You are so welcome! It really depends on what POD site you are on and your skill level.... I'm going to assume that the person has no design skills and is not on Amazon. Do you have a suggestion? I thought republic would deal with the marketing part, without me uploading sharing my designs on other social medias!
Your store should be visible after about 2 weeks or less.... as far as showing up in search, that only happens with you are in the artisan category. That can take some time. You will have to be creating designs that people want to buy
I found your video because I am getting to the point where I think I may have to create my own art for the shirts I keep hoping someone else will design XD. Is that a terrible reason to start a store on Teepublic? I love classic PC games but that's a much smaller and older fan group. How long do they take to review a design before you know if it's okay to sell on the site?
TeePublic doesn't take long to review designs. Creating your own art for is great and have a set topic is an awesome way to start. Design for what you are passionate about.
So TeePublic shirt sales are always $4 profit unless it's on sale, then you get $2 per sale.... By contrast if you have a $19.99 on Amazon you will get almost $5 and if you sell it at $20.99 on Amazon you will get above $5 per sale.
I’m having a problem where the previews of my designs look pixelated. The “how to upload” part of the faq says you can use 150 or 300 dpi. Could it be because I used 300 dpi?
It depends... Did you check your designs before uploading them? What size did you build them in? If you made them in inches then yes... 300 dpi. If you made them in Canva, sometimes they don't give you the full size you created the design at.
Hi Sir, I am doing design with canva. The designs for Teepublic need to be done in 5000 pix X 5500 pix. as the instruction given. But canve not support to resize such scale. Hi Juna, I do a lot of work with public domain customized for my needs but ...is that going to work for Teepublic? I am not a commercial artist I create most of my designs on Canva.
Hi do I need a liability insurance too, for this business? Also how do you retrieve the saved designs. I saved one design but I am unable to find it, have no idea where they are saving it.
You can have insurance if you want but it's not required..... I would suggest saving your designs on your computer or a hard drive if you are creating on a mobile device.

Hi, Thank you for this informative video. I have a question: I have been selling png file digital designs and printable arts on Etsy since 2020. Can I use those designs if I start a print on demand on TeePublic and Amazon? Thank you so much for your time and effort to answer my question. God bless you always.
There seems to be quite a few designs that have copyrighted material...i.e. things that are from Sesame Street for example. Don't they have copyright issues?
Yup.... TeePublic and RedBubble are pretty bad at removing those but that doesn't mean you should do them... it just means those guys didn't get remove yet.... stay safe
You are probably talking about the product pages... yes when you search for a mug or another product you will see that product but when you got to their store front you will only see the designs as thumbnails.

We appreciate your honesty 👍👍🌱✨
Always!
What is "sale" meaning in earning table ? Is it discount or somenthing ?
Yes... so when a product is on sale you don't get the full $4 per shirt... you only get $2.
@@DetourShirts thank you

what do you think some designer of teepublic asking why they store or design not showing in teepublic marketplace?
Yeah... it happens... I guess with all the designs out there it's not a guarantee that your design will show up in search
Hi Sir, I am doing design with canva. The designs for Teepublic need to be done in 5000 pix X 5500 pix. as the instruction given. But canve not support to resize such scale. So please advise what can i do and advise if any site which i can use for design resize. Your favourable answer in this matter is highly appreciated. hanks.
4500x5400 work for me... try that
Hello Detour Shirts, I have a question: it is necessary to have a previous store to use Teepublic or it is like Redbubble? Thanks in advance to the attention to my question. Greetings from Portugal
You don't need a previous store.... you just have to sign up
How do you get to print your design on both sides of the coffee cup?
You create a new design with 2
I just saw a video that TeePublic doesn't do design on both sides of mug.@@DetourShirts
I register my self on teepublic today only i am am facing a problem .When i public my design teepublic is saying activate or configure atlest one product.
Try another design?
Hi Juna, I do a lot of work with public domain customized for my needs but ...is that going to work for Teepublic? I am not a commercial artist I create most of my designs on Canva.
It could... it's hard to say because I don't know what your design looks like but if you cater to the audience on TeePublic you should do well
Sounds like a great idea, so how can I do this since I’m on Tee Public 💡
Follow the tutorial
Thanks for sharing your experience. ❤️

Hi
Which is good
Tee spring or teepublic
I personally like TeePublic better.... but everyone has what works for them.
So how do you get paid? How does the money get to you?
Sometimes a bank account transfer, sometimes PayPal.... depends on the POD site
Can you please tell me if I have to put my address and what if I don't live in the countries provided?
Ohh... I'm not sure about that, sorry..... that will have to be a question for the Facebook group
I have question as you know Redbubble price we can up and down so Teepublic price can control artiest price like Redbubble or not
Nope... TeePublic prices are set depending on your category.... Artisans get $4 for each shirt sold ($2 if it's on sale)..... Apprentices get $3 for each shirt sold ($1 if it's on sale)... Here's a link...www.teepublic.com/earnings
I have a new store and have been trying to upload images for the cover photo and avatar, but when I click on the upload button, it just dithers out, and I'm not able to upload anything. Any ideas how to fix this?? TIA for any help!!
Are you making it the right size? Sometimes it dithers out when it's not the right size.
@Detour Shirts thanks for always responding to questions!!! So greatly appreciated!!! Well, I did figure it out. For some reason I could not do an upload on my phone, but I was able to on my laptop! Go figure! 🤷♀️. Possibly screen resolution??? IDK!
That makes sense. Glad you figured it out
Thank you sir for sharing knowledge 😊
My question is that can we upload same design on redbubble and teepublic also and any other websites
Yes you can
How about the marketing? Do we need to drive traffic ourselve or teepublic do it..btw great video juna❤
What do you think of Teespring ? Im only new and Im working my way up to starting a shop but want to learn as much as possible ? Are they any good ?
I haven't had much interaction with TeeSpring.... it's kind of tough to get started
teespring is rubbish in my opinion
What are the differences between blue and gray tags?
I don't know.... I'll have to check on that one
Please I would like to know more about Teepublic in terms of being a new startup.
okay I'll put it on the list
Next video on Zazzle
Zazzle is on the list
Thanks for sharing! How can I create icons and banners please?
Canva, Kittl or even Affinity Designer
excellent video, but I have a question, if my redbubble account was suspended, will I be able to apply on teepublic without problems?
I don't see why not.... it's worth a try anyway
Hi, Thank you for this informative video. I have a question: I have been selling png file digital designs and printable arts on Etsy since 2020. Can I use those designs if I start a print on demand on TeePublic and Amazon? Thank you so much for your time and effort to answer my question. God bless you always.
You could but because you sold those files there may be lots of people with those same designs.
When they ship items do they include your shop name on invoice or any type branding like Printful
I believe so
How do you verify your phone on Redbubble when the format on their onboarding shows XXX-XXX-XXX? Can't ever get signed up...
Good question... I'm not sure of the answer. Sorry.... May be a question for the Facebook group or RedBubble
But my designs are not shown on teepublic
Oh no.... I hope they show up soon.... make sure to do all the things for your shop settings..... icon, shop banner, social media, etc
There seems to be quite a few designs that have copyrighted material...i.e. things that are from Sesame Street for example. Don't they have copyright issues?
Yup.... TeePublic and RedBubble are pretty bad at removing those but that doesn't mean you should do them... it just means those guys didn't get remove yet.... stay safe
Hi, would you need to create a paypal or payoneer account before registering with tee public or do you create it as you register on tee public
Yes... you would need one to get paid
How do I change the tumbnail on the storefront? Say I`m seeling a mug, only the image shows up on the listing thumbnail, how will they see it`s a mug?
Sorry.... there is no way to do that... TeePublic only shows design as the thumbnail and not the product
@@DetourShirts But I`ve seen thumbnails of mugs on other stores. Was there a change?
You are probably talking about the product pages... yes when you search for a mug or another product you will see that product but when you got to their store front you will only see the designs as thumbnails.
Hi there, i have recently signed up on tee public, but I cannot see my store on the website. PLease advice what to do
Give it a week or so... it takes time to load up
How long does it take my designs to be live on the marketplace? cause I publish my designs and they don't appear on research.
So sometimes they don't appear on the marketplace... It depends on what TeePublic wants to show... some do and some don't
1/4/23 Thank you very much a clear concise learning experience Peace 😊
Thank you...glad I could help
