THERE is nothing like the cure. So ahead of their time. It was like connecting way ahead back ikn the day...bands finally caught, they influenced everyone. The 80s seem like so easy days ...miss those days
Is everybody enjoying this in 2021? I've been enjoying this band since I was 17 in 1982. Some of us will be eternally Gothic in our souls...while admitting the light, we enjoyed the journey out of darkness. The Cure are artists of the highest calibre, pure and simple.
this song makes my heart burns, as a teenager in 2021, I wish I could have lived in the 80s....sometimes I feel so lonely.... Robert Smith I absolutely love you
@@I_Have_The_Most_Japanese_Music the fact that many young adults listen to a 38 year old cure song does give me hope, plus good music is always inspiring, even if it has a dark edge to it, life is full of ups and downs,,, music about real things to me is better than songs about fake happiness.
i havent called upon The Cure since 1989..........but now i need them again. i never stopped loving them, nor their music....i just didnt need them in my life like i do now, like i did back in 89. In the live version they replace the sax solo with a guitar and it sounds completely flawless. That’s the thing with the Cure even if the songs in the album version sound dated the live performances breathe life back into that again. Their sound is really timeless.

Unfortunately this particular version is fucked up, slightly slowed down, as a longtime fan of The Cure I immediately thought this sounded wrong. Say goodbye on a night like this
If it's the last thing we ever do
You never looked as lost as this
Sometimes it doesn't even look like you
It goes dark
It goes darker still
Please stay
But I watch you like I'm made of stone
As you walk away
I'm coming to find you if it takes me all night
A witch hunt for another girl
For always and ever is always for you
Your trust
The most gorgeously stupid thing I ever cut in the world
Say hello on a day like today
Say it everytime you move
The way that you look at me now
Makes me wish I was you
It goes deep
It goes deeper still
This touch
And the smile and the shake of your head
I'm coming to find you if it takes me all night
Can't stand here like this anymore
For always and ever is always for you
I want it to be perfect
Like before
I want to change it all
I want to change
The Cure for ever!
