Question from a bubble newb here. If you fill it full it doesn't float. I thought that the bubble was suppose to make noise on the surface to attract fish. Am I missing something here? I'm headed out for my first try this afternoon. I put 40 BBs into a large tuff bubble. With no water it's 1 oz and floats. Should make plenty noise. Hoping it works.
@@HiFishGear Thank you so much for your reply. I didn't have any luck the other day, but I did realize that I need to figure out how to cast without getting my leader line wrapped around my braid. Had some serious issues there. Had about 5 feet leader but after a while I had to cut everything and put on a kastmaster. Love your channel BTW. Aloha
I'm a saltwater fisherman from Florida. It's like seeing fishing tackle from another planet. What is a tough bubble for? I surfcast big poppers and plugs from the beach, using a 9' steelhead ugly stick and 9' tica with 6000 Penn battles. What is the scene over there?
I've never seen these things before what are tough bubbles for are they like a bobber and a sinker all-in-one because I'm a freshwater fisherman not a saltwater fisherman but I always try to watch your videos to find out different stuff
@johnbaker you can fish the bubble and suspend the bait like a old red and white bobber or you can tie a light fly on a 4 or 5 foot leader and fish your spinning rod like a fly rod.
This is why I come to this
channel. It's the little things you do.I am the student to Island fishing on the reef.
Great video, Mahalo for sharing.
Do the medium bubbles have the ribs in them as well?

It will still float when it is full.
The only noise a non-bb-full bubble makes is from the splash on retrieve.

Does it matter which end the hook is on? In other words which end of the bubble faces towards the rod ?
There is a narrow side and a fat side. Narrow side faces towards your reel, fat side on the swivel.
I just had a thought... has anyone put "glitter" inside the bubble... like one of those snow globes? LOL. LOL. LOL.
I would love a tough bubble between the medium and large sizes. Say 1.5 ounces completely filled.
1.5 full of water would be nice, but I don’t see it happening anytime soon.
What's the difference with the 2 jigmasters behind you on the shelf?
Both from the 80’s one has a steel spool, one has a red anodized aluminum spool.
@@HiFishGear do both spools both have the same line capacity?
Tough bubble filled with water beads 🔥
