    4:21 For folks who keep saying that fake producer Daz did Dogg Food. I told you that Priest did the whole Dogg Food album. He was the motherf&^^ musician for 90% of that album. How tf did Daz play any keys when he cant play keys? All Daz did was program some drums. Just like he programmed the drums for all the Murder Was The Case soundtrack beats with his name on them. But Priest played all the keys. Carl played all the percussion. WTF did Daz do????? Take What Would U Do. Snoop just said Daz brought that simple af drum pattern where the kick is on the 1 and 5. Snare is on the 3 and 7. Priest played all the keys. Dre put it all together. Why tf did Daz get all the credit??? He took that credit from Priest. Which is why Priest has been working with Snoop on pretty much all of Snoop's albums. Daz hasnt had his name on a Snoop album since Doggfather. Also, Daz hasnt had his name associated with any good post-Death Row beats, ever!!!!!!!!!!!! Because he's a fake producer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Listen to any of his 15+ bs albums after RR&GB. That bs doesnt sound like anything associated with his credits on Death Row albums.

    I'm GenX! Therefor, I from the generation when HipHop was created! Everything they said is 100% CORRECT!! To keep it simple, beat makers are to food prepper; like music producers are to chefs! A food prepper is responsible for making sure the Chef has all the freshest meats, fish, fruits and veggies as well as the latest and newest ingredients/condiments. But its the chef who turns it into a meal, that keeps people coming back to that restaurant! The same-thing as to a beat maker! They bring a new beat, riff or score from a record to a studio; but its the producer who turns it into a song that make the people say DAMN!!!

      RR&GB was produced by Priest. Daz just put his name on it. RAW is the start of Daz not having access to Death Row musicians and Priest. RAW sounds like s*&&@@blakefranklin882

    • @dianevrules
      @dianevrules 9 месяцев назад

      Also, Dre didnt do s8& to Mike Elizondo and Scott. They got their publishing/production/writer credits from Dre. they still work with dre to this day. Mike Elizondo made numerous hits with Pink etc. Scott made numerous hits with Beyonce, Chris Brown, etc. Because they are not just beat makers. They are musicians and real producers. Daz is a fake producer and just a drum programming who cant play any instruments.Not sure why yall give that fake producer any credit. Priest did 95% of the Death Row s&*&& with Daz's name on it. Death Row musicians did the rest.

    Snoop kept it a buck. Bravo!! Listen to the interviewer, he's like the emotional no nothing's in here. He's asking and doing that silly laugh shit and Snoop is cleaning that it up immediately. Just listen. The raw tracks are heard. Nothing any of them have done since or before it's in our near that Pristine level. Daz needs to give a lot more credit to Soopafly.

    I’ve heard demo versions of the tracks “produced” by Dre, and there isn’t ‘much’ change. Maybe polished up better with a layer or 2 added at certain parts but not like a night and day difference by any stretch

    • @joneseybaby8124

      Vocal production as well as hooks and polish go along way. Like Snoop said before these albums what hits did they have? My son brought me a COLD ASS sample the other day. I produced the beat and laced it. He’s not running around saying he produced it 😂😂😂. He like “I brought my dad the sample and he killed it” Facts. 🤷🏽‍♂️

  • @Godz_ROD
    @Godz_ROD 9 месяцев назад

    Producing a beat is still making a beat, and making a beat even though it may not be as hot to you the beat was produced by the beat maker as well. The beat maker should be co producer. An artist wouldn't understand that's why no producers saying wth snoop saying. Snoop is wrong and this is coming from someone who produce beats, and not every "beat maker" or persons who produced beat need assistance

  • @DFlowersMFN
    @DFlowersMFN 9 месяцев назад +1

    This is just wrong.
    So if Snoop or Kane brought me 3 verses and a hook, I change a few words and improve cadence slightly then put it out. They don’t deserve any credit?
    What they’re saying about producers and beat makers isn’t a lie. But inferring that the person who made the beat doesn’t deserve any credit is criminal. And these same dudes will cry to you about the label robbing them. Amazing.

    • @kkrobertson1
      @kkrobertson1 9 месяцев назад +2

      Nah brother; that copywriter infringement, that completely different from some one who brings a beat to a music producer.

    • @urbanflavorz
      @urbanflavorz  9 месяцев назад

      Your example has nothing to do with producer vs beat maker. No one said they don't deserve ANY Credit, they just don't deserve credit as co-producer. You still get credit specifically for what you did.

    • @joneseybaby8124
      @joneseybaby8124 9 месяцев назад

      So it should say Daz brought the sample to him. If that’s all he brought he didn’t produce it. He provided it to be produced on.

    This is bullshit. Dr. Dre. has put his name on so many producer's music. Snoop's record and the Chronic record are all samples. If Daz and others could afford to have their music mixed by high-powered engineers like Pensado. Dre. would have to find someone else to steal from. Do you not remember when above the law used to say on their records, "Dre don't bite my shit"

    • @urbanflavorz
      @urbanflavorz  9 месяцев назад +2

      Dre didn't Mix it he actually produced it. They would bring him the sample and he would change it up, add a chorus, tell the rapper when to come in and how to say it, add a flute sound. That is producing.

    • @dianevrules
      @dianevrules 9 месяцев назад +1

      OP is nuts. He's making up bs excuses. Internet says Daz's worth is 2 million. He's probably worth more. Mix engineer like Dave or any other top Grammy award winning mix engineer will charge 2k-5k per song.. Even I can afford that. Why cant Daz??? Also, IDGAF who Daz pays to mix his music. You cant polish a turd. Go listen to any one of the 15+ Non-Death Row Daz albums that were released. Go listen to that bs Daz & Lil Eazy E album. Bahahahahaha. I dont care who mix those songs. They will not sound like Death Row songs. Also, Cold 187 was referring to the style of G Funk from Black Mafia Life that was inspired for The Chronic. Dre never "stole" a Cold 187 beat. Before Above The Law came to Ruthless Records, Dre and Yella produced NWA, Eazy-E, The DOC, etc. No Above The Law album sounds better than any one of those Dre albums. Dre doesnt need to steal s&^^ from anyone lesser than him.
