He’s a fan of many teams but one of his favorites are definitely our Devils cause of how hard he gets on us and his expectations of us and how much he raves about our glory days and he picked us to win the Cup last year! He didn’t pick us this year but we’re slowly creeping back up to him fan boying on our Devs 😂 we will win the Cup
Okie born n raised in Plainfield, NJ- my uncle would give us season tix 4 seats for meadowlands Devils games back in the day 1980's and we watched history with the Red and Green!
@@runninwiththedevilsi know the feeling Ace nothing like a Meadowlands tailgate 🥘 🍱 all I did or had to do was know a season ticket holder that they know of or have seen and i got offered so much damn good food! That chicken Parmesan was fantastic(back in the 1990s)

Ace, I really like the team as constituted, I do wonder how they will perform in the playoffs. The bottom six scoring has dried up a bit, and MacDermid will be more of a fixture, will the bottom 6 be able to kick it up in April-June? Excited to find out . Let's go Devils

I heard that Brady Tkachuk allegedly told the Ottawa media that he has no desire to go to New York or anywhere else. Regardless, I just don’t see him being moved anytime soon. Glad you thoroughly spoke about the Canes- personally, & I can only speak for myself, i hate the Canes WAY more than the Rangers at this point. I absolutely want to go through them in playoffs, not because i believe we win or even easily, but I need to see a NJD team beat the Canes in my life. When they did it in 2001, i was in college & was partying TOO much to remember ANY of that series anymore lmao

Good work Ace. I have similar playoff thoughts, I never wanna see the Hurricanes. I think Brind'Amour is one of the best coaches in the league. I knew they would still be good this year, but did expect a bit of a fall off with all the talent they lost. Lightening have given us issues too. Guys I would love to grab at the deadline, but are both reaches. But would have to take some FitzMagic. Both different players but can bring a lot to a third line. Ryan O'Reilly or Kyle Palmieri. Looks like we have about 1.2 million in cap. So it would be difficult. But Palms is on an expiring contract, I wouldn't mind moving some prospects. ( I do not have anyone in mind but wouldn't touch Nemec/Casey). Trotz also said he is thinking he will need to completely rebuild Nashville. Lets keep it rolling boys! Starts tomorrow in St. Louis!

I liked Palms when he was here, but I would prefer a bigger, more physical player for playoff WAR. O'Reilly fits the bill. Adding anyone is going to be a challenge because of Cap limitations. I can't see Lou sending Palmieri here to help us unless we vastly overpaid. Nashville is a complete disaster. I feel bad for their fans....ALMOST. You always forget about Canes Devils 2006 series and especially game 2 when the Devil took the lead with 19 secs to go in the 3rd period to only concede a tying goal 3 secs before the game ends and lose in OT eventually and the series and Canes went on to win the Cup😂. And that 2006 Devils teams was soooo good! One of the Cups favourites

Nah, I'm the one confused. The stick throw was from a 2009 GWG with 0.2 seconds left against the Canes, Game 4. Either way, I hate that team and 2006 was painful.

Idk 🤷🏾 maybe I’m tripping but if Hughes and Bratt keep playing at this pace/level of elite then I don’t think us current not having a strong and reliable 4th line will affect us in the playoffs
@QueensNewYorkguy It's funny you mention that. This morning I was thinking along those lines. As long as the 4th line is not a liability, I believe the team can go far with most of the offensive production coming from the Top 3 lines/occasionally the D. ESPECIALLY if the Power Play picks back up. The 4th line must be true grinders though. Gotta be very difficult to play against. LET'S GO DEVILS!!!
