Thanks Amelia! This is what we do in the live Shop Your Closet events:) Everyone who buys a ticket gets the inspiration looks in advance of the event so they can interpret it at home, then all of the submitted looks are shared the day of the event. It's the most inspiring part! :)

Yes, I love love love how you encourage creativity instead of consumption in your videos. Your messages in these last two videos have made me feel good. I want to continue getting ideas without being made to feel like I'm lacking in my wardrobe and need to buy something new alll the time. I love that you are using your interpretations based on what YOU are comfortable in and what WE all have in our closets. AND no, we don't all live on the runway THANK GOD... I would be ostracized most days....work from home LOL.... BUT when and if I am able to get out during this pandemic... I do love to still look stylish and flex with what works for me. i am an 80's girl and 55 isn't always easy on us 80's girls that still want to look and stay stylish. Great video!

I would’ve worn the first outfit with a trench instead of a wool coat, but I like the coloring and the brown loafers. I also liked the very last look and the adjustments you made. It really came out great.

I love how easy you explain looks and apparel statements, it would be very challenging for me if I tried doing it. The 2nd look is conservative, but at the same time soooo sexy! I love the transparency of the skirt, I would wear that on a cold date night.
I think it might also be nice to do a "fun" sock with look #1 as it's a fairly plain look.

It’s wonderful how you take those looks and tailor them to your own style. I saved the Brunello I can’t remember the last name picture as one of my fall inspirations. It reminded me of the thirties forgotten man. A much more cleaned up version. I’m thinking the word deconstruct instead of decompose? Decompose reminds of the Summer of George from Seinfeld 🤣 Great video. Love all the looks 💝

Lovely! At the beginning of the pandemic, I cleared out a lot of old clothes for charity, then started combining the rest in ways I hadn’t before. It’s amazing how many new outfits you can have, and also combine unusual colour and texture combos too.
Looks were a hit. Love the urban simplicity!
Good one, Alyssa. I finally know now that we are truly opposite. I LIVE in the style you quickly jumped over Leggings, skirt or longer top over that, and short jacket over that. Yip. That one. Bahaha. 💖

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! Frumpy Mom here....trying to up her clothing/fashion game. All three of these outfits I have stuff in my wardrobe that can make this happen. I have two pairs of lovely leather pants I have yet to wear....( a sale I felt I shouldn't pass up) didn't want to l look slutty or like I was trying to look younger than I am ( 45 ). This look is doable and makes sense for my age. Thank you! :)

I love your fashion styles and excellent ideas. I find adding just a few pieces to your wardrobe that goes with what you already have can make a difference. It can be shoes, accessories, purses or bags etc.

Fantastic ideas! These are so practical and relevant to my style tastes and what’s already in my closet that I saved the video into a playlist 🙂. I can re-create that black monochrome look with both black and grey hand knit skirts I knit over the past year (one has a lace edge and the other is a fitted midi-length with a slit) and commercial sweaters I have. That last look is a great way to layer a denim jacket over a sweater and black jeans or thick leggings I have, along with either my cognac brown Frye harness boots or some gray knee-high boots that I’ve been wearing (always in style where I live) since I bought them. Or, even, my Doc Martin dupes - will have to try them all!

Where have you been all my life? I feel like you were that really cool girl in junior high and high school who wore these clothes that you never saw in the mall but had amazing style. I’m seeing fashion through a whole new light and I love the idea of where people can post their inspiration from watching your videos because I cannot wait to throw a Jean jacket under a winter coat now😍

I just got a new idea on how to wear my black leather straight leg pants! Thank you for realistically interpreting these runway looks for us every day people. I really like the second look, the black monochrome, but I don’t think it would be very realistic for my life because I find when I took sweaters in this fashion to avoid bulk, they don’t stay too well when I’m moving around and doing life with my kids. Maybe for Sunday at church or going out on my own. I find I gravitate more for full tuck or just a front tuck to be more effortless. I always learned so much from your videos and you inspire me so much to style my own wardrobe and where is I haven’t even thought of or considered! Since watching your videos, I have certainly bought far less than ever before.
