I think that one of the best aspects of your wardrobe is how 'mix and match' your separates are. I am trying to get my head around 'why' most everything you own goes so well with every other thing. Maybe you could address this sometime in a video; that is, how to choose separates that go well together no matter how you put them together. Also love your use of jewelry (and sometimes footwear) to dress up/dress down a look.
We tend to forget that color of our hair can be a match with same color of something we are wearing. Your almost black color look great with that red skirt, black bag and black boots
Yes! I LOVE seeing people wear clothes or accessories that match their hair. It looks so harmonious, and makes sure that the PERSON is part of the look, not just wearing the look.

All the outfit formulas are equally good across board. Now my favorite outfit was the first one with the wide leg pinstripe pants and horizontal stripe top. I have 2 tops with those exact strips and will like to try that look out. I might come up with an interesting look. While watching this video on using what you already have to create holiday outfits, I was struck by how many outfit vibes will be "ruined," by having to remove our shoes on entering a home with such a rule. What suggestions can you give so that even without shoes we can retain our festive look? Any ideas?
ugh yes. I always ask the host what their shoe policy is (some people are ok with shoes but not heels for examples) and then I build it around that. I also have a pair of "indoor" flats - that are pointed toe metallic and work with pretty much everything so as not to ruin a look's vibe! I hope this helps!

Hi Catherine! Thank you! Great question - yes - most faux leather is PU which is plastic - including these. (Good news though! There have been great advancements in the use of pineapple, cactus, and apple leather which is awesome) I don't usually go for *new* faux leather - these are secondhand. When something is secondhand, I relax my criteria (I'll even wear a secondhand fast fashion piece if its well made and if i love it, for example) because my values are about using what's already been produced/using what we have. I prefer to help reduce demand for overproduction by keeping clothes that were already produced in circulation. This is such a nuanced question and can really depend on someone's values. Im so glad you asked it and I hope this provides a bit of clarity! xx

Hi Catherine! Thank you! Great question - yes - most faux leather is PU which is plastic - including these. (Good news though! There have been great advancements in the use of pineapple, cactus, and apple leather which is awesome) I don't usually go for *new* faux leather - these are secondhand. When something is secondhand, I relax my criteria (I'll even wear a secondhand fast fashion piece if its well made and if i love it, for example) because my values are about using what's already been produced/using what we have. I prefer to help reduce demand for overproduction by keeping clothes that were already produced in circulation. This is such a nuanced question and can really depend on someone's values.
