I actually accidentally triggered a fairy proxy in my regular playthrough of Spyro 1 and it happened so fast I blinked and it was over, ended up clipping it and posting it to my channel bc I honestly couldn’t believe what I was seeing
Stop charging and press the direction you want to aim Spyro towards. Example: if you are going straight and you want to turn Spyro so that he is facing behind, stop charging and hold the down button on the dpad for bit. Spyro will quickly turn around towards the direction you are pressing. Will make more sense once you try it yourself.
@Leo Coviello the dude asked how to do movement shit and you straight up just said " don't speedrun the game " lol, as if because he learned how to stop charging, turn, and start charging again he MUST be speedrunning for his first playthrough. People are indeed entitled to their opinions, and in my opinion half this thread went over your head lol
You need to pay moneybags once you get to autumn plains to learn how to climb ladders. So in a speed run, you don’t want to have to go learn to climb ladders then go back to a level

I wish you would go into more detail on *how* to pull these tricks off correctly. For instance, wall gliding. How do you do it? You never say!

Yo do you know if any of these work on the Switch? That's the only console I have it on.
Does he need to glide and hover on that green gem? It looks like there is a ladder right there?
At that point in the game Spyro doesn’t know how to climb ladders so perfect hover is needed to get to the top
