azeroth is the Old gods. everything is a false illusion creating the prison, and eating from the hand that feeds you. there is no good ending. titans made a matrix the end. we arent even real, we are just memories/dreams living out echoes of something thats already happened. Inception.
The only problem with your explanation is that we do know what happened to Galan, as we can find her arm, still clutching her hammer, buried under the rubble in a collapsed tunnel near the location where we find the holo recording. I always viewed the play about Dornic as sort of propaganda by the Earthen, and I don't think that Archimedes is a 100% reliable resource when it comes to revealing what actually happened on the island.
You know what I'm thinking? That Azeroth wasn't a real "titan" but an Archon that was forced to fuse with a seed of a Titan, to create the ultimate Supreme Order Titan above all of the Pantheon and all of the other primal entities. (sorry, this feels more and more like Xel'naga lore and the apotheosis of Kerrigan all over again, but with Azeroth......)
Well we knew all along that Magni was working with Azeroth and not Titans. He always asked her what she is trying to tell him. So now it just has a name and now we know how / why he turned into diamond. But hey its a content I understand that.
Here I was assuming the entire time that he was serving Azeroth itself. 😂. I thought it was obvious, especially with the ending of Legion. Years later my thoughts confirmed.... neato
@@DKHZStudiocan't really delete Shadowlands either or it screws up Kaldorei lore unless they are going to give Teldrassil back but then what happens to Sylvanas redemption
Well since the beginning the shadowlands was only a concept so it would be became again a mystery. And technically Nightelf souls doesn't go to the Shadowlands so it really doesn't matter. And about Sylvanas? I am not 100% a shadowland hater but there a few things that were really stupid, on of the things was that we doesn't got enough backstory why Sylvanas did that, and having her soul splits does sounds like a lazy excuse.
How does Magni losing his thraegar powers fit into the story though? Wouldn’t Azeroth need him more than ever to lead the charge in whatever she is up to?
its so crazy that a small quest line like this is so good and ties so many things together. versus shadowlands what was a jumbles mess of unconnected jibberish BS.
I think the true and final revelation is this: That Worldsouls don't HAVE to turn into Titans at all. Only a few ever did. During the pre-expansion events with Alleria hunting down Xal'atath, Locus Walker mentions the homeworld of the Ethereals had it's own "Radiant Song" event before it was destroyed, suggesting it too had a Worldsoul, and was crying out for aid. Basically, Worldsouls can be "birthed" into a higher form while under enough influence of a cosmic power, and the Titans want Azeroth to become one of their own; as does the Void. And since every Titan seems to have a particular domain of influence, I think Azeroth's is over Fate itself. As players, we continually defy the odds, even coming back from death, and that sort of power is quite possibly the greatest there is. I mean, think about it. It's been stated before that the reason why the Void is so dangerous is that they can see all possible futures, and use this to manipulate things to their liking. The two things that hold them back are that the Void Lords can't manifest directly into our reality, and that they're unable to determine which of those futures is going to actually happen. They essentially are playing statistics, but there's always that outlier; and we're the anomaly. If they were able to turn Azeroth to their side, they'd basically negate this weakness and be able to shift the odds in their favor, and thus conquer all of existence. Similarly, the Titans are beings of Order, and have had mixed reactions to their creations gaining free will. Some of them, like Eonar, are happy with the results, while others, including Keepers like Tyr, have taken aggressive actions against those who go against their desires. But if they could wield Fate, adjust the dice rolls of the universe itself? That is the ultimate expression of Order, and would insure they could shape things exactly as they want. (Heck, one of the new Rogue hero talent specs is called Fatebound and involves this ability, which I think is intentional since it's not something that was ever mentioned until this expansion...) tl;dr: The entire saga is building up to the fact that the Worldsoul wants to become it's own being, does not neccessarily need to turn into a Titan but is being manipulated by the cosmic forces to align with them, and the reason we, the residents of the planet have been able to do crazy things like defeat the Legion, is due to her empowerment.
@@LittlepipMLP I maintain that world souls are something of a divine blank slate. Naturally occurring, they would be in tune with all greater aspects of the cosmology, but most of the great forces we know of have basically been influencing them throughout the prime material we play in, claiming them to their individual sides ala the Titans. I also believe Elune is one of these as well, given her Light, Dark, Life, and (admittedly loose) Arcane aspects we've seen and the extent of her reach throughout the cosmos.
Fatebound for rogue has nothing to do with your theory, talents in the past for rogues have had fate as part of their name, because that's what rogues do lol, specially the assa spec @@LittlepipMLP
We probably should have already realized that back in Wrath, when we found out they gave Algalon instructions to self-destruct the entire planet if the Old Gods ever got a bit too out-of-control.
what about the female titan construct buried in the tunnel above the tower where you get a message from an orb, am sure thats the female titan that gets a bollocking from a bigger titan construct is the one buried in the tunnel
"Titan Overlords"... really changes perspective on things. Sounds more like they imprisoned the Worldsoul of Azeroth & she's been trying to break out for the past 10,000 millennia
A lot of evidence throughout the lore to back up that theory. We've sort of seen what the process looks like when it was done with Argus. The question is why did it take so long before Azeroth sent out cries for help? I originally thought it needed a speaker to communicate but the psychic "song" it's been sending out debunked that theory.
heads up, just a friendly bit of help palm is pronounced like pall-mall with a m at the end so Pawlm, not Pan :D sorry i know this is probably rude, i just hope you know i'm not trying to be rude, just helpful.
So Titans do horible thing... They trying to wake up her... Well if i could sleeping go into the mind of someone and ask them to stop people who trying to wake me up... I would 100% do that Let her sleep!
I remember a line from Magni himself at the beginning of his Threagar arc, when he's talking about Azeroth, saying "She is a Titan!" with excitement, as a guy who is directly communicating with the world-soul. Instead of implying "she's much much more than a mere titan" etc. I know, "mere". As if titans are a negligible force in the cosmos, but I mean compared to Azeroth ofc. Then Shadowlands and Amirdrassil happened and we thought she's not a titan. Then the Tali interview with Hamilton, lots of conflicting sht in the story. I wish they could make sense all of it at the same time without deleting the old narrative by making characters say "we were wrong, apparently she isn't a titan." Story can different conflicting ideas about what something is, but it should be planned, and not given as a solidified information to shatter it later over and over and over again. Do that once in 15 years maybe, WoW had enough of it.
You are actually braindead and you clearly haven't been paying attention to the story. It's been obvious for a long time that azeroth isn't just a titan
Finally. I can finally say with confidence that Blizzard has stopped playing stupid, cowardly games with the plot. They're no longer treating the lore like it's some kind of lame gender reveal party that must remain a mystery until the end of days, even after we've killed a literal god with our bare hands. The plot is actually moving forward. The secrets are coming out into the open and you know what? It didn't ruin the story one bit. It just enhanced it. I'm actually curious and psyched for what we're getting into next. This is a win-win.
The writing on this feels idk, I feel almost like who gives a shit if Xala'tath gets her hands on the world core. Like the Titans have been cooking this egg for a millennia, does it seem kind of dumb, that even if Xala got there, in a matter of moments she could override the thousands of years of im assuming a bath of order magic or arcane, whatever the titans vibe with. And like if she could overwrite that, then why wouldnt the titans have a similar process, to at least speed up the process of the "cooking." It just feels like even if we failed to stop Xala, Azeroth would come out and be like a titan, but with an emo haircut? Maybe I just dont understand the stakes? But even if we say fail in Midnight and she does get the world core, or destroys it, why does that auto win for her, could we not just turn right back around and be like "naw lady, ¡yoink!" and take it back, then Azeroth would be even less emo than in my previous assumption. It just feels super convenient that oh it takes the titans thousands, tens of thousands of years to convert the world soul to essentially the void being able to be like "boop, evil." If that was the case, I feel like the entire universe would already be 100% void
@ulisesroldan2955 actually no, it kinda proves my point more. How many times in previous dungeons or raids have we gotten to some ally, or dragon, or construct, or demigod being bathed in some type of magic for a prolonged time to only become a boss before our eyes, for us to be unable to stop the transformation, but by the current writings logic, we should have been able to prevent all of those by just juicing each encounter with any type of not badguy magic at the very end to completely nullify the previous attempt to convert. Which is what Xala would be doing to Azeroth. But if Xala had to follow all previous logic, she get there, blast azeroth with some void, azeroth's worldsoul would double over and be like "It's too late, run!" And then transform into her titan form because that's what's she's been "cooked" in. Honestly it would be pretty funny, Xala would be like "WTF. R U ShItTiNg me?!? 😑" But seriously, it feels way too late in the day, from all previously established canon, for Xala to do anything to Azeroth.
seriously the curse of flesh is spirit the 5th element ask yourself how did the breaker a titan construct made of stone become orcs that are very much eatable on a world with no curse of flesh
Yikes. You completely missed the entire side quest in khaz'Algor. Pretty sure we already met Galand. She is dead. She was destroyed under a bunch of rubble in a cave in. Two. How are you even saying Magni was working for the titans. He has always been working for Azeroth. Who said he was working for the titans as a diamond. Three. Who says the Thraegar are dead? You are completely ignoring the Odyn book in uldaman. There are rebels on an unknown island what took titan watchers and others. Whose to say those aren't the thraegar. And yeah titans are bad for Azeroth the world soul.
The world core is a prison for Azeroth just to pump her full of order magic. Which yeah she is not happy about it all and the damage that has been being done to the manifold is allowing her to use more and more of her powers.
inb4 all the "vlissrad w0ke need more macho men I don't like wimin taking the spot" for making Azeroth a "titan" woman despite it was already being speculated years and years ago... Oh wait I'm too late already.
So Xal literally wants to trap Azeroth's Worldsoul into that Dark Heart she's carrying around.. "in the palm of my hand.." doesn't just mean that coin... I think. It's like they took lessons from Elden Ring on how to piece together a story in item descriptions and random objects around the world lol
I dont get the game anymore...most of the gearing, mounts etc. is time gated and feels like a giant slot-machine where your money(gold) is worthless if you dont have alts and time to farm or wow tokens, people barely talk...would be nice as a singleplayer game but like this, its not worth the money.

I did get an answer...it was the cause of a db migration error and there is no backup or way to restore.
@ that sucks thank you
The only problem with your explanation is that we do know what happened to Galan, as we can find her arm, still clutching her hammer, buried under the rubble in a collapsed tunnel near the location where we find the holo recording. I always viewed the play about Dornic as sort of propaganda by the Earthen, and I don't think that Archimedes is a 100% reliable resource when it comes to revealing what actually happened on the island.
I love story time.
Years later my thoughts confirmed.... neato
Been saying old gods are part of Azeroth for a while now. Sounds like you confirmed it haha
Now if we could just delete Shadowlands, Warlords of Draenor and their consequenses, that'd be great.
That is a bad idea, shadowlands I can understand, but WoD ? Without it we wouldn't have the Great Legion expansion ^^
@DKHZStudio just really not a fan of large scale timetravel shenanigans
Great video!
its so crazy that a small quest line like this is so good and ties so many things together. versus shadowlands what was a jumbles mess of unconnected jibberish BS.
What's the betting that Galan is a boss in the Worldcore? Partially affected by the worldsoul but still fighting to uphold the Titan's plans.
i hope titans aren't evil please 🙏 🙏🙏🙏🙏.
I mean... they are evil to Azeroth's world soul. They are following the command of the realm of order.
no please they are good to the universe not evil please🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏.
It shows that the Titans aren't our friends. They are enemies of the people that live on Azeroth.
They don't care for our agency, unless they can weaponize it like in legion vs argus.
(Heck, one of the new Rogue hero talent specs is called Fatebound and involves this ability, which I think is intentional since it's not something that was ever mentioned until this expansion...)
tl;dr: The entire saga is building up to the fact that the Worldsoul wants to become it's own being, does not neccessarily need to turn into a Titan but is being manipulated by the cosmic forces to align with them, and the reason we, the residents of the planet have been able to do crazy things like defeat the Legion, is due to her empowerment.
Aren't the titans doing exactly the same as what the old gods tried to do, we just consider them "good" because they won?
Just when you think you know the answers Blizzard goes & changes the questions.
Could it be possible that she was repurposed into that big machine that rose from the ocean and we had to fight it?
So the final peak wow lore is the lvl 40 uldaman dungeon in vanilla...
insightful.
what about the female titan construct buried in the tunnel above the tower where you get a message from an orb, am sure thats the female titan that gets a bollocking from a bigger titan construct is the one buried in the tunnel
Kinda confirms who will be a boss
Free Will = Spirit
I always just called the thraegar disco dwarves...
SL needs to be retconned to everyone huffing Old God gas for two years
isin't this old news? the archive discs about the thraegar were like 2weeks ago?
"Titan Overlords"... really changes perspective on things. Sounds more like they imprisoned the Worldsoul of Azeroth & she's been trying to break out for the past 10,000 millennia
A lot of evidence throughout the lore to back up that theory. We've sort of seen what the process looks like when it was done with Argus. The question is why did it take so long before Azeroth sent out cries for help? I originally thought it needed a speaker to communicate but the psychic "song" it's been sending out debunked that theory.
Clearing up 20 years of lore for real.
What if Azeroth doesn’t WANT to become a Titan?
heads up, just a friendly bit of help palm is pronounced like pall-mall with a m at the end so Pawlm, not Pan :D sorry i know this is probably rude, i just hope you know i'm not trying to be rude, just helpful.
So, Azeroth is also against the titans?
I said it before, even before Metzen mentioned that Illidan will be back. I said, Illidan will be back with Sargeras at his side.
So Titans do horible thing... They trying to wake up her...
Well if i could sleeping go into the mind of someone and ask them to stop people who trying to wake me up... I would 100% do that
Let her sleep!
Cinema!
Bellular is gone. Subsumed by the botcomments. Botullar is all that remains. No but seriously, what's with these wanky af bot comments?
I remember a line from Magni himself at the beginning of his Threagar arc, when he's talking about Azeroth, saying "She is a Titan!" with excitement, as a guy who is directly communicating with the world-soul. Instead of implying "she's much much more than a mere titan" etc. I know, "mere". As if titans are a negligible force in the cosmos, but I mean compared to Azeroth ofc.
Then Shadowlands and Amirdrassil happened and we thought she's not a titan. Then the Tali interview with Hamilton, lots of conflicting sht in the story.
I wish they could make sense all of it at the same time without deleting the old narrative by making characters say "we were wrong, apparently she isn't a titan."
Story can different conflicting ideas about what something is, but it should be planned, and not given as a solidified information to shatter it later over and over and over again.
Do that once in 15 years maybe, WoW had enough of it.
You are actually braindead and you clearly haven't been paying attention to the story. It's been obvious for a long time that azeroth isn't just a titan
Wasnt the ritual meant to turn the earthin back in to what they once were just rock
Galan is in the world core chamber. War within will end with a fight in the world core
holy shit the bot comments...
Thank you Bellular, very cool! ❤🙏
Isn’t this the thing with the whole WoW lore, all it takes is Us champions to end a long reign of tyranny on every dungeon and raid
But seriously, it feels way too late in the day, from all previously established canon, for Xala to do anything to Azeroth.
Ok but why does azeeroth wanna destroy the world core then?
For real this time? REALLY REALLY SURE? 😂
seriously the curse of flesh is spirit the 5th element ask yourself how did the breaker a titan construct made of stone become orcs that are very much eatable on a world with no curse of flesh
Oh god, bots are here! Time to purge them i guess.
It is dorn-O-gal, not dorn-E-gal
Maybe its because Im not much of a Dwarf fan but Earthen Lore is boring asf
Oh wait I'm too late already.
we finally have titan propaganda.
Let Metzen cook
You say that EVERY lore video but you actually don't have any answers it's still guessing.
You are the master of clickbait titles.
Bump
So... what were the Answers?
Hi pelugar
Are you considering going to Bluesky? I wanna follow you but I left Twitter
PAM
I was banned this week so i missed the disc fragment quest, good to know i missed a complete fucking nuke of a lore drop.
You're great, but this video was excessively repetitive!
paLm
I dont get the game anymore...most of the gearing, mounts etc. is time gated and feels like a giant slot-machine where your money(gold) is worthless if you dont have alts and time to farm or wow tokens, people barely talk...would be nice as a singleplayer game but like this, its not worth the money.
