I am 61 years old and I think this is the most important song of this decade. I am a huge progressive rock fan.... Rush, Yes, Dream Theater, Marillion ect.... I don't like rap at all, but I think this is on the level of a Bohemian Rhapsody or something like that for sure. I've literally listened to 40-50 reactions so far and have cried during each and every one of them.... I believe GOD will use this song to heal many.... There is victory in truth.... Praise Jesus

He had just made a contract with Sony, who dumped him as he got sick shortly after, he would probably have made more ‘safe’ music. Idk how anyone watches this and doesn’t cry. I know that we all struggle with our own demons. Right and wrong, evil and goodness. I think it’s why SO MANY people, regardless of political affiliations, preferred musical genres, race, sex, are all drawn to this song. This is the human experience. This is the human struggle that unites us ALL. Also, the speech at the end,; when I was a teenager I was deeply religious and I judged so many people for their “sins”, yet when I became a young adult, I had to walk the path of everyone I had ever judged - and all of them, what I did paled in comparison to the mistakes I made.

I think I did not the first time but I definitely choked up over the message and the unpredictable changes in movements and the raw emotion. But now rewatching tons of reaction movies it is very theraputic and actually does move me to tears repeatedly, to see the way it hits different people. I feel like I have a strong analytical wall built up and I have seen that in others. Likely a defense mechanism learned from the traumas of life.

This is art of transcendent beauty and an *important* song. Artists often struggle with imposter syndrome. There’s a movie starring Olivia Munn called “Violet” that rings of this and was a transformative experience for me… just as this song also resonates. As a person who’s never been able to escape imposter syndrome and negative self-talk, *realizing* that I can exert the strength that destructive voice questions-strength that I *know* I have-was sooo important. It takes time to push past the negativity-to make your own voice stronger, but if anyone out there is struggling with this, please please please *know* that you can do it. *Know* that I believe in you… but you don’t need me to-just like you don’t need the shroud of doubt that feels first of protection and then as a prison. You are *stronger* than that voice. You are stronger than you can *possibly* know… until you push back with softness or aggression-your choice.
Hey there Anaguel, This is my first time seeing your content but I initially watched because I absolutely love this song, I've seen at least 30+ react to it and listened to the song itself well over 150 times since it was released in December 2022. Yes I admit I have watched it 3 or 4 times a day sometimes as well xD This particular song is just so theatrically and artisically amazing in many ways and has so many different levels to it that you can;t really just focus on any single aspect of it being amazing, it's truly a masterpiece as far as I'm concerned and it's an opinion echoed by every reaction I've seen thus far. A little history lesson for you with Ren, when he 17 years old (he states this in the song as well) he was diagnosed with Lyme disease which initially went undiscovered and untreated and he was put on a series of anti-psychotics, anti-depressents etc. it was partly due to this misdiagnosis why his illness became so much worse and developed into auto-immunity, Doctors thought he was just crazy and it was all in his head but he knew something was wrong with his body, he was struggling to consume food and he was spending 23 hours a day some days in bed crying his eyes out (sounds a lot like depression to someone who has been through and still experiences depression amongst a multitude of other things to this day) so the misdiagnosis is understandableto a degree but also it was a failure with the NHS here in the UK (Ren lives in Wales). Ren has been undergoing treatment on and off at his own expense for a number of years now trying anything that could possibly make his health and life better in general, Spending £1000's on anything that may just improve even to the smallest degree, He is currently receiving treatment in Canada and could be there for upto 6 months (potentially longer according to his GoFundMe, Linked below if you want more in depth detail) and receives treatments on a daily basis. He was signed with Sony Music a long time ago but they dropped him as an artist when he spent a period of time extremely ill and couldn't produce content, since then though he busk's on the street's of his hometown, produces music like this independently of any label when he has the energy or power to do so and honestly he is such an inspiration because he proves that no matter what happens to you n your life, no matter what hurdles may appear along your journey you can succeed, you can improve your life even in what seem like perilous circumstances. Oh btw I subscribed to your channel, Thank you for your reaction it was awesome and I honestly don't blame you for crying, I did the first 10 - 20 times I heard the song xD Ren's GoFundMe (Already reached his goal but it does provide a lot of information for anyone who want's to know his story and if people want to help him with his treatment the option is there of course
You should not apologize for feeling empathy. This 50+ year old man who people think has a heart of stone has probably heard this song at least a hundred times in the last month. The majority of the time it makes me cry. I have loved ones who battle depression and bipolar disorder. It breaks my heart that they could feel anything like this.

Dude...I am a thrash/speed metal fan and like to pretend I'm a hard carnt... but this song destroyed me, had me whimpering like a farkin baby. :/. I have looked up at Michaelangelo's works on the roof of the Sistine Chapel...I have visited the Louvre in Paris and looked upon the Statue of David and the Mona Lisa...I have gazed in complete awe at The Coliseum in Rome... and this artwork hit me just as hard, deadset. my connection to this song is only the similarity of struggle,, i'm undiagnosed autistic and have struggled with being a bit weird my whole life i had to start my own business because i had problems holding a job with sleep disorders and high ethics.. but managed to stay in business the last 40 years without needing to advertise or even carry a card, i run a lawn and tree service, a 1st responder thru 40 years of hurricanes in fla ,and do all phases of construction and kind of an inventor on the side, after six years of development i figured out a disaster response product that could help millions worldwide .. then my insurance agent forgot to post a payment back in 2020 and the state took everything i worked the last 40 years for away .. stuck at home like a prisoner i came online and saw people helping others so i started making videos explaining what i was. trying to do to get help, and found out if the platform your uploading to doesn't promote you your just talking to your phone, and then i see stuff like this and get jealous because i will never write a song that gets peoples attn like this. so my chances of bringing my ideas to the world are fading. and it's scary as hell to think of all that could be, but it may all be lost because one person forgot to hit enter on there keyboard.. and my chances of succeeding alone are close to those of getting out of quicksand alone..

Odd comment I suppose, but I saw an asylum that looked that way once. They proposed it for a child I had who was struggling, but I couldn't do that to him. Good news is we were able to help him with God's help I am certain. I wonder if he would have went down that road what would have become of him. Chilling thoughts actually. An environment where dark things could happen. Prayer and hope, reassuring him, helping to speak against the voice can inspire someone if the can start to regain faith in themselves. We can always pray for others and they need allies in this against principalities and powers. Even if you don't know them personally pray for them, pray for the lost, the broken, that challenged. You should definitely be crying, not because it's sad though, but because it is just a raw expression of the realities we all face. But there is hope. The suffering we experience in life, and this is my opinion based on my own experiences and suffering, is what makes us the compassionate, loving, empathetic, and wise people we desire to become. I remember asking God to show me the people who needed help the most and to give me the tools to help them, because I didn't know how. This was after seeing a man flying a sign on the median on my way to work and wanting to help but not knowing how to help in a meaningful way. The result was I lost everything and spent a couple years living on the street myself. It was painful, but I can't imagine any other way I could have been able to be who I am today without that experience. And for the last 15 years I have been helping the people who need it the most. Never underestimate the value of hardship and suffering. But never pass up an opportunity to give a hand up to those who are.
I have learned from therapy to never apologize for crying. It is beautiful to allow the emotions to rush through you; we just can't allow them to linger around for too long. Thank you for a brilliant video.

This is art of transcendent beauty and an *important* song. Artists often struggle with imposter syndrome.
There’s a movie starring Olivia Munn called “Violet” that rings of this and was a transformative experience for me… just as this song also resonates.
As a person who’s never been able to escape imposter syndrome and negative self-talk, *realizing* that I can exert the strength that destructive voice questions-strength that I *know* I have-was sooo important.
It takes time to push past the negativity-to make your own voice stronger, but if anyone out there is struggling with this, please please please *know* that you can do it.
*Know* that I believe in you… but you don’t need me to-just like you don’t need the shroud of doubt that feels first of protection and then as a prison.

Hey there Anaguel, This is my first time seeing your content but I initially watched because I absolutely love this song, I've seen at least 30+ react to it and listened to the song itself well over 150 times since it was released in December 2022. Yes I admit I have watched it 3 or 4 times a day sometimes as well xD
This particular song is just so theatrically and artisically amazing in many ways and has so many different levels to it that you can;t really just focus on any single aspect of it being amazing, it's truly a masterpiece as far as I'm concerned and it's an opinion echoed by every reaction I've seen thus far.
A little history lesson for you with Ren, when he 17 years old (he states this in the song as well) he was diagnosed with Lyme disease which initially went undiscovered and untreated and he was put on a series of anti-psychotics, anti-depressents etc. it was partly due to this misdiagnosis why his illness became so much worse and developed into auto-immunity, Doctors thought he was just crazy and it was all in his head but he knew something was wrong with his body, he was struggling to consume food and he was spending 23 hours a day some days in bed crying his eyes out (sounds a lot like depression to someone who has been through and still experiences depression amongst a multitude of other things to this day) so the misdiagnosis is understandableto a degree but also it was a failure with the NHS here in the UK (Ren lives in Wales).
Ren has been undergoing treatment on and off at his own expense for a number of years now trying anything that could possibly make his health and life better in general, Spending £1000's on anything that may just improve even to the smallest degree, He is currently receiving treatment in Canada and could be there for upto 6 months (potentially longer according to his GoFundMe, Linked below if you want more in depth detail) and receives treatments on a daily basis.
He was signed with Sony Music a long time ago but they dropped him as an artist when he spent a period of time extremely ill and couldn't produce content, since then though he busk's on the street's of his hometown, produces music like this independently of any label when he has the energy or power to do so and honestly he is such an inspiration because he proves that no matter what happens to you n your life, no matter what hurdles may appear along your journey you can succeed, you can improve your life even in what seem like perilous circumstances.

You should not apologize for feeling empathy. This 50+ year old man who people think has a heart of stone has probably heard this song at least a hundred times in the last month. The majority of the time it makes me cry. I have loved ones who battle depression and bipolar disorder. It breaks my heart that they could feel anything like this.

I have looked up at Michaelangelo's works on the roof of the Sistine Chapel...I have visited the Louvre in Paris and looked upon the Statue of David and the Mona Lisa...I have gazed in complete awe at The Coliseum in Rome... and this artwork hit me just as hard, deadset. You say you shouldn't be crying. I say you shouldn't be apologizing for crying. You shouldn't apologize for feeling, or feel ashamed or feel the need to squash it down. This is music and art and if it moves you, let it move you. Be unapologetic about that. Know it is good to cry.
It's even more brave to put yourself being vulnerable out there. It's just a fraction of the vulnerability I imagine Ren has constantly putting himself out there. Humbling thoughts honestly.

my connection to this song is only the similarity of struggle,,
i'm undiagnosed autistic and have struggled with being a bit weird my whole life i had to start my own business because i had problems holding a job with sleep disorders and high ethics.. but managed to stay in business the last 40 years without needing to advertise or even carry a card, i run a lawn and tree service, a 1st responder thru 40 years of hurricanes in fla ,and do all phases of construction and kind of an inventor on the side, after six years of development i figured out a disaster response product that could help millions worldwide .. then my insurance agent forgot to post a payment back in 2020 and the state took everything i worked the last 40 years for away .. stuck at home like a prisoner i came online and saw people helping others so i started making videos explaining what i was. trying to do to get help, and found out if the platform your uploading to doesn't promote you your just talking to your phone, and then i see stuff like this and get jealous because i will never write a song that gets peoples attn like this. so my chances of bringing my ideas to the world are fading. and it's scary as hell to think of all that could be, but it may all be lost because one person forgot to hit enter on there keyboard.. and my chances of succeeding alone are close to those of getting out of quicksand alone..

Odd comment I suppose, but I saw an asylum that looked that way once. They proposed it for a child I had who was struggling, but I couldn't do that to him. Good news is we were able to help him with God's help I am certain. I wonder if he would have went down that road what would have become of him. Chilling thoughts actually. An environment where dark things could happen. Prayer and hope, reassuring him, helping to speak against the voice can inspire someone if the can start to regain faith in themselves. We can always pray for others and they need allies in this against principalities and powers. Even if you don't know them personally pray for them, pray for the lost, the broken, that challenged. We need each other sometimes. There is hope ...

You should definitely be crying, not because it's sad though, but because it is just a raw expression of the realities we all face. But there is hope. The suffering we experience in life, and this is my opinion based on my own experiences and suffering, is what makes us the compassionate, loving, empathetic, and wise people we desire to become.
I remember asking God to show me the people who needed help the most and to give me the tools to help them, because I didn't know how. This was after seeing a man flying a sign on the median on my way to work and wanting to help but not knowing how to help in a meaningful way. The result was I lost everything and spent a couple years living on the street myself. It was painful, but I can't imagine any other way I could have been able to be who I am today without that experience. And for the last 15 years I have been helping the people who need it the most.
Never underestimate the value of hardship and suffering. But never pass up an opportunity to give a hand up to those who are.
