You could put a wood frame on that canvas....THEN, put a hindge to open up & use the shelves behind for storage. Kind of like a medicine cabinet. Bathroom looks fantastic.

Just a reminder, u are blessed with a good, strong man, that is able to make ur room dreams come true!
The paint color is perfect for that wall. I always like between-the-studs storage in tight spaces like these, since you've got so little storage. You could always even just add doors to the "window" , and turn it into a more finished cabinet.

Hi! Like the ship lap and color! If shelves in niche were not deep enough, coul have added trim like a window sill throughout. Boys could add their own decor.
