Agreed. I wish I had a Rockwood. I think that was the only one with 4-wheel independent suspension too. I just wish they would get the carpet out of the slide like most manufacturers have already done.
JaycoWhiteHawk38KBS is my all time favorite. Rockwood 306FKBS (bench in front bedroom is my thing.) Pinnacle 36SSwS ( couch in front bedroom is REALLY my thing. )
Keystone Passport 2704RK rear kitchen, great bath with big shower. Barrel ceiling for height. Seating across from TV and fireplace. Pick ours up a week ago. It's perfect
Great video! We love our 2022 rockwood 2608BS!!!! Another great feature for this trailer is the 2 45 gallon grey tanks which really helps when boondocking!
You guys nailed down a tough feild that could of easily been a top 10 vs.a top 5. That being said the usual heavyweights rose to the top Jayco, Rockwood and Grand design. I agree with the Rockwood there's something about them , however slight that grabs the #1 spot. But really any one of these is great pick . Nice job Matt and Will
This guy is the real deal since he mentioned Jayco and Rockwood. Both are "can't-go-wrong" purchases (as long as you aren't totally foreign to the concept of RVs!). I'd personally prefer the Rockwood as maybe parts will be easier to find but Jayco would still be my second choice.
Yes! #1 is truly one we enjoy. Sometimes the campsites have the fire pit & picnic table at the rear of the site. The back door has come in handly many times for this. The weight seems to be distributed better with bedroom in the back. Not a fan of radius shower but this one does the job. The floor of the shower is the sturdiest I've tested. The doors on the rockwood are wider. Very helpful when loading and unloading. Not a fan of the steps. After a rainy trip you have to wipe them down and whatever was on the outside is now dumped on the inside - doors must be fully opened when opening and closing. Raining is a pia.
I have a 2022 Imagine Grand Design 2500RL. It is perfect for me and my husband. It has a center bathroom and with the barn style sliding doors it feels like each room is separate. The kitchen has lots of countertop, U shape dinette and theater or couch seating. We love it! 🥰❤️
Great video! We looked at the Rockwood and almost bought. We did buy the Venture RV SportTrek Touring 33' with 3 slides and front kitchen with an island. We are so glad with our choice, but the Rockwood was our 2nd choice.
We recently purchased a new couples travel trailer and we had purchased one had it for six months and it was just too small. So we sold that one and went hunting for one and knowing we couldn’t make the same mistake twice. We shopped and shopped. Not only the inside but the outside storage was important to us also. Another thing that was important was a extra closet in the bedroom besides those on each side of the bed. We finally purchased a Passport GT 2704RK. The trailer has the most unique storage I have ever seen, and the garbage can storage is just so unique. It also has a extra closet in the bedroom. Can you please review this travel trailer on your channel I think it is one people would really like and the storage on both sides of the trailer is something most people have never seen. Thank you
Same situation for my fiancée and I! We went looking for rvs and none beat the Passport 2704k. She really loves the coffee bar/shortage space. I love the outside storage. I believe the best balance between interior space and outside storage.
Great TT’s, I have not seen a review of the new Winnebago Voyager 2630RL but that couple’s trailer that’s under 30’ is a really nice floor plan. Please do a review, I think it is a top 5.
Grand Design 315RLS is beautiful and big - it has a huge living area and bedroom with a very big front closet. The entire trailer looks rich - beautiful colors and lots of windows and the front cap is very nice. Also it comes with 2 air conditioners and 2 awnings.
I’m surprised you didn’t include the Alta 2810. It has many of the features you hilighted in different units. King bed, outdoor kitchen, large shower, azdel, 2 AC, huge kitchen (thanks to the opposing slides). It also has a desk which allows us to take longer trips because I can have a dedicated place to work. We went to the Tampa show to look at a lot of the campers you talked about here but none stacked up to the Alta!
Hi Matt! I love those choices for the 5 best travel trailers. I had a hard time picking which I liked the best. They passed for the 4 Ps. Lol! Nice big bathrooms. I could see myself living in those full time. Thsnk you Matt for showing those travel trailers. See you soon!
Good video, but for me a couple travel trailer should be closer to 20". I think 29" or higher would be a lot room, maybe too much for a couple. But this is just me.
I agree I have a 20 foot trailer and it’s perfect size gives you everything you need and nothing you don’t. Also 20 foot and less you can get into almost any camp site. Anything bigger your choices get slimmer
First off, I 100% agree with your pick for #1. So Matt, I don't know if you'll remember (except for my loooong hair), but I stopped by at the Tampa show and asked you where I could find this one. Thank you for helping me so that I could see it for myself. The funny thing is that this was, in fact, the first thing I passed (on the left) when I entered from where I parked, but I walked the entire show to find it, and only saw it on the way out. I guess I shouldn't have gotten distracted by the Black Series trailers on the other side. 🤣 For those that are interested in it but haven't seen it, I thought it looked even better in person, which almost never happens for me. The only thing I didn't like was the whole bathroom, but especially the small radius shower. However, since that would be the room I'd be spending the least amount of time in (hopefully), I'd give it a pass for how much I liked the rest of it. 😎
@@doreenhall8611 Thanks! I somehow missed that one, which was reviewed on this channel last year. The few things I didn't like about this #1 are better on that one. The big difference is that those are 4 feet longer and 1000 lbs heavier.
I really, really think you should profile the Rockwood Signature Ultralite 8263 MBR if you can find one! We had a chance to buy one and decided to wait and now we are kicking ourselves for not pulling the trigger. It is amazing and we can't find anything that's comperable.
Hey Matt can you give me a list of a couple’s trailer for year round living , I work away from home and I need a trailer for that reason only that doesn’t have all the stuff that I wouldn’t need just to live in . Please 🙏 and thx
My opinion, not what I was looking for. My 30’ bunkhouse was great for my 3 kids. Don’t need another 30’ for just us. Is there a list in the 20-24’ range?
Whats up the the 'No ceiling to floor' doors as in your #1 choice? I am seeing this a lot in most TT.. The reason why I would never purchase a RV with doors like that.. Love the Salem Hemisphere or Heritage Glen 270FKS way better than the #1 as it has bigger windows and bigger TV... The Jayco and GD was Awesome.
I wish these RV companies would offer an option to remove the dinette and add a full size tri fold sofa. Every trailer we have owned we removed the dinette and installed a sofa. Most couples never use the dinette. We use TV trays.
Funny you mention that. We're shopping for a travel trailer. The only time we use our dining room at home is when we're entertaining, otherwise we're planted in front of the TV.
Good selection. There is one I think you missed on your list. That would be the Freedom Express 259FKDS. If I remembered the model correctly. It's similar to the Rockwood you showed at the number one spot. But there's two big differences. One it has a king bed instead of a queen. And secondly a good size outdoor kitchen as well. It's one of my favorites. So much so my wife and I tried to get one but the dealership didn't have any in stock. So we settled with a 2021 Springdale 274RB instead. It's an alright travel trailer but it's not what we were really looking for. So we plan on trading this travel trailer in for a Freedom Express model or a Rockwood in six years roughly.
Great videos guys!! So enjoy your informative walk throughs. How about the Rockwood 2516s? Great couple’s trailer that should have made the list. Thoughts?
Yay! The ones I was looking for! They were nice but maybe a little more suited for full time. Happy with my GD Transcend Xplor. More than enough for weekend warrioring and plenty enough for when we retire and travel. Also, don't tell "Tall Dude" but I get 16.4 mpg when towing it. He's a little sensitive about these things. 😃
Got a question for you: We're looking for a couples travel trailer, with azdel and aluminum framing. it needs to either turtle well or have two doors, 1/2 ton towable, dry weight under 6500 , 30 ft long or less, good tv position, theater seat, fluffy friendly bathroom and no bunks. Does such a thing exist or is it a unicorn? if so, will you give us a video on it please?
I disagree with the Grand Design Imagine floor plan being the best. If you're in the kitchen trying to cook, everyone has to bump past you to get to the living area. The kitchen is a walkway, with the dining room also squeezing you for space. I DON'T like that part at all!
My choice would be the Jayco Eagle TT340DROK, very roomy, washer dryer not in MB, could turn rear loveseat into more closet spsce. Just my opinion that I cant afford.
Please attempt to review an Outdoor RV sometime (my preference would be a 24KRS and/or 260KVS. I was hoping you might have hit Princess Craft while you were in Texas. 😉
I would have to put that Jayco as number 1. That bedroom with the window and sofa is phenomenal.
Not surprised to see the Rockwood as number 1. That floorplan with the rear bedroom has always been a favorite of mine.
I love these! Only suggestion would be to include a link to a longer review and/or the MSRP
when my wife and I start shopping for RVs, you are first on our list because of your awesome personality.
Grand Design every time! It should have been #1 with that awesome floorplan.
A listing of the model numbers show would help a lot when searching for the campers shown. There are a lot of variations of each models.
Agreed. I wish I had a Rockwood. I think that was the only one with 4-wheel independent suspension too. I just wish they would get the carpet out of the slide like most manufacturers have already done.
JaycoWhiteHawk38KBS is my all time favorite.
Rockwood 306FKBS (bench in front bedroom is my thing.)
Pinnacle 36SSwS ( couch in front bedroom is REALLY my thing. )
You should have shown the Rockwood 8263 MBR. Huge front kitchen and oh my goodness, huge back bathroom! So much nicer than the one you just showed.
30 seconds in, and already a fan of the channel.
Love the energy!
Keystone Passport 2704RK rear kitchen, great bath with big shower. Barrel ceiling for height. Seating across from TV and fireplace. Pick ours up a week ago. It's perfect
We have one, we like it alot,
Great video! We love our 2022 rockwood 2608BS!!!! Another great feature for this trailer is the 2 45 gallon grey tanks which really helps when boondocking!

Like the front kitchen
#1 Is #1 for me!
Good job. but I prefer choice #2 if I were making a purchase. However, I can see why number 1 was selected.
Yes! #1 is truly one we enjoy. Sometimes the campsites have the fire pit & picnic table at the rear of the site. The back door has come in handly many times for this. Does the TV swivel enough for full viewing from the rear sofa. Thanks
Rockwood 8262RBS is my favorite!
Love all of them!
Great video! We looked at the Rockwood and almost bought. We did buy the Venture RV SportTrek Touring 33' with 3 slides and front kitchen with an island. We are so glad with our choice, but the Rockwood was our 2nd choice.
Your enthusiasm and passion is awesome 👍👊
The more I see these towables .. the more I like them.
Rockwood makes an excellent travel trailer. The quality is always the best.
That Rockwood has the same floorplan as our Puma 26fkds. We absolutely love it. The only difference is we have a washer/dryer in the bedroom.
They all are wonderful, but one that you have never reviewed and is my all time favorite is the Keystone Cougar 25RDS.
Can you do a top 5 for travel trailers for singles? Some of us are not necessarily into the #vanlife.
Love them all

"Right over here, there's somebody's head" 🤣🤣
Such an amazing video
Love all of them! Nice job!

2730RL
#4 was my favorite. 😁
I do like the Rockwood but I wish it came with a big bathroom
WOMP! WOMP! 3 radius showers in your top 5 including your #1🙄
LOVE this video, much appreciated. Looking for something a little more light though…any videos that would help with that?
I have been a big fan of IMAGINES floor plan by grand design, still like, even today.
Grand Design 315RLS is beautiful and big - it has a huge living area and bedroom with a very big front closet. The entire trailer looks rich - beautiful colors and lots of windows and the front cap is very nice. Also it comes with 2 air conditioners and 2 awnings.
They were all good. A few were excellent.
That Jayco Eagle is amazing. I like it better than the Twilight but that Rockwood is tough to beat.
I think the grand design should have been number one best layout I’ve seen then the rock wood but man that bedroom in the jay of is awesome!
Enjoyed it bro 😎
Good choices. Really like the a Grand Design
would be nice to actually include some quality units like Lance and Outdoors RV
JAYCO EAGLE SHOULD BE NUMBER ONE I LOVED THE BIGGEST MASTER BEDROOM
My favorites are #1 & #3 l like lots of room 😊 Thank you and God Bless and Gods Speed 🙏🥰🤗🤗
Wish I had a big truck!
Hi Matt, you did not mention the model# for the Jayco Eagle
Watched this 4/2023 - could you give weights & # of slide-outs on each with descriptions?
Forest river salem hemisphere lite. With outdoor kitchen
Hey I like both this one and the 2600. I love the king size bed and the bathrooms. I like the theater seats, but miss the outdoor kitchen option.

Great video. What model was the Jayco trailer?
We like the grand design but is it to big for a 1/2 ton truck?

shout out to my mans barber fr. he did that. bless
Excellent review Matt to come up with the best 5 RV trailers as the market has unlimited options. I would go with option 4, keep up the good work!
Suggestion, what about a video about top 5 of 1/2 ton towable... Let us know
Me: **reading title** **Top 5 COUPLES trailers...**
Thumbnail: **shows huge camper with what looks like bunk bed**
First off, I 100% agree with your pick for #1.

270FKS by Salem Hemisphere or Heritage Glen is way better

Am a little prejudice, but we've the Imagine 3100RD and we love it very much! Maybe number 2 or 3 on your scale?!?! Keep up the great work!
Ray
Open range 322RLS is nice, and the Heritage Glen 270FKS
RIGHT, the 270FKS is a lot better than the FR Rockwood
My opinion, not what I was looking for. My 30’ bunkhouse was great for my 3 kids. Don’t need another 30’ for just us. Is there a list in the 20-24’ range?
What's the model number of the Jayco full timer?
Matt…do you know the model of the Jayco with the front windshield and bench seat?

I really really like number 4. I've been trying to look but can't find definitely information. Does number 4 have available washer and dryer hookup?
Where are the model numbers listed?

I'd love to see a budget version of this list. Love all these floorplans, but my wallet doesnt
I really hope that television is on a televator in that Imagine 3100RD
What do the Last 2 cost. There MSRP at least
I agree guys nice job

Looking for links to more information
Any thoughts on the 303 RKDS Catalina? I couldn’t find a review of this one. We need one with no front slide outs to reattach a deck
Would be nice if you gave the model numbers
Rockwood Signature 8263MBR is a true couples camper. No dinette. Bigger bathroom. Taller etc.
Do any of these TT's have an auto level system or is that something you have to add as an aftermarket deal?
Sorry Matt, any couples trailer with a dinette should be reversed off a cliff. What a giant waste of uncomfortable space.
What do you think about the Palomino Solaire 242 RBS would love to hear your opinion
9:30 Poiselin!!!???

Looking for rv 25 ft.
