . Great channel btw 🤝
