General question, what is the small holy nova like effect that you have on every heal? Also if they made it possible for hpally to use shield of righteousness through a player that has the bulwark or use crusader strike through a player who has the sword would make that so fun, because it would give you the ability to either spend or generate holypower from range.
Great tips. Have always played Holy Paladin but I prefer a ranged variant (with occasional melee) rather than a full on melee build.. it felt great why they have to nerf everything so hard lol. Seems like I will have to learn the Shaman basics

I'm gonna be healing on rdruid a lot just because their throughput is gonna be insane in tww. But def not the easiest to use in high keys. They also made farcasting par to catweaving for dps, it regens mana and heals during mark now. Fun class ❤
I don't mind the reworked Afflicted since it is on party members, I can see it in my UI. The biggest problem was that you had to make UI adjustments just to be able to deal with Afflicted.
As long as Hpala doesn't get another nerf, I will be maining Hpala, if they end up nerfing it it will be an uh-oh for me, because Priests are also bad. I got night shifts since this week so am kind of forced to pug since will be around when my friends aren't. I never really played or enjoyed MW and Rshaman, so will likely be one or the other if Hpala get nerfed more since MW looks a lot more fun since DF and Rshaman looks a lot more fun with Hero Talents.
What is the best addon that tells you when poisons and dispels needed. I assume it's weakauras but I find it overwhelming to set up. Where can I find the best way to set up weakauras for healing or any addon suggested.
@@vanguelisk yeah that's been the problem with dispelling for a while now. Wanting a dispel every 8 seconds ontop of pumping healing and adding dps is overloading the healers responsibilities.
i will be maining resto shaman which i have mained since the end of wotlk with the exception of a few patches (hunter) and most likely also push with my priest as well.
I find it interesting, as a pugger I find resto druid healing easier than resto shaman, probably because of our set bonus, I feel I have more time to focus on other stuff like interrupt/dmg/cc than healing as druid
I think the druid one click macro thing was changed because the one hero tree makes it so you auto shift on using moves. So they nerfed the entire class to make a hero tree work and then they wonder why we dont like the hero trees. Note: my opinion, possibly incorrect.
Start playing during SL only reason i made rshaman and main it ever since. Can deal with everything kick stun cc. Just wish i could deal with every single dispel and it would be perfect( bleed and disease)
started healing on prevoker for the frist time ever this last 2 tier of DF then Mistweaver, Now looking to play Hpal but it's so hard to select when you're trying to find a raid and be viable in m+
i agree, i am done with priests until blizz gets off their asses and gives other healers the spotlight. It's always the same classes at the top and trying to get into keys as a holy priest is miserable. People will roll the S tier healers and get into keys playing like ass, while a well experienced holy priest spends their day waiting for a chance.
I like holy priest for the simplicity and its a fun spec with all those fast casts and instant casts, can do decent dmg in healing downtimes and i enjoyed it all the way through s4 but the lack of an interupt is heavy but i really picked up resto shammy its just a joy for me to play it sooooo much utility, big aoe heals, cloudburst totem is awesome good variety with riptide and chain heal, the health buffs, 12s interupt good crowd control and also decent dmg but it doesnt stop there i could add soo many more reasons why shaman is perfect heal like you got ALOT cds for healing and defensive, a totem that allows ppl that die to ankh which is very useful in some pug situations on bosses ofc you got your own ankh and also great mobility and even bloodlust I played holy priest alot in s4 now at ilvl 525 but damn i handle pulls on my shammy better at lvl 510 pulls that i as holy priest would always respect but resto shammy with all that utility and straight healing power is just broken rn
Basing a healer off not having blood lust or battle rez.... there's going to be a million other classes in your group with battle rez and bloostlust. Who cares.
Proactive healers are somewhat dependant on the quality of their groups too. So it's understandaable that they are ranked lower in the context of this video.
Shaman my favorite right now. Mistweaver monk was fun but didn't have as much utility as shaman. I like holy paladin but it was much higher apm then shaman so I lean more towards shaman as my goto.
I don't care where preservation evoker is ranked. It's a fun and unique spec, yes agree with annoying with the range but so what ? would be nice to have higher range but that doesnt change the fact that evoker is amazing fun to play. Mained all Dragon flight and will keep maining it
The PI answer is just such a cop-out. They already nerfed PI and as you said it isn't going to help people survive. Mass Dispel is not 2 minutes, because again....." over powered". I do not even get where the devs think anything Priest is overpowered :/
Could just overlap the cast time with some totem healing. And once you have enough haste, the cast time really isn't that noticeable if you're quick enough to place it.
i 100% agree with your preservation evoker ranking the range limit in pug will get tiring really really quick . yeah you can work around but sometime you will not and you will get mad as hell. i also think their hps is one small nerf away to being 'normal'. prez pump BIG when everything align (group packed/essence pooled right/CD up) but i feel it pump a bit too much to not get looked at and if it's hit with the infamous 'healing -5%' blizzard trademark balancing pattern you are back into the 'meh' zone
You remove the range limit and you need to remove the mobility. I have mained preservation since it came out, first time I play an entire expansion without having alts. I did the keystone master and conqueror every season this expansion and I didn't feel much of a problem. The biggest issue were hunter players that want to shoot the boss from Australia, but they learn quickly if they are over there they're going to be very dead. I like the identity of running and flying around the battle field. I wish people would just learn the class and stop crying about their identity. I've had plenty of fun and I'm looking forward to more next expansion. If you don't like the class, just don't play it, don't ask them to make them the same as every other healer.
@@LexussDaines amen. If players in your group know about what range you operate in, then it is up to them to stick closer together. I also think 1 important thing has been left out here, and that is that Pres needs very litle time drinking and has 2 very good tank externals making you able to keep tanks up easier, allowing you to focus on topping the rest of the party off aswell. The class also has a b res and does significant damage, not to mention the highest HPS, and plays well from being lower geared. Im a happy Evoker main for TWW.
To put flourish on the same node as photosynthesis is completely mind-boggling, and the person to make that decision should not be allowed to have any further say in any of the specs ever again
Yeah I think they belong in the A+ tier. Their spot tank healing with golden hour is absolutely insane, and can carry bad tanks easily. I would avoid full range groups however. I also think resto druids don't really bring much in terms of healing capability to an uncoordinated group. I feel like they are ranked high only because Mark of the wild is such a strong buff.
@@CapntSpankey Happy to help! Echo + Reversion is the play if you want to spot heal someone after big damage. Its pretty much an external Death Strike. I'm really excited about the Flameshaper talent that makes your Renewing Blaze heal an ally. Putting that + Time Dialation on a tank will make you both almost invincible for its duration.
@@CapntSpankeystick with pres. it took me a while to click with it, but it’s a blast once you get all the good combos down and understand what to use for different situations. It’s very rewarding skill expression.
Just give priests an interrupt I don't think PI is a big enough thing to have silence not be included in the baseline kit. Shamans have stun, knockup, roots, slows, speedup totems + shortest CD silence. Evokers have insane utiltiy as well Priest has PI and fear and mass dispel
Oracle hpriest for M+ is actually doing nuts dmg and nuts healing while still having ok utility like PI, Reduce defensives, GS for tank... It's literally a sleepy op spec but ppl is following the wrong tier lists.
Pres evoker NEEDS to have more utility or HPS, they have about 40% of the effective area compared to other healers, or other healers have 350% more area coverage compared to evokers, so if they don't pump, they would not be brought, having Aug get more range is a slap in the face
17:29 Sad, that Preservation Evoker made it through all of Dragonflight, and not once did Dev Team address the range the limitations that the community has been asking for.
I no lifed pres in pugs during s1 DF, got to maybe 2.8k rating ish. The range really never was an issue. Most ranged dps will listen if you tell them at the start to not be waaaaay out. It’s such a fun class I’d never avoid it because of range.
The argument that holy priest have PI so they don´t deserve interrupt makes no sense to me. Shadow priest has Power Infusion to dish out AND an interrupt... long cooldown, yeah.. but they have one... sadge :/
It's very sad that Pres has range issues, which is the only thing that makes Pres hard btw, once you learn it its quite fun, and then have a both pala and monk meleeing and healing at 40 yard range... It's going to be one of those things that blizzard will stand ground on and then keep giving priests and druids all the buffs and talents they need to be the best in every situation in both pvp and pve. Shamans are going to be OP for 1 season and Paladins maybe 2 seasons. They it will go back to druids and priests being the top healers in pve and pvp with paladins in 3rd place, as per usual.
I get scared of resto shaman because I don't have multiple foot pedals yet (if glydr hits the market, I'm gonna have so many keybinds with my feet it's crazy, so we'll see then) xD
People are so hung up on fistweaving in M+. But my god they are sleeping in caster healing in M+. You pump out so much insane healing numbers so easily you really can push through anything. All your hots spreading automatically and all your hots and heals cleaving on everyone else is obscene especially during Yulon.
Would *you* give up Power Infusion for an interrupt? 🤔

I don't mind the reworked Afflicted since it is on party members, I can see it in my UI. The biggest problem was that you had to make UI adjustments just to be able to deal with Afflicted.
I agree with the list, may even put Pres in A tier though.
32:55 I was being extra safe due to range limitations especially with pugs but Pres is probably closer to A than B 🔥
@@MadSkillzzTV That’s fair. Looking forward to season 1 now.
Choice node on PI or interrupt is kinda genius tbh
Hey @MadSkillzzTV might sharing your Elvui profiles pls ? Can't find it in your healer addon&UI video. Thx !
Priest should get a spell that gives a party member a kick reset within 10 sec of receiving the spell on a 1 min cd. Change my mind
What is the best addon that tells you when poisons and dispels needed. I assume it's weakauras but I find it overwhelming to set up. Where can I find the best way to set up weakauras for healing or any addon suggested.
For the new affix and dispel, every healer has a dispel of some form baseline correct?
Yeah, but you got to blast heal most of the party anyway
@@vanguelisk yeah that's been the problem with dispelling for a while now. Wanting a dispel every 8 seconds ontop of pumping healing and adding dps is overloading the healers responsibilities.
i will be maining resto shaman which i have mained since the end of wotlk with the exception of a few patches (hunter) and most likely also push with my priest as well.
what tanks do you seeing having the hardest time and or easiest time while youve been healing
I find it interesting, as a pugger I find resto druid healing easier than resto shaman, probably because of our set bonus, I feel I have more time to focus on other stuff like interrupt/dmg/cc than healing as druid
was this posted before the new patch notes?
Would love to play resto shaman but there’s wayyyy too many buttons so not doing it until they reduce the ungodly amount of keybinds.
Of course when I switch off sham for CE to hpally , hpally gets cooked and sham is insane
Does this tierlist include last paladin nerfs?
started healing on prevoker for the frist time ever this last 2 tier of DF then Mistweaver, Now looking to play Hpal but it's so hard to select when you're trying to find a raid and be viable in m+
Im Gonna main Preservation Evoker .. cause im kind of sick how BLizzard treats priest for all those years and Dragon is just soo much fun
i agree, i am done with priests until blizz gets off their asses and gives other healers the spotlight. It's always the same classes at the top and trying to get into keys as a holy priest is miserable. People will roll the S tier healers and get into keys playing like ass, while a well experienced holy priest spends their day waiting for a chance.
yeah but it looks so bad xD
I like holy priest for the simplicity and its a fun spec with all those fast casts and instant casts, can do decent dmg in healing downtimes and i enjoyed it all the way through s4 but the lack of an interupt is heavy but i really picked up resto shammy its just a joy for me to play it sooooo much utility, big aoe heals, cloudburst totem is awesome good variety with riptide and chain heal, the health buffs, 12s interupt good crowd control and also decent dmg but it doesnt stop there i could add soo many more reasons why shaman is perfect heal like you got ALOT cds for healing and defensive, a totem that allows ppl that die to ankh which is very useful in some pug situations on bosses ofc you got your own ankh and also great mobility and even bloodlust
I played holy priest alot in s4 now at ilvl 525 but damn i handle pulls on my shammy better at lvl 510 pulls that i as holy priest would always respect but resto shammy with all that utility and straight healing power is just broken rn
I pug as a holy priest, the class is easy to play, but hard to master. The spec does need interrupt and/or a combat rez
Here's to praying resto shaman doesn't dominate first week of hc raid, otherwise nerfs inc
Basing a healer off not having blood lust or battle rez.... there's going to be a million other classes in your group with battle rez and bloostlust. Who cares.
Proactive healers are somewhat dependant on the quality of their groups too. So it's understandaable that they are ranked lower in the context of this video.
*cries in priest*
Wtb priest changes
Same. Holy priest main here. Might switch back to shadow
Enjoyed whammy in s4 but dislike the constant healing rain cat time whilst group is getting twatted… so stoked for totemic!
Could just overlap the cast time with some totem healing. And once you have enough haste, the cast time really isn't that noticeable if you're quick enough to place it.
you can heal ranged on mistweaver for those dungeons where melee is dangerous
i 100% agree with your preservation evoker ranking
the range limit in pug will get tiring really really quick . yeah you can work around but sometime you will not and you will get mad as hell.
i also think their hps is one small nerf away to being 'normal'. prez pump BIG when everything align (group packed/essence pooled right/CD up) but i feel it pump a bit too much to not get looked at and if it's hit with the infamous 'healing -5%' blizzard trademark balancing pattern you are back into the 'meh' zone
Im still in between hpal and rsham, tough choice to be made!
Do we know which healer does the most damage in M+ at the moment?
Glad they fixed rshamans. But if your pug cannot press their buttons correctly no one can save them.
To put flourish on the same node as photosynthesis is completely mind-boggling, and the person to make that decision should not be allowed to have any further say in any of the specs ever again
Ita called flourish not nourish.
Not everyone enjoys photosynthesis gameplay though. They want lifebloom to be used on tanks.
Pres seems like the strongest hps healer in m+ to me. Just from what I’ve played. Druid ranking seems fair, can be rough.
@@blomeh1 Hey I appreciate the info. Pres Evoker learning the ropes and these tips were great. Cheers
Shaman is just my jam😊
R shaman has been an easy 3k io pugging for about 5 seasons in a row for me.
I might try shammy and maybe pres or mistw but I can't still let go of druid.
disc ftw
Sh!t happens… i main Disc 🤙🏻
@@92witzi there is some time until expansion..maybe more buffs
I might alt rsham, but got no clue how to do big burst heal in a raid 😢 and the spe has so many buttons
Just give priest an interrupt already.
We all know that the people will main that healer that is meta or otherwise they would not be invited in high keys.
😂😂😂😂😂
Just give priests an interrupt I don't think PI is a big enough thing to have silence not be included in the baseline kit.
Shamans have stun, knockup, roots, slows, speedup totems + shortest CD silence.
Evokers have insane utiltiy as well
Priest has PI and fear and mass dispel
Oracle hpriest for M+ is actually doing nuts dmg and nuts healing while still having ok utility like PI, Reduce defensives, GS for tank...
It's literally a sleepy op spec but ppl is following the wrong tier lists.
Pres evoker NEEDS to have more utility or HPS, they have about 40% of the effective area compared to other healers, or other healers have 350% more area coverage compared to evokers, so if they don't pump, they would not be brought, having Aug get more range is a slap in the face
I kinda just want you to do an Arnold Schwarzenegger impression :)
Wish they would stop nerfing Holy pally. Give back the range and healing buffs. Also, at least for me, I had mana issues on beta.
Holy and Disc always at the bottom. Like always 😂😂😂
Needs a razor naga to play it
Best HPS heler ?
I play caster monk, the healing is just ridiculous the damage isn't great but If you want to just mainly be a reactive healer I highly recommend
People are so hung up on fistweaving in M+. But my god they are sleeping in caster healing in M+. You pump out so much insane healing numbers so easily you really can push through anything. All your hots spreading automatically and all your hots and heals cleaving on everyone else is obscene especially during Yulon.
@@Onibachido you just run the 'raid' build in M+ for this or do you have a different set up? Mind sharing the export code?
I really don't understand why healers don't all have brez... feels so bad as a healer not being able to brez
