After I uploaded 20 designs I got a message back from Teepublic where they told me, "We appreciate how much work goes into each design, and we thank you! While TeePublic is an open platform where anyone can host and sell from their own storefront, our site's discovery tools is more curated. Due to legal or creative reasons, your designs will not show up in search or on the "new" or "browse" areas of the site."
And I'm like, WTF? All my designs are original art or photographs taken by me. I sent my first request to support instead of community, and I just contacted community. There isn't any reason not to include my designs. Some are simple but all are tasteful and professionally done. Has anyone ever heard of this before from Teepublic?

The thing with TeePublic is they have SO many sales that most of my T-shirt profits end up being only $2.00 a shirt. Also would be nice to be able to upload another version of your work to look better on each product.

Yeah they do have rather a lot of sales - annoying, but also brings the customers in I suppose. As you say, their upload process is so fast that you might as well use the same work and get the extra $2 every sale that you wouldn't have got otherwise.

Nowadays I upload my work myself since their automated system is now way better then back in that time. And Ive noticed the longer Ive stayed on platform the better sales got even when I wasn't uploading for a whole year. TeePublic is awesome... as long as you understand the incredible importance of using ONLY the tags that TEEPUBLIC suggests.
Not just phrases suggested in the Search bar, but also tag phrases suggested when you create a listing.
Invest the time to create a list of tags Teepublic suggests. Trust me.
Teepublic tags don’t work the same as Redbubble tags.

Timing of this video is amazing, just on time :) I've already watched it several times :) very useful information, THANKS A LOT, especially about their reviews, I had no clue... so, still a lot to learn and find out...Is there any way to search for the niches, trends there, apart from their newsletter and frontpage? I mean, something like Redbubble popular tags.

Alright... Can anyone please help me out ? I created a account/profile, uploaded a design with only subtle hints to some franchise and about a day (an entire day !?) later they promptly disabled/removed my account ... They instantly disabled/removed my account, without warning, without even giving me the exact specific reason as to why account/profile got so promptly disabled/removed... This also while on their site I've already seen loads and loads of designs that blatantly use elements from a myriad of franchises directly... Can anyone please help me out ? Much thanks Beforehand!

Due to creative reasons, your designs will not show up in search or on the "new" or "browse" areas of the site. However, you will still be able to sell your work through the direct link to your page or to the individual product pages.

Hi thank you again for the great video. I just joined Teepublic after your video. After setting my profile and adding over 30 designs I emailed them asking them if they could allow my designs to be searched for, but recieved an email back stating "While TeePublic is an open platform where anyone can host and sell from
their own storefront, our site's discovery tools is more curated. Due to legal
or creative reasons, your designs will not show up in search or on the
"new" or "browse" areas of the site. " is this a common issue or did I do something wrong? I've been in Redbubble for 4 months with no issues with the same designs.
