The wfc/foc figures were such bangers, like 💯% accurate, even more accurate than transformers studio series characters.I hope that they will make him bigger and make his tank more accurate.

When I played the game I liked the mk1 design for Megatron and the Metroplex smashed him into pieces, then soundwave revived him by giving him an upgrade body. His upgraded body had a figure released called
“Planet X Pluto “ and it looks amazing
Some of you may notice this, but this design appears for a moment in the FoC game when Optimus Prime gets taken to face Megatron before he got crushed by Metroplex.
He has the design all the way up till that point. Though you see the arm of his FoC model poking out the ruble as an error as its not until a few chapters later when Soundwave and Co rebuild Megs in their workshop.
Let's gooo! That's my first ever Megatron figure and I still have him. He's I'm pretty good condition too.

The Earth spark Megatron Vehicle mode being that tilt rotor aircraft seems really cool.
I'd like to image if we got a new Cybertron game he would have an evil cybertronian version of the V-22 Osprey

All of which combined formed WFC Megatron and I'm in love with this design.

I feel like they could completely reuse this mold for the voyager but obviously change a few things for articulation as he'd be bigger it's a good mold that would benefit at a larger scale. Same for optimus. Sucked a little that the cybertron games didn't get the voyager treatment sooner.
They actually did do that but with soundwave in the fall of cybertron line, they scaled up the deluxe war for cybertron one and improved proportions making him more buff and adding in a lazarbeak that stores inside his chest. That fall of cybertron soundwave still stands as my main soundwave since the game designs are my favourite and it looks pretty well with the planet x ones

It was my 1st figure alongside WFC 'Bee that I bought when I decided to collect again Transformers.
Bought it in a Sellers store (now defunct) before going to see Tron Legacy in Imax 3d. Great times.

This is the Megatron figure I've had displayed since I got him all those years ago. Still one of my favorite figures.
I'm really hoping the studio series is a banger and maby hasbro could do war for cybertron game remastered.There hasn't been a transformers game in so long and it's way overdue besides the overarching copy only in japan
I always like the Wfc video game design. Especially the Decepticon logo on his back. It kinda looks like a tattoo.

I had this figure about ten years ago and I wish I would have held onto him, it's such a great Megatron figure.

I had this Megatron when I was a kid and then I sold all my Transformers but I'm getting them all back so

the woc-foc may have been mishanled as all hell, but they really gave the feeling of "humanoid robot that change into go-fast-mode" or "fly mode", or even "full focus fire" for the few that becomes tank like him, warpath or brawn
the newer version would bee a bit to close to SG megs to justifying it in close box deal, but the whole design is really good
the FOC design had a lot less charisma due to the need to look more like prime megatron, but this one is just a real nice self-contained bot

I think that the only figure that's truly shown the greatest quality of detailing for Megatron in the High Moon games is the Planet X adaptation for Fall of Cybertron Megatron
IM definitely excited for the studio series versions.
I have him and Prime love them Prime even with the complex transformation hes held up easy to change to alt mode Megatron not so much hours in hot water to keep it from snapping like a twig his shoulders and legs sound worst then yours scary .
I wanted this guy in the black redeco sooo much. I should have got a part time back then.

I still have mine. I wasn't a fan of the cybertronian toys, but I really like the Megatron toy.

I love this figure! Unfortunately mine is horribly yellowed on the back. I got him back before I knew that would happen to some figures, so I didn't protect him from the light! lol

I really hope these SS WFC figures are worth the wait. I want Shockwave, the Combaticons, the Seekers, Zeta Prime, Metroplex, Omega Supreme, Trypticon, the Dinobots (Lightning Strike Coalition Force), and many others
I also accediently left the instructions in the box when a put it in the bin
I'm most excited for bee, prime, rachet, shockwave, Megatron, and starscream if they release those
Gadzooks what a weapon. Kinda breaks your heart to know his new version is gonna do to his gun what SS Galvatron did to his AoE gun.
Here's to hoping for new molds that improve on the originals. But let's be realistic: they kinda screwed the whole pooch with the Fall of Cybertron versions of certain peeps. (Ex.: Optimus being smaller than before when he should've been bigger, Grimlock's T-Rex mode being so awful that it probably singlehandedly killed any chance of Hasbro's toy designers tryna do the other FoC Dinobots, Soundwave being bigger due to being a Voyager but having a wonky transformation due to a gimmick that hardly ever worked correctly, they ain't even TRY to do the spikier FoC revamp of Megatron, etc.)
The ol' skool figures were pretty great for the most part (though I feel that Optimus had one of THE most annoying transformations; the way most folks feel about the RotF Leader class is exactly the way I feel about the WFC Deluxe). Up until I got Siege Megatron, the WFC Deluxe Megs WAS my definitive CHUG Megs...though I'm highly tempted to revert back to WFC Megs + the FoC Seekers + FoC Shockwave; Siege Megs + ER Seekers + Siege Shockwave is okay...but it's not quite as consistent on cool factor. 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
I Remember when Emgo Review'd The WFC Optimus and He Bought The Battle Axe Add-On to Go Along with That Figure, Idk if The Battle Axe Add-On for WFC Optimus Prime Still Exists Despite that it's Been 10+ Years or so, But I Imagine'd it Doesn't Despite that

they should have spilt that fusion cannon into a cannon gun and the other piece as the fusion cannon. kind of a combines weapon split into two weapons my opinion. but this was a solid megatron fiqure i wished they did a Darker Gray, Purple and black color for this fiqure thou.

I want studio series protoforms one for the autobots and two more for the decepticons on decepticon protoform would be a regular foot soldier and the other decepticon protoform is a heavy protoform which is a long haul repaint

Beautifully done and so nostalgic. WFC Megatron was my first contemporary Transformer and I was impressed on all fronts by how cool and fun the toy was designed. Then I got a Transformers Animated Jazz... And those two kicked off my collection of hundreds.

I can't wait for the new versions of wfc an maybe foc figures to come out,,,,,,god those games were good, why don't they get another company to make something similar, with a good long single player story, an the same type of awesome multi player,,,,,,all it needs is a lot of characters, more weapons, add some new types of gameplay, an update the graphics a bit,
bam, guaranteed hit,,,
anyway for the figures, hopefully they are going to be a treat,
there is so many characters they can do there, an so many of the designs are epic, I hope they put good quality into them, make the big characters scale big enough, the deluxe should be the voyagers size, an so on, I doubt they will tho, I just think if they are bigger the transformations an everything else can look an work a lot better, because they have more room to play with,
also I am hyped for the studio series or rise of the beast version of scourge,
that looks like it will be an epic figure, hopefully it is a leader class,
so far from rise of the beast's, that, of course Optimus, an the new bumblebee are the only one's I have really wanted to see a figure of,
hopefully there is more that is really cool, it is a bit more difficult for me to get into the animal versions of characters,
some are ok,
but hopefully we get enough cool car etc. type transformer's,
there is so many thing's they could make that could be new unique an cool, sort of like the bayverse design's, they are really cool an unique,
matter of fact, that is what got me into collecting them,
well that an when I seen my favorite character soundwave in the wfc line, I just had to have it,
but something is so special about thr live action versions, hopefully that doesn't slow down too much,
I always love Transformers War For Cybertron/Fall Of Cybertron video game 🎮, each of them did have super cool design 🤩! Hopefully Hasbro and Takara Tomy can create War For Cybertron and Fall Of Cybertron Megatron in much larger version 😊.
I wouldn't be surprised if they just reissue these figures with maybe more paint details as the studio voyager class due to thier size. I hope not but wouldn't be surprised.

I actually used to prefer and like the fall of cybertron design better than the wfc design but this design looks awesome i think it looks better than the video game itself because I absolutely hated the head in the wfc game because I thought the helmet face cheeks looked big in the game so i prefer the toy head than the video game

We're getting a wfc studio series megatron before we get onslaught, junkheap or devcon. What a crazy world. Not that wfc Megatron is bad but I would think they would have gotten the movieverse characters out of the way first.
Okay, the sped up parts did make me laugh. Hopefully the new figures will be great too.

2:43 ? This is his WFC mode, not FoC, and there was no "regular and hover tank" mode. He was just a Cybertronian tank, and they didn't have treads, they all hovered. The treads were probably just something they put on this figure so kids could roll it around.
Edit: Megatron definitely has the better robot mode between him and that Optimus figure. Optimus was kibble city, this Megs is literally kibble free in his Robot mode.

I wish Activision just let High Moon studio alone and gave them the rights to continue on with Transformers game, especially them finishing off the Transformers Cybertron trilogy. Even to an Xmen game as well. That being said, it is never too late to put High Moon studio and it's creative leads and talents to do an Xmen game or another Transformers. If Activision gets the rights back from the respective owners.
My wfc prime which also happened to be my only wfc figure got dog’d which really sucked
Freaking love this guy! One of my favorite Deluxes from the time and extremely accurate. Only complaints I have is that the arm articulation, while not bad, is a tad limited, the cannon is a bit too large, and I'm not a fan of the hands. But those are very minor! Very interested to see what the SS version does!
