Finally a generously sized flannel and Sherpa blanket. Exactly what I’ve been thinking of buying but they’re expensive! This is the perfect size and seems to be somewhat easy enough for me to do with my limited amount of experience. 🤗👏🏻👍🏻

This is a good idea for gifts. I am going to make one for my son …his sofas are coming in 4 weeks. He loves plaid. I am making him black and white plaid toss cushions . Fleece is so soft against your skin.
Thanks 🙏🏻 for posting ! I am going to check out your other videos cause I am looking for home made gifts for house warming , birthdays,
    Christmas.

Wondering how the blanket acts seeing the body is not sewn together. Does it come apart in the wash or is there a way I can sew it together while not looking bad?

The sherpa fleece is so "sticky" and fuzzy that I don't have a problem with the middle separating. Even when it's washed and dried, the flannel "sticks" to the sherpa fleece.

did you add any stitches to the middle to prevent separation?

I did not. I have since washed this blanket several times without the problem of separating. The fleece is so "sticky" that the flannel doesn't pull away from it.

Did you square the Sherpa first? That is my hardest part!

I did and it is the trickiest part!

@@HeatherHandmade What does "square the sherpa" mean?
