His hands would be recognizable anywhere to me...also, he holds his fingers like a guitar player when he plays piano. 😊 (Nothing wrong with it, just something I notice.)
Nice observation! Someone else mentioned he had horrible technique, but that somehow it seemed to work. Must be a left over from being self taught!

His technique is not pretty, but seems effective enough. I hope he takes Charlie up on those lessons they discussed. I worry he will damage his hands by not relaxing his fingers in the years to come. But what do I know, I don't play myself, but I am getting arthritis, so I know how important fingers are!!
I have arthritis as well...it's no fun! Makes opening pickle jars really hard! lol
And lungs! My only beef with Ren and Sam Tompkins is that they smoke cigarettes. They have such beautiful voices! ❤

Ren can play piano, but it is probably without cause not his main instrument. But perhaps he has integratet these issues to let people like me doubt?
Actually, the only cut in the Money Game 3 was when the camera went behind the chair and between the orchestra. Sam said it was done for safety reasons...otherwise it's a one take.
You can watch ad nauseam Ren play the piece over and over in his MG3 behind the scenes videos. He practised none stop a few months before the shooting up until the day of shooting. That thin man sitting at the piano with Ren's hands flying up and down the keys is the one and only Ren. I never heard ANYONE but you say that was even in question. Not sure what you are trying to find but there is nothing but Ren playing the piano and Charlie taking over after that.

Ren was line dancing with Vik in Las Vegas. A couple other clips as well. He isn't a natural born dancer from my experience but he could learn anything for his videos. He was learning guitar, keys, singing, rapping, production, beats, sound engineering and didn't worry about dancing. Being sick over the years probably didn't give him much motivation for that either.
