    To say that there will be nobody in the world to serve the Ocean is a ridiculous statement. The world is moving to EVs and wanted or not, there will be mechanics who will alsp switch to working EVS as in ALL EVS. That is just a logical thing. Also, the Ocean being one of the firsts EVs it will actually be easier for them to fix. EVERY ONE IS PANICKING FOR NO REASON. I mean, even the Fisker Karmas are being fixed right now. PEOPLE ARE MEDIA FREAKS.

    Fisker is the ultimate example of what happens when you have a couple in leadership, with absolutely zero checks and balances.
    1. CEO:
    Misses every deadline
    Designs a quirky car with questionable interior cues
    Goes into hiding amidst controversy
    Doesn’t lead from the front
    Fails to secure partnerships
    Refuses to fire certain management pieces who underperformed
    COO/CFO
    Fails to maintain budget
    Notable lack of corporate culture
    MISPLACES MILLIONS OF DOLLARS
    Does not step down due to mistakes
    Fails to file forms on time, resulting in massive dilution and delisting
    Absolute abuse of power. Both of these people would be fired in ANY OTHER company. Yet, they are allowed to decimate shareholders holdings through their incompetence and shady tactics. Shame on them, and shame on the BoD, for allowing them to run amok as they have.

    @EV OG Check your local DMV for your title/tag. Visit or call them with your VIN #. I found out from my local DMV that Fisker had not submitted all the paperwork when they should have back in December (when I got my car and I submitted all my documents) and they were piling up late fees for this. Even though my tax amount for the car was $5039, because of Fisker's incompetence the amount swelled up to $5698. Then Fisker told the DMV it would only pay up to $5500. So the tag/title was being held up by the difference of $198. I went down to the DMV, paid the $198, and walked out of their office with my tag and registration in hand. The title is being mailed to me and I should have it any day now. I did all of this last Wednesday. I'm not saying that is exactly the same issue holding up your tag/title; but it might be.

    Nobody in this community or the other employees deserved any of this. You invested your hard-earned money and gave Mr. Fisker another chance at his dream. He should be ashamed of himself for having learned nothing from his past failures. It seems like overconfidence bias on the part of Mr. Fisker.

    Electric vehicles in North America are Very Profitable for the last four years. The government put out Billions of incentives to build these cars? You take 20 million out of 2 Billion large, build the vehicle, sell a few , and then Golden Parachute to your next adventure before the Next Election. Now- do you taxpayers and poor Rubes who bought this Stuff........Understand The Game.....????

    Not sure who is processing DMV work these days, as most vehicle admins as well as the head of that department no longer work at Fisker. Anyone waiting for tag and title needs to keep the pressure on the company. Forget calling or emailing. Social media posts will get the fastest response. Best of luck to all of you.

    Thank you so much Brian and Adam for the continued conversation and the insights on where us Ocean owners are at. You guys always do an awesome job keeping the community informed.
    I’m not sure what I’m going to do as well. My wife and I love the car, it’s a pleasure to drive and we have to admit the attention it gets is wild. Who knows maybe one day I may wake up and change my mind and try to trade it in for something else but I don’t like what’s currently out there in terms of styling, range, uniqueness. In the meantime, I am just taking it day by day, enjoying the hell out of my Ocean One.

    Love you guys. I also would never decide to help save the planet as an old guy (almost 80YO) with Fisker's unproven technology. HF and GF should end up in jail for the way they've run the company. I was in business for more than 40 years , went into Chapter 11, succeeded for another 20 years. Not a single supplier left me nor a single employee. Integrity goes far. They have none. Thnaks for this joint video.

    Thumbs Up video/ comments.. Thanks for the Update. Everyone Loves a comeback story. FSRN..3% Gains 2 trading days. Fisker. We're all waiting for 10 K 2023 financials filing. Only then can new opportunities for Fisker recovery begin. Avg down at 2 cents.?? 2.0 Software updates occurring, 3.0 in testing stage for April release. ?

    I've watched every Fisker video out there and unfortunately Adam's has been the most negative even before going concern and whatever , i think Fisker Ocean owners need to be more like Tesla owners, I have been in Teslas and I pointed out obvious issues to the owners and they just said "it's ok its gonna be fixed in the next round of software updates" but Fisker got harsh negativity from it's infancy from owners and non-owners . It's like nobody except few understood what it means to buy cars from a start up company . oh well i'm an optimist too and i think Fisker will survive but this should be a lesson for Fisker owners not to bite the hand that feeds them !

      True, didn't a billionaire just die in a in reverse Tesla accident .? The Tesla semi still not in mass production, or it's luxury model still on hold for years. Tesla had had dozens of total vehicle recalls, fires, etc but most attacks focus on Elon. Fisker receiving great Global recognition good and bad and the bad isn't near as bad as Tesla EV problems.

      ​@@patrick7228I noticed that too. Most have owners only had about 4 months and already 2.0 has been a huge improvement. I think there was an agenda by shorts and Tesla fan boys to destroy the image early on. Fisker then had a chance but missed the 10Q which resulted in killing the stock price so now many angry early investors and steered away potential buyers because fear of BK.

    I want to hope for the best because there's no realistic way for me to get out from under this car at this point. This is my only car for the foreseeable future. I love the car, and while the cybertruck for example gets looks because it's a spectacle and a monstrosity that shouldn't exist; the Ocean gets looks and compliments because it's a beautifully designed car. That remains the case. As you said Brian, the problem isn't with the car. But the company is an embarrassment I wish I didn't have to be associated with. And now I have to worry about the long term service and maintenance of the car when they eventually disappear, because that is what they deserve.

      I feel for all of y’all. My friend purchased one of these and I immediately asked him if he knew about their struggles. He was completely unaware and is now stuck for several years.

    Employees? I have made several trouble tickets and can't get beyond someone taking my issues. I'm talking braking issues. I have yet to talk with a service rep to date.

    Fisker have zero assets!
    As an ex FOO owner & having received a full refund after 4 months ownership here in the UK, the retractable door handles are identical to the Jaguar I Pace as are other parts, Magna have used to manufacture.
    Just a heads up…

    Another great video Brian! I disagree your view of the company and the car.
    To your point I think we have two long shot hopes. Chapter 11 with new management, C suite and SVPs, and a substantial liquidity injection, or a third party buyout. A buyout might make sense, simply for time to market, but I agree the company has ruined its brand over the last year which, to this point, had really been it's most substantial asset.
    Adam, I always appreciate your videos and more analytical take. However, your statement that you bought the car as a review and to further the authenticity of your videos comes off as more of a mental justification for yourself, to make you feel better, or frankly as a cop out.

    Just can’t see a path for Chapter 11. That outcome would indicate there is a viable business model that will go forward, once the debt is restructured. Brand is irrevocably damaged - no one will buy. Even at these fire sale prices, inventory isn’t moving. Additionally, Fisker was losing a blended 35% gross margins on each Ocean manufactured, and this was before any SG&A or R&D. The cars could not be produced at a profitable price point. It’s chapter 7.

      Further damaging is the high turnover of senior financial people & the inability to file their 10k. This just screams financial malfeasance.

    Question which the answer might have changed from this recording to today 4/14/24. You mention that service is still a positive perspective, mid flaps, vents obtained and installed. But, recently. I read/saw that service is being shifted to current inventory sales with service being shifted to customers with critical safety and fully inoperable vehicles. That is, absolutely, a service concern where non-critic BUT needed service is. It provided and if resources are let go, not paid, or company does fold, those less critical items may not get tended to. Any comment around this as of 4/14/24.

      My thoughts remain unchanged today. Fisker is responding to and addressing customers' service concerns despite shifting service resources to address inventory sales. We also just saw addition dealer agreements announced yesterday, as well as an email to customers with an update on charging. Fisker continues to show signs of life.

      @@EV_OG I am considering an Ocean One, 4k miles used, at a local dealership. It needs 2.0 installed, back most windows recalibrated, and some noise tended to on the drivers mirror. According to the dealer Fisker is on their way today, which is pretty quick response. They aren't there yet but if they do get there today then that will suggest, as you are saying, that they are tending to issues. I also herd that they are tending to Oceans that are immobile so it's interesting that they are tending to this Ocean which is drivable.

    we are still waiting for our title and plates after taking ownership in late Nov 23. they say the paperwork has finally been submitted and we are waiting for them.

    Thank you guys, it’s good to hear how you’ll feel about the Ocean. The community is in a kerfuffle primarily because we don’t hear from Fisker. Looking back, hearing from Fisker has always been hit or miss and that lack of communication should have been a RED FLAG. Help to keep us informed since Fisker chooses not to. Lordy, even Sean at Fiskerati discarded the “Fiskerati” name; that’s not a good sign.

    I come from the part of country (eastern Serbia) where we have a very strong presance of black magic and it can do a real damage. Something like a voodoo magic, very similar. He'll not enjoy our money Ill tell you that.

    Main issue I am angry at is financial hardship for many. Any auto canbring this on people but when you can't get rid of it or is a large loss that someone can't even pay the difference or roll into another loan, is just pretty bad. Repos are coming.

    There's an old adage in sales..."if you don't have the substance, sell the sizzle". Brian....Henrik sold you the sizzle. Per your last podcast, you fell for the Fisker story, the logo, the 110 lbs. of recycled material in a vehicle that weighs 5,400 lbs., taco trays, California mode, rotating screen and the list goes on. The first aspect that drew you, and most others, to the vehicle is the design. But where is the substance behind the beauty? Doug DeMuro recently said the Tesla model 3 was the best appliance ever built. Not exactly high praise. But in reality, that's what we all want...a reliable vehicle that gets us from A to B in some comfort and efficiency without drama and hick-ups..... because the looks eventually fade with time.
    I believe Adam has the more realistic perspective. There is no reason for optimism. The signs of life you mention are absolutely meaningless in Fisker's survival. Stop believing or hoping someone will buy or otherwise rescue Fisker. No OEM wants anything to do with the name/logo Fisker and there is nothing to buy IP-wise. The fact that both of you have Fiskers with paper plates after several months and therefore legally do not own the vehicles, speaks to the absurdity of the company. You can't sell or even give-away the cars.
    Sorry to say OG...you've been played twice Holmes. First with the stock and now with a soon-to-be orphan vehicle.

    This is very tough for everyone. But as tough as it is, it is not officially over yet. Not officially. We assume it is over, but no statement from the company has been made, which makes things even worse.

      They’ve brought in 3rd party advisors as well. Not much to say beyond that

    Gents - thank you for having this discussion. This whole situation is worrying and right now without any idea or shape of what the future holds. Like most I love my Ocean Extreme but really need clarity on spares, repairs and service. For me the biggest problem would be a bump on the road or a part failure that needs a replacement and today there is absolute silence on how this will be handled.
    At the start I was really excited to order my Ocean and the day I collected it at Fisker in Milton Keynes (UK) was really exciting. Today I have a stunning car that I intend to drive just like I always did. I am not looking to sell it at all and hope to rack up 100,000+ miles plus assuming it behaves itself.
    Us owners just need some clarity on support and service. Trust as you say is absolutely critical and I really want to see a bright future. Until the Fiskers open up then the brand will never recover and they will have destroyed something wonderful.
    I am optimistic and patient - but there are limits.

      I am of the belief that Fisker is finished; technical support, serverice, maintenance, repair are all out the window. The best that could happen to Fisker now is that a buyer comes in and totally replaces the management; especially the engineering managers. Fisker is like a pretty girlfriend that can't do anything other than look pretty,...fisker does not have a reputation for "technical innovation".

    I appreciate the conversation, but the signs of life are fleeting. Again, Fisker has shown us that he needs to learn how to run a business. He never once treated the owners like kings and Queens. I feel that they are going down my friends. EV0G, I dig your positive outlook, but for this time, it's pretty dim. IT'S OVER, IT'S OVER.

    We will all look to see what develops the rest of 2024. Let's see what comes out of the woodwork. I'm hopeful that Magma is on the hook for maintenance as they were the manufacturer. It will be a legal fight in Bankruptcy court.

    It doesn't look there was a plan B if the OEM deal fell through, otherwise I think this would have been communicated by now. The more I look in to it the more I think that no one wants to deal with the Fiskers, so my bet would be CH7. As far as what there is to buy out of bankruptcy, in contract manufacturing there are upfront cost, like an engineering fee and tooling costs (molds, dies, ect.) and then there is a per unit cost. So you're buying the upfront costs. Who would want it? I can't think of many. All the big OEM's already have a competing vehicle. Maybe Tata (Land Rover/Jaguar) or someone smaller like Karma Automotive that bought the Fisker 1.0 assets. I do think the Ocean will live on, somewhere somehow, but without the Fiskers.

    A fire sale is mostly bad in this situation, as it looks like a liquidation. It screws your existing costomers, spooks the banks and investors.

      Agreed, but with half billion plus in finished goods/inventory, this is the only way to gain cash.
